As for me, the best gift I can give my children is a good wife/mother, and a happy home. I have been through a lot in life, and I won't let them go through half of what I went through. may God bless my unborn kids and any who wishes well for their children.

Books..books...book...knowledge is hidden inside books..and with knowledge they can succeed in there successes life.

By gift, I understand it as something material, intangible or not.

In our current capitalistic world, the best gift you can give your children (after choosing a good mother and making sure you're good yourself of course) is citizenship from a wealthy, developed and prosperous country. You can literarily solve 95% of your life problem if you can achieve this single feat. Now imagine a child born in Sweden, education health care and everything is basically free and funded by tax, with a powerful passport thay accords respect and visa free no matter the country on this planet you're going.

I see people pay millions in school fees annually for
subpar education for their children in Nigeria, and I just imagine how they would have saved that money if they lived abroad. And the Nigerian society is the kind that steals dream. You will hardly reach your full potential in Nigeria. And upward social mobility is one of the lowest in the world. So yea, give them a good passport. Celebrities and politicians that birthed their kids abroad are not dumb afterall.
