Good day, Pls i need an advice on my application, i got admission for an MBA at UNIVERSITY CANADA WEST Jan 2021 to start my program April 2021, but due to the short time for visa processing I deferred to October 2021. I’m actually sponsoring myself, I already paid a tuition deposit of $7,900 CAD. I’m actually using an agent and he advised I should pay the full tuition for the 1st year because the MBA program is a 2yr program. The tuition for a year is $17,550, i already paid $7,900 deposit and paid the balance of $9,650 to make it up to $17,550 for the 1st year. My agent said I should have at least 5m (living expenses) in my SOA b4 I apply for the student visa. I’m really confused here because a friend of mine said i said i must show the full tuition for the 2nd year + living expenses. Honestly I can only afford the 5m like my agent said and cannot afford the living expenses in my account. Also what documents should I submit for my visas application since I’m sponsoring myself. I will be glad to get every useful information from everyone. Thanks. 2 Likes |

Johnpaul94: Hello, Your agent gave you a good advice. Your agent is trying to put you in a position whereby it would be difficult for them to deny you based on finances. unlike what your friend told you. You just need to show sufficient funds for the first year+living expense ($10,000CAD) only. You don't need to show tuition for second year. The 5million in your account would amount to approx $16,500CAD which is very sufficient to cover living expenses. Hence, you are eligible financially to apply for your study permit. 5 Likes |

Good evening NL So I sent my passport to VFS Lagos two way courier service DHL. Although throughout the whole ordeal VFS didn’t send me any emails but I managed to contact them and get my tracking ID which I’ve been using to track my passport, now it has been stamped and returned to VFS Lagos. They wrote on the tracking site that it has been sent vide courier service. Then I decided to contact them again and they told me it has been sent with tracking number 5489*** which is the 2nd waybill number given to me by DHL. They told me again that it hasn’t been picked up by DHL and that I should contact DHL which I did. Now the DHL customer care told me she doesn’t understand what I’m talking about and I should go to the branch that did the service, which is quite far btw. Now my question is, for anyone that has used two way DHL courier service, is this the normal procedure? Is there anything I can do otherwise than traveling back to dhl office Lagos? I’ve tried this branch phone number but it’s saying invalid. Thanks |

Biddy1:There is nothing like student visiting letter is either you are applying for Visiting visa or study permit since your agreement with the agent is study permit your application number should start with S and not V so if it's starting with V obviously the agent is processing a Visiting visa for him please go and check with and insist that there is nothing like Student visiting letter insist on your log in details to know and follow up with what is happening with your Application some agents are so naive we know better than most of them so avoid them at all cost if you can please!!!. 3 Likes |

hi fellows I hope you're all doing well. so my sis migrated to Canada last year, she is currently employed but the cost of rent has upsurged and she kind of needs a roommate so as to help reduce the cost. Can someone suggest the right section where I can request for a roommate or anyone in Canada that needs accomodation? I'll really appreciate your soonest response |
