Good evening nairalanders.
Please I need advice/opinions on this issue at hand.

I have been taking care of my mother since before I got married, I have other brothers older and younger but they are not financially buoyant. (So they claimed) I did not mind this but kept on caring for her ( house rent, feeding, other bills).

Although it's a burden to me, but she is my mother. Now my wife suggest that any money I want to give to her should pass through her (I will send to my wife then she sends to my mother) or she does the sending and I later pay her back.

Her claim is my mother is fetish with my money. I'm confused can this be true? Sometimes my mother will make simple money request my wife would say I should ignore her. She says she is taking me for a fool. I am beginning to get tired of this whole thing. Please help with advice or opinions.

Thanks.
bro u have to be prayerful and careful, because ur wife might end up manipulating you spiritually, just for you to hate your mum, Just ask her how she knew your mum was fetish, them done jam for Herbalist place before? Use your head oh

I dont think the guy is sound mentally. It baffles me whenever i hear such trash from a man or even a woman. how can somebody tell you that your mama is the one behind your pedicament. it is sad to hear that. If your mother had wanted to finish you, she would have done so a long time ago. well, some folks can be mumu

You remain in your self professed dark hole believing it is not brighter on the outside.

[quote author=Chuxx84 post=99782444] Dear
Nairalanders,

One thing I can never do is to hate my mother neither would I ever stop caring for her no mater the cost. I just put this up here to see if my actions are correct. I am a man of peace and I love the peace in my home. So what I have done is let her (my wife) do her giving but I will still do times two of what she gives her. (I love that advice) Yes the first is just a summary. I do love my wife but I was disappointed when she said that. But I thank you all for your write up, concerns and contribution. Life is continuous learning. Thank you all.

If mumu was a country you would be the life president. The wife that you just met yesterday is telling you that your mother who carried you for 9 months and cared for you all your life until you became a man is fetish and you are considering it?

She wants you to withhold money from and potentially starve your own mother and you are confused about what to do?

At best you are a Homo erectus cos Homo sapiens means wise man, and you are mos def not wise.

I am sorry to say o Bros, but your wife is the fetish one with a wicked heart here.
Your mother is not struggling anything with her, yet she wants the poor woman to suffer and not receive care from her son(you).
Let me ask you this question, is your wife's mother alive or dead? If she is alive and your wife sees nothing wrong in you taking care of her mother and has not called her mother fetish, then our wife is a witch.
Oga, ignore that your wife and continue taking care of your mother. Don't ev n listen to her about giving her the money to give your mother, do it yourself.
You that have known your mother all this years, wife way just come join your family way only know her in a few years ago some free years want turn your head against your mama. If you be mumu you go listen to that your witch wife

These women do these things forgetting their son will someday marry and they'll become mother in-law too. If their son's wife would do this to them, would they like it?
my dear, the thing tire me. My biggest prayer is for my would be mom in law to be alive so that I can love and take care of her coz one day it will be my turn to be in her shoes.
Re: Is My Wife Correct On This Matter? by drezo(m): 2:22pm On Mar 12, 2021
What if your wife uses your money to do things to you so that it looks like your mother is doing something to you whenever you give her the money to give to your mother, so that you will hate your mother for no reason, moreover, did your mother ever do anything bad to you as a parent shouldn't? BECAUSE I don't even understand how some of you think.

Simple question. How did your wife know that your mother asked for money? You mentioned that you 've been taking care of her before your marriage. If you should start sending money to your mother through your wife, you 'll become the biggest .......

Bro u about to experience rival battle between your wife and your mother, soon she will force u to choose between them but be wise and so prepared because it might leads to divorce.
No matter what your mother will always be your mother even though she's a witch she will never let u down.
You guys have well spoken because i found myself in same mess about a woman i and my parents went to marry turned around after marriage asking me to do away with them and off course it is imposicant permit me use that word. the bible said for this reason shall a man leave his mother and father and cling unto his wife, e no talk say make i throway my parents. same bible said i should honour my parents that my days will be long on earth, so what it means is that if i try disrespecting them cos of her am already digging my grave myself so i decided she should go since she left the marriage because of it calling me mamas boy......i accept am big time i be MAMA'S BOY full time because she no sabi how many times that woman sell her stuffs so i go go school, the truth is if a 100 of her comes i dont mind what i spent on their bride price they will all go same way. Pls guys any woman that cant accept you and members of your family alike will end up bringing enmity in that home, no matter how bad that family is a woman is meant to be a custodian of peace in a family and not agent of confusion.

I want to address the fetish level

Hold one hand over your head, raise the other hand up, raise one leg and start hopping on your other leg. Now say after me, oh lord, allow me to have sense. Deliver me from the spirit of mumuism.

Your mother CAN NEVER be the cause of your misfortune. Else she would have flushed you from day one. Having taken care of you, through shit and piss. Sickness, school, food everything one woman go come say she dey fetish. If she is let her be fetish. If that fetish level no kill me and I still dey okay, dear mother dey do am dey go. I don't like divorce but as for your wife,it's left to you

2015 felele in Ibadan I was attending one cele church. I was born a celestian so make una no talk say I go find jazz. In any case one wooli do sharamantakaya come my side say spirit dey run am. I just dey look. Mid prophesy na him he mention say na my mama dey do me. Na that time I believe say spirit dey him body true true because the way I looked at him he stopped prophesying. I calmly walked to the Shephard and told him to warn that prophet. If he try am again he go collect. Apology accepted I left and never returned. If my mama dey do me and I dey this okay, please mommy, continue to be doing me.
God Bless u sir
