Donspicey: We are saying the same thing, if it is compulsory for Christians to wear hijab there then Muslim should also abide by the rules governing a Christian school |

Common! Al-Hikmah University is a Private School established on Islamic principles. The schools in question are some of the mission schools which Kwara State Government has been funding 100%. You may compare such schools with the likes of Nawairu-ud-deen, Ansar-ul-Islam etc. which were established by Islamic Missionaries but were also taken over by Governments just like the CMS, Baptist etc. Schools (in question). Christian pupils in such schools as Nawairu-ud-Deen etc. are not forced into Islamic dress codes or even taking Islamic Studies. Please check! 4ckyou: |

Firstly, you need to know that those schools are Government Schools and not Christian Schools. Secondly, Government Schools with names such as Nawair-ud-Deen, Ansaru... etc. also admit non-Muslim pupils and they are not treated the way those CAC, CMS,Baptist etc.. Government Schools treat the Muslim kids. Check the records! Danzakidakura: |

theBLOODofJESUS: 1 Corinthian 11:13-16. Had it been they understand their biblical verses very well: they wouldn't be vehemently repudiate the wearing of hijab. My question is- why Mary, mother of the Jesus was always on her hijab? Why Catholic Nuns stick to the covering of their heads. Stop hatred and hate speech, or is it because of varieties of your Bibles? 1 Like |

solution is simple.government should withdraw his funds from those schools and go use it to build another school for the hijabians and hand over the students back to the original owners.no matter what i don't see any hijab wearing students doing well in any of these schools unless the govt will also bring hijabians ino the said school as administrators and teachers.some persons don't just have sense.why will expect hijab to be worn to c&s founded school and expect no trouble ? |

actright2: The thing simple, build another school for Muslim in same local government and employ Muslim teachers, finish. Let Christians go to their own and Muslims to their own |

GOD who created all is certainly not this bad. Jerryherd: |

*When Jews see Christians and Muslims they see people who are confused * When Christians see people of Jewish faith and Islam they see people who are confused * When Muslims see Jewish faith and Christianity they see people who are confused. The irony in all of these 3 religion's is that their God is different from the other and yet they all agree about the devil Africans, let us develop our minds beyond religion |

Nobody can fight for God, the greatest tool to brainwash Nigerians is religion because we lack exposure. Now how did hijab become threat? CAN or whoever behind this are mocking christenity as religion who has no basis bcs the last time you show me Christmas movie beloved mother of Jesus is on Hijab throughout her life. There are Christians in Egypt, Israel, Rome and Kaduna here who use Hijab. Is not shameful christenity promote indecent dressing and against modesty. |

Jerryherd: Only God can deliver us from ignorant and daft people like you! Truly, WHY should a school care about Hijab, which is a Religious/Islamic Dress Code? What is the business of a State Governor, with the Dress Code of a School of Secular learning? And FYI, the Schools in question are Christian Missionary Schools, ab initio. Yes, Govt took it by force bu tthe Govt did not convert it to an islamic School, it still remianed a Govt funded, Christian Missionary School. So, the Govt has not right and should not be concerned about its dresscode, as long as it is still wearing what it was wearing before the Govt forcefully took it over or are you saying the Govt took it over so as to convert it to an Islamic School? And comparing Socks and Cardigan to a Hijab shows how unintelligent you are! Socks and Cardigan are NOT Religious dressing, unlike the Islamic Hijab which is entirely for Muslims only. Its like saying because someone is wearing a Pant or a Bra, that dressing makes the person a Muslim or a Christian? How ridiculous can that be? The Governor is obviously using this stunt to divert attention away from his failure in Governance and to "rally the base" of fanatics who will dance to his Jihad music. He knows that Religion is the Opium of Islamic fanatics, once they hear that, they would forgive and overlook his shortcomings. It is the height of Religious incitement that may lead to religious crisis, to try to force Hijab on a Christian School, for a matter that is Sub judice even when the Supreme Court i syet to decide on the matter before it. This sort of Executive Rascality by the Governor of Kwara State needs to be checked and stopped immediately, before the fool plungs the State into a fatal Crisis |
Re: Kwara Hijab Controversy: Government Deploys Security To Schools In Ilorin by dam4sam: 10:56pm On Mar 09, 2021 |
okonlahwon: Another ignorant and daft Islamiya! You Muslims should stop mentioning Jesus, He has nothing, as in Zilch, to do with your religion. Stop using the name of Christians faithfuls to booster your man-made Religion that was spread with violence and continues to be spread with violence. The problem with people like you , who dont know and dont know that they dont know is that there is a difference between a "Hijab" and a "Face Covering". The Hijab is an Islamic, Religious Wear brought by the Arabs and proponent of Islam. The Face covering that Christians use is just for the face, it does not have a Religious connotation and non Christians also use it to cover their face, mainly from Dust, which was much in the olden days. Dont use Mary's use of a face Covering to justify use of Hijab in a Christian School, it is evil and idiotic |
