Keep your activity percentage very high by accepting (all) request, even thou you dont like where the person is goin by doing this for like 3days, your ratings will go up
.

One ogbanje rated you low.

I would not advise him to follow this advice as I was flagged for doing this.

Solution: Try to have a clear mind while working and hope for the best.
Continue to ask riders to rate you after almost every trip but do not beg.
"Could you please help with the rating, thanks?"
That's all.
He should get another phone, register another sim and book and rate himself that way he wouldn't be flagged.

What!!!

Its God that is just saving us in this country,we consume lot of fake products,no wonder people are dropping dead(young ones especially) often, older people are even staying alive than youths.

The quality things they use during their time,is no where to be found again.

In my family house,we have a fridge that was bought in 1987,its still working till now,we only changed the gas once, same with soft drinks that were sold then, you will see the quality in these products.

The day i saw a bottle of fanta, that was sold in the US,na that day i know say na poison we dey drink here.

If you took that tablet of coka cola that year you go know say na poison dis present generation dey take now

Sorry man...
If u get a poor rating u most likely know who did it, so just look inwards and improve on every aspect; your demeanor, conduct, body language, manner of approach, car condition, car aura, hygiene, driving style, knowledge of the road etc. U will be alright.

I did a trip from mainland to island trip was over 45km because rider requested we go tru 3rd mainland bridge. Ended trip fare was 2800 and bolt calculated abt 25km, I requested for a price review, and bolt was adamant to respond until I kept disturbing dem,
Here is wat I got to understand is that bolt is into fraudulent activities because there response was dat I took a longer route and I should let Dem knw if rider was aware and I confirmed rider was aware, so bolt didn't even call me all dis time but called rider about the trip and rider confirmed he chose d route and instructed bolt to update d invoice, bolt said he should pay d 2800 dat Dy will update invoice bt he should pay 2800.
So u see am at loss d owner of bolt is richer Dan I am bt still he defraud me of over 2k, nw d care service replied me dat d confirm d trip was 5000 and Dy are yet reflect it on d invoice, uptill nw

Am sharing dis experience because a setting time here on nairaland ppl we say we don't encourage cheat here bt bolt and Uber na d baba of fraud.
Even Uber will tell u day I are eligible for cancellation fee after u cancel nothing and Dy keep escaping all dis Small Dy block driver's.

Abeg make we ginger up take dis ppl 2 supreme Court.

I didn't post from hearsay.

I happened to me 2018, used another phone to request short distances. Mind that the requests were done at intervals for two days which I didn't work online.

I didn't even make 10 requests before the system flagged my account for irregular activities.

As an Uber driver in Nigeria, what are some of the major challenges and barriers you face today? Especially as it relates to payment.

I work for a startup which is looking to help resolve issues faced by Partners (Drivers) of E hailing services.

Thanks

first of all, for you to have this kind of rating even when you are telling riders to rate you we need to know what kind of vehicle you are using , is the vehicle in good shape, is your ac working perfectly mind you AC is very very important for this job. I once have issues with rating when I was using disfigured Toyota corolla and there was a time I worked when my AC is not not working perfectly my rating drop dramatically. There are drivers that have good rating without begging and it starts with there car

The only info I and people on this thread need from u is to say the problems u know the car has.
For the last time, don't buy a manual car for ehailing in Lagos. This is not an advise

Guy leave good car out of rating abeg, the Bolt rating system is designed to satisfy and protect the interest of customers(riders) and then to use and dump drivers.

Which riders are you talking about? The once with entitlement mentality?

Or is it the once that would want you to come pick them up right inside their bathing room?

Or the once that would say, "I ordered you so you're meant to call". This same riders knows Gmap misleads drivers to their PU yet they won't call but would want you to call them on top their N500 trip. Bolt commision is H, pms is N165/168/ltr, you'll call, use data, receive insult join, may even run into the hands of lasma, touts, one way, airport among others with your good car well maintained yet Bolt will tell you've low rating and uber will say your cancellation rate is higher than other drivers while Indriver will tell you your bad reviews are too much but they all forgot the day you complained of how a rider left without paying.

You know, you look around and all you see is you being used by these app companies all in the names of giving you riders. Bus.hit!

Inbtw, where is angryigbodon, I'm yet to receive the N50k you promised abeg send the money I won use am start pure water business i don tire for all these nonsense.

In conclusion, if you lile carry Bentley or roycrolls or even Ferrari that girl call chioma, shelly, Jumoke will still rate you with 1 star that you're rude, they will say sha na because of your fine car you dey raise shoulder?

Okay for those of you who thinks a good car will earn you the rating let me explain to you with this experience the ways riders think b4 carrying out rating.

Now, I brought a girl from island to Berger and was looking for a trip out. Got one inside shangisha, and rider called and told her I was coming. Getting to the street off her street the roads were very bad it will be very difficult for me to make a turn out after picking her up. So I slid the arrive button and then she called.

R: you're not even here and you arrived.
Me: I was about calling you to kindly walk to the junction( less than 50m on Gmap) because it will be difficult for me to turn out.
R: i can't walk, if you can't drive here and pick me up pls cancel.
Me: okay fine, request another ride, bye.

She cancelled and requested again it kept coming to me, more than 5x.

Got another request and drove to pickup.
R: where are you in going to ogba,
Me: I'm opposite GTB.
R: ok pls wait there im coming.
10min later she wad no where to be found.
Me: rang her, I still cant c u or arent you going on the trip again.
R: I'm inside a car like 2cars infront of you on the traffic but I cant walk so I want to turn then meet u u0 and enter just wait where you are I'm coming.
After like 15min I canceled. That was when I saw the stupid smallie trying to open my door( but door was locked).
Me: hello can I help you?
R: open na I ordered you.
Me: I already canceled maybe you'll have to re-order. (na lie o me already want to do it offline, can't afford 1star).
Got to her destination her street is very bad and a closed too with residence parked on one side of the strt.
Me: I dont think I can drive in else I'll be hard for me to coming out this plc and it night I won't see properly to make a turn or a reverse..
So I did a reverse to drop her off (less than 100m walk, No:8 on the street while we were just at the beginning of the str) I couldn't reverse well.
Me: sorry I cant. I'm sorry please.

R: you're lucky it wasn't online else I would have rated you 1star and they would have called me to explained why I rated you 1 star if any thing happened and I would have told them you didn't drop me at my destination.

Me: Its okay, good night.

So you see why drivers rating drop evenn without any issue with the ride? When was the last time bolt called you to explain y u rated a rider 1 star?

Even though I think pearl1910 is right for the most part, you also make a valid point.

Na so yesternight, after I had cancelled three trips because they were not taking me any closer to my house and I was tired already, got a fourth one that is a couple of streets away from mine.

Even though the pick up distance was 15 minutes, I had to go after getting assurance from the rider she'll wait.

Trip went well and as we got to her destination, she asked I end the trip and just wait for her to go in and change her clothes.

I asked her where she was going thinking it was nearby turns out she's going back to the same place I picked her.

Told the lady I wasn't going and that I've closed for the day. She tried pleading but I maintained my stand so I collected my money and left.

After my second trip today, my rating dropped to 4.75 from 4.83. First time below 4.8 in a very very long time and I am so sure that lady was behind the drop.

What would I have done to prevent that kind of low rating from her? Absolutely nothing
