It all depends on the kind of crowd you want at your wedding. If you want strictly 100 people then for a modest one as you said, your budget should be at least 1m

1. Don't borrow money to do your wedding

2. Never spend all the money you have to do a wedding. There's life after wedding.

So, my opinion (from my personal experience), just go to her village and pay her bride price, with family members only.

No friends, just your nuclear family and her nuclear family.

No extended family.

As for the white wedding, I'm not a church person, so I didn't bother about that.

Saved myself a lot of money.
