Counterfoil and LOI has dropped Although I'm a jjc here, I found this link after I had submitted my application. Below is my timeline - Applied December 28th - NSE request January 4th. I got a request to submit only ielts because I submitted my bank statement while applying. - NSE request submitted February 1st - Medical Request February 25th - Medical Passed March 2nd - PPR Request March 5th. Submitted same day to DHL because I live in Abuja. - Counterfoil and LOI dropped March 12th. - I'm yet to get my passport back Thanks to all the gurus and everyone here, I know I didn't find this thread on time but I know I will gain alot in the future. I intend to quarantine and stay a little in Ontario before going to Vancouver as lectures are still online. Advise and suggestions will be appreciated. It has finally ended in praise, I give God all the glory. 21 Likes 1 Share |

Royalty95:I doubt if you can get admission for an I.T. related course, cos am assuming you studied Chemical Engineering or related course, if you apply for an I.T related course, the Admission Committee will base their decisions on your Transcript that you don't av an Academic Background in I.T. and there is a possible Chance of you not getting the Admission if you do this The way out in my own opinion is, if you have work experience in I.T, the only option for u to go for you is to apply for a PG. Cert in I.T. , cos you might av the work experience ,if you don't, there are Chemical Engineering related courses in colleges you can go for if the one for universities ain't coming forth. By the way, - What did you study? - Do you av any work experience or training certificate in I.T.? - Do you av a 2.1? Finally, I heard u must send your new admission letter to IRCC once you are changing to another DLI (School) - UNCONFIRMED, I will suggest you let the gurus guide you on this 1 Like |

Pls gurus in the house, is it possible for someone who applied for PR to also apply for Canadian student visa? I just got admission into one of the colleges in Ontario which is different from the province (Manitoba) that nominated me for PR. Since the PR is not forthcoming, I decided to apply for admission. Please am I on the right path? Hope it won’t affect my study permit application. I would appreciate your sincere advice. |

What's wrong with you people asking for WhatsApp group? What discussion do you want to have that can't be discussed here?. A platform like this is easily discovered by other intending applicants. A WhatsApp or telegram group is totally unnecessary except for people traveling in group. 9 Likes |

PR is for permanent immigration, while you have to promise to return in a Study Visa application. It is easy to see how these are contradictory. What does the shaded mean? Better to get the PR application to a logical conclusion before starting the study visa, and hopefully you won't need it. Cashmay: |

Hey guys, I have some questions about submitting the passport. In the letter it was stated that they can't give out a visa beyond the expiration date on your passport. My passport expires in August this year, so I had to get a new one. My questions are; Do I submit them(the old and the new) together? And which photocopy should I include (the old one, the new one or both)? 1 Like |

My file is in Accra Visa Office. They’re not responding to webforms, probably due to this pandemic. I don’t know if someone can use study permit to cross over instead of waiting till God knows when] |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by awys: 8:39pm On Mar 13, 2021 |
recxa:Please submit the new one only for stamping and also send the data Page to Nairobi-Kenya informing them of the renewal through mails and webforms Since it's expiring August you can renew it as it's 6months to expiry so it's allowed please renew it then submit the new one only for stamping so if you have a connect in immigration office let them do it fast as you have 30days to submit your passport for stamping. Then include the photocopy of the new one only 1 Like |

JayEjabz: You condemned her for asking people to stop meeting via WhatsApp and later on you wrote this JayEjabz: Do you think you can get this information on WhatsApp? How will new applicants gather new information for their application if you go through WhatsApp? We are still condemning people for not sharing their profile and timelines for new people I submitted my application by myself and got approved . Everything I learnt for the whole process was through the experiences and advices of different applicants here . All student permit talks should pass through here please so people can learn now . All the best 23 Likes |

Hi Wadogho, are your parents late? If yes, have the executors of the will been granted probate letters by the court? If yes, then the will is okay. A will can only be valid once the probate registry of the court registers it and grants the executors of the deceased estate probate letters to administer the will. However, if your parents are still alive then I suggest a gift deed would be more appropriate. Wadogho: |
