Yes, you are right...but to be honest, NLC protesting against GEJ's partial subsidy removal in 2012...is what led us to waste trillions more subsiding fuel...meaning no investment in more refineries like Dangote's, NNPC not having the funds to fix refineries, and us losing billions more to smuggling and so on.

When if NLC and your beloved heroes had supported the sensible idea to remove subsidies partially, maybe we would have had improvements by now.

Now here we are, in the midst of economic hardship, trying to swallow a pill we should have swallowed ages ago...and your heroes, having got into power and realized that fuel subsidy is not sustainable are now raising the prices....when we could have been done with all that ages ago...and had lower prices by competition.

Well, NLC organizing a protest in 2012 against the then fuel subsidy removal...partial removal..but very drastic....and might have made things better....is what led to Nigeria wasting N4 trillion over 5 years subsidizing fuel...money that won't have been wasted if NLC had woken up and realized that subsidy was no longer sustainable.

As for Wike, he is playing politics. That means he too did not support GEJ's subsidy removal....meaning that he too wants government to spend more money we don't have subsidizing fuel

I dont know why people are surprised the current NLC leadership is docile. Most of these Northerners are occupying positions they are not qualified for. Can you name any Northener who is known to have brought an innovation or occupy a strategic position outside the country? They are only good at Nepotism and favoritism.
