1. In a situation whereby an applicant is self employed or an entrepreneur ( But no CAC yet ) how dose he/she go about the reference letter.

2. Can my Former colleague that presently works for another company now or my former Boss that owns a company be my referee ??

3. For the reference letter, am I to use a letterhead paper for it?? soft copy or hard copy?

4. Can I apply to different schools with the same personal statement?


P.S I use to work in the bank but I resigned 3years ago because I have a thing for sewing so I went to a fashion school .( Reason for my resignation )

I have been a silent reader for awhile and plaining to study in University of Gloucestershire by September but i have some questions;

1.How offen do UK embassy invite applicants for interview?,i have visited UK twice and would like to apply through schooling also with my family.
2.Why do they invite applicants for interview?
3.At the point of filling the form and we are asked where would we be staying,where do we write?I know i can write the name and location of the school but what about my other dependants(i.e.My wife and Baby).
4.Is University of Gloucestershire a good school of good repute?

Or is it better they apply to different schools and use different bank statements?
The parent is the sponsor for both of them.

I would like to get clarification on amount of money required as proof of fund for Visa application. My full course fee is 28,710GBP - 2years course. I have paid 10,616GBP to the school.
I understand cost of living is 9,207GBP.

Question: HOW much am I expected to show for Visa application? The balance of my full tuition fee + cost of living OR the balance of tuition fee for the first year (I.e 50%) + cost of living?

Need your response pls o! As I need to be sure I still have sufficient fund for Visa.

You will pay visa plus ihs fee for each dependants.

But If switching to health and care visa, you and your dependants will not pay ihs fee but will still pay visa fee at a reduced rate compared to skilled worker visa.

Don’t bother yourself. They will contact you if they need it. In the mean time, you can get it ready. It should be on a letter head

They will contact them. Your referee will be asked to send it.

You should have a desired course then search for schools

Don't wait till the school contact you.
Send it as an email to the address used for acknowledging your submission. Then attach the Reference letters.

Make sure that you quote your reference number too

Since you already paid half the tuition, all you need to show in your statement is the tuition balance and 9 months living expenses

I don't see any issues here so long the amount in your parents account covers the expenses for both of you I.e tuition and living expense

Sorry abt this but tell your sponsor to send mail to UKVI . It happened to someone here, the people were asked to send back their passports and they got the visa atlast

Good day everyone. Please my application was refused on the basis that they could not get in touch with my sponsor ( Osun State Government). My sponsor claimed they did not receive any message from UKVI.
I need advice if I should go for administrative review as quoted in the refusal email and ask my sponsor to provide another letter with contact details or I should start a fresh application. How long does the administrative review take?
