Prinss: I think peeps4u misunderstood your question. If you had already submitted, you can't make any changes again. That returning option is for people yet to complete their application. |

kingbee90: For want of meeting the requirements and also for the presumed relative easy experience with the HOUSEHOLD application, many have opted for it. Please take me through the process and procedure for SME. I have a micro business with a CAC registered business name. What else could be challenging with the application for SME cos I want to encounter less issues? Any SME applicant with experience please share. Thank you. |

Re: CBN’s N50bn COVID-19 Fund Disbursement Begins Thursday by Beedude(m): 5:07pm On Mar 12, 2021 |
kingbee90:It hasn't been approved yet. But from experience i think the company's business account will be better since its a business loan. |

Beedude: That's alright. I also have a biz account too. Just that I just realized I applied for a small amount(1.3m) I want to edit it but unfortunately, I didn't save my reference number so I can't. But hey, nothing spoil. It's only a LOAN. |

Orente21:If its Business Name , then you can do that yourself . Log on to cac.gov.ng Create a profile (username and password ) Proceed to name availability, by starting an application of submitting two desired name , where one will be approved for you. This will cost you #500 payment is online. Within 24-48, an approval or denial notice will be sent to you. If one is approved, you can proceed to register the name proper....if non of the two is approved, you will have to review the name and do the process again, you will pay another #500. (You may want to use the public search link on the website, to know if someone isn't already using your intended name, this will save you wasting #500 over and over ) After approval , the registration is #10,000 , fill all details properly otherwise you may encounter a query to amend here and there . Once done, your certificate will be ready for either download online or state headquarter pickup as the case may be I hope this helps 1 Like |

yommexe:That's also good . But like I said , IF IT IS BUSINESS NAME , can be done by self . I have registered 4 BN for myself and my wife , all by myself . I just made sure I obey all that's stated . There is a place you should take the FORM BN1 to court and Commissioner for Oat should sign, some people will ignore and upload the form like that . |

kingbee90:I actually applied for 2.4m cos its likely they slash the money before approval. Ur 1.3m isn't bad as well. U may be lucky it wont get slashed. At the end we should just do something productive with the fund. |

kingbee90: Nope. Though I tried but couldn't get past 2nd step due to error message with age tied to BVN. I want to consider the SME hence my request for clues and hints. Thanks. |
Re: CBN’s N50bn COVID-19 Fund Disbursement Begins Thursday by Buddy0: 6:44pm On Mar 12, 2021 |
Prinss: The only difference between new and returning is that with returning you will be able to continue from your last attempt. But when it comes to submission, both new and returning won't submit again if there is already a record of that bvn. 1 Like |

Orente21:Except its a spcialized service business like pharmaceutical stores and all, no document needed. How soon depends on all the steps listed and if you don't encounter query. Ever since they started doing everything online , I want to believe it will be "swifter" than ever. BUT if you're doing it because of COVID loan, I am not certain your TIN from FIRS will come out as fast as needed |

truvine: TIN for a Business name is not gotten from FIRS. It is gotten from a state's board of internal revenue. I stand to be corrected on this. |

Re: CBN’s N50bn COVID-19 Fund Disbursement Begins Thursday by essay007(m): 9:46pm On Mar 12, 2021 |
Orente21:1. Register an account on CAC website. 2. Make a name reservation N500 and some service charge of about 116 3. Once name is reserved you'll log in and copy ur name reservation code. Use that code to commence the business registration process. Payment for Business reg thru remita is 10k, plus some service charge 4. Fill the form and upload the required documents (passpt, means of ID, Signature and payment receipts) 5. Wait for it to be approved if all goes well. Mine was a hassle. I was queried several times so here are some tips for u to avoid the pitfalls. * Sign your signature on a white sheet of paper and upload. * When uploading documents, the one marked others (last one) is where u upload receipt (I didn't upload initially and I was queried.) *Keep ur business description brief. About 100 characters per nature of business. *they only accept pdf or JPEG so used a PDF merger to merge ur ID card back and front before uploading. *use PC for ur registration to make ur life easy *If u need more assistance just ask. Cheers and Good luck mate! 2 Likes 1 Share |
Re: CBN’s N50bn COVID-19 Fund Disbursement Begins Thursday by essay007(m): 9:56pm On Mar 12, 2021 |
yommexe:Exactly. Initially I used phone to register and my registration was queried. I couldn't rectify it and had to email and call them several times. No reply or answer from them. I just decided to use a PC and that's how I discovered it's only on a PC u can rectify a query. To worsen maters the English they blow on your query may not even relate to what they what u to do.. so stupid. Instead of them to tell me to upload payment receipts they said "fill proprietor details complete and submit". Poor site they have and poor customer service as well. 1 Like |
