This brings me to my question...

Wait bro, is this yhur weekly expenses or monthly? If the later is the answer then I spend even more here in Nigeria than yhu.

A bigger apartment though, but $10 -$12 for electricity and water, I definitely spend much more than yhu.

This month bill NEPA brought is 46k with on and off electricity and I fuel my gen cry cry

Monthly.

With constant light, hot water and AC and every other appliances running

Accommodation can actually be cheaper but I stay in a fully furnished 1 bedroom apartment

When u earn $20 per hour and work 6 to 7 hours its $120 to 140 daily. In a week u get $500. IF u have 2 jobs u get at leas $1k a week u can get 4k a month and that's $20 dollars per hour some get higher depends on the job. While Naija u work for a whole month and don't get $200 worth of pay. Give an average Nigerian the opportunity to work abroad (not fraudsters) they'll make money and surely have 2 jobs plus an extra hobby. And make $. But Naija. 120k na big money for people eye. I love Nigerians cuz they are strong when the job's worth it.

I net much more than 2m/month, so I save more than I spend every month here in Nigeria. But I spent like 70% of my net earning in Europe cos my tax was more than 50% vs Nigerian tax of circa 18%.

It's when you don't hold a job with longer hour's you look for a second one.
40hrs a week is the ideal when the rate is good, but 60hrs a week will sustain you

Poland.

Monthly Rent - 390 pln (dorm) - (roughly 47k).

Groceries ( rough estimate 250 Pln) - 30,750k.

Internet (when I leave the dorm) - 30 zloty (3,690k)

Miscellaneous - 200zloty

Total less than 150k. Quite cheap.

Minimum wage in Poland is 3000 zloty and according to cost of living website Numbeo, living cost monthly without rent is around 2100 zloty while a single bedroom outside of city center cost roughly 1800 zloty. If so, I was wondering how on earth do menial job workers survive in Poland? Please explain.

Living cost varies from city to city. Also, a menial job worker wouldn't be living in an apartment that costs 1800 zl monthly I suppose without having a good job.
Nevertheless, that 1800zl mentioned is expensive.

You have a kid and you spend $150 monthly for groceries? This is hard for me to believe undecided

House rent $400 a month shocked is it a shared rent?
Electricity $25 a month, wow shocked

You are right, something is missing, how can he be paying $400 for rent living with his family. Even shared room is about $500 to $600 and 2 beds basements are as costly as $800 to $1000. Though we dont know the country, am sure not North America.
