[quote author=Joyousgem post=99774429] Honestly, the ball is in your court and it's your personal decision to make. I will encourage you to make it based on your long term plans for your family. Thanks for replying I really appreciate. Please read through to understand more I am 25 year old (age is not on my side) Canada year 1-4 $18,000cad/ year *MacEwan University 325×18,000 =5,850,000 5,850,000×4 =23,400,000 *Memorial university 11,000×325 =3,575,000 3,575,000×4 =14,300,000 *Uk year 3-4 £13,450/year 13,450×453 =6,092,850 6,092,850×2 =12,185,700 Total Total is almost same. Meanwhile I have already paid tuition deposit of $10,000cad to Macewan because their admission came first and am to resume by January but when I requested to defer till September they didn’t reply instead they refunded half of the payment saying I didn’t register for class. I still mailed them no response yet. On the other hand memorial admission I deferd till may thinking I will request for Change of school immediately I get approved and write to macewan for full refund.. The wait is just tiring and age is not by my side. Canada isn’t doing nice at all,it looks like there’s no hope am just tired that’s why I opted for uk. |

Johanneiyoha: Hello. Sorry to ask, but how you mean how to go about POF? You should have money for the study or someone related to you who wants to sponsor you? If you had read from pages back, you would have seen where documents for study permit was listed. The gurus in house can help with that. 1 Like |

Mhegar: Hello Mhegar, From what I understand from your post, if you still need the scholarship to study abroad, you have to request or notify the issuing body for its availability. On whether you can get the scholarship back after a long duration boils to the policy of the issuing body. The best way to find out is by reaching out to the body. If this scholarship isn't from a notable body that can easily pass any means of verification process, it is best for you to request the funds to be liquidated and make available to you otherwise, get another POF to support it. Best of Luck |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by JustMellow: 7:30am On Mar 11, 2021 |
Lysega: Hello Lysega, LOE and SOP has been used simultaneously since Adam. The LOE is used to either address/tackle the concerns of the VO after a refusal or used to provide clarity to any complex situation regarding an applicant's personal situation. The LOE is mostly situable for reapplicants and as aforesaid, given clarity to extricable situation. The SOP is more of a study plan where the applicant enlighten the VO on the reasons for the intended study interest and the benefits of it. In some sitiation, the LOE can be multi-purpose which could serve as an SOP and LOE combined. Moving forward, you don't need to notarize any documents—not necessary except maybe you have the budget, just fulfilling all righteousness, or using a notary public for your affidavit(s) et al. A PS is more ideal when using it to provide supoort or strengthening the main POF. Biometrics is a most for an application to be processed whilst Medicals is optional. Best of Luck |

scaezar: This is a good news, Congratulations to you. You did the right thing by getting an experienced immigration lawyer in Canada to respond to the Procedural Fairness Letter (PFL) you received from IRCC. Good lawyers are very pricey, however, It's really worth the money and time hiring one for your case. The medical request you got from IRCC clearly indicates that the visa officer is reasonably satisfied with the response and supporting documents supplied by the immigration lawyer. Hence, your eligibility criteria for study permit has been passed. You shouldn't be scared about anything, you can contact the admission office of your prospective school in Canada to inquire about the possibility of reinstating your admission with them. If it matters, you may want to pay for application fees for readmission. Keep me posted about the outcome of your application. It will end in praise 2 Likes |

marcelonwa: You need to contact IRCC via webform to inquire about the current status of your application and ask if they need any documents from you to expedite the processing of your application. Sometimes, if you don't follow up with the immigration authorities, you may not get a faster processing from them. Be proactive by contacting IRCC via this medium. Fresh88Man: Hello Fresh88Man, Don't allow this to bother you. This ìs the kind of 'beautiful problem or confusion' some people are hoping for. Kindly send a message to the school about the issuance of her enrollment letter or how to go about about her registration. You may also want to point it to their attention she has passed her medicals. Best of Luck |
