The condition could have been negotiated to include projects in delta state. We know better.

when some people are in certain office they begin to see themselves as gods. There are precedent when it comes to these situation but malami who might have personal interest don't want to do the needful. we have heard how people have re-stole looted funds. I these case will not come to that.

The Federal Govt. is not fair in this issue, in that case they could have signed an MOU with the British authorities that the recovered fund would be used for projects in Delta State, and that they(Fed. Govt.) would supervise it.In the mind of PMB, after all, Abacha's loot was shared by the 36 States, so why would Delta State take the recovered loot alone, forgetting that Abacha's loot belongs to Nigeria. Conclusively, i'm not in support of the money being given to the state Govt, because it would be shared with the criminal, Ibori, because of his influence in the state.

There are many federal projects that can be reconstructed in Delta State. The FG should have a rethink.

If FG wants to borrow the money they should request same from delta government with required contracts entered into by the two parties, if legal battle breaks out I don't see FG winning, you can't tell the owner of a money what to do with it.

This is the crux of the matter. Delta state official position till date is no money is missing. Not only is this their current position but was also their line of argument in courts both here in Nigeria and UK all an effort to set ibori free. The Nigerian court agreed but UK court did not. Is Falana aware of this detail?
Let even assume those governors in charge then were mad, but till date Okowa has not said otherwise.

Delta should mention the projects to be financed. The money should be deposited in an escrow account from where the the independent contractor will be paid.
