For question 1: It is an official document issued by a visa office that is placed in a person's passport to show that they have met the requirements for admission to Canada as a temporary resident.

2) Think so, you will see the place of issue when you receive it back.

Hello Gurus,
Good morning, I am new here although I have taken my time to read through some pages and I can see that this forum is rich.
I need advise from any of the gurus here before I start my application, just want to be sure I am doing the right thing starting form admission application.
I studied Industrial Chemistry in one of our universities here, graduated with 2:2, accordingly to my research here I can see that going for masters may not be feasible, on the other hand I have a 3years experience working as a Customer Support Officer. Please gurus in the house if you are in my shoes what course would you go for? bearing in mind that I have to show career progression in my visa application.
I thought of applying for chemical engineering (bsc) using my sop to explain tot he VO why I would still love to take bsc even though i already have a bsc certificate because I can't find any pgd course related to industrial chemistry. Secondly I also thought of applying for a course related to the work experience but I can't really find any course related to Customer service as well. Somebody should please help me as I am at a crossroad, what is the best decision to take please?

Greetings,
I have been having issues using the web form; i am trying to upload my upfront medical info sheet.
once it gets to the point of clicking on ''NEXT'' where it takes you
to where to upload the eMedical information sheet, the thing will just hang!
Is there anyone experiencing same too? Or is there something i am not doing right?
Thank you.

This occurs when you using your mobile phone to sent a webform to IRCC. I will suggest you try it again with your system, it will pull through.

Have you contacted IRCC to inquire about the current status of your application since your submission?. Sometimes it's good to contact them asking if they need additional documents/information from you so as to expedite the processing of your application. This most often reminds them to work on your file and provide an update.

There is no logical progression for Business Analytics/Data Science with digital marketer. To the best of my knowledge, a management program should be your ideal course of study. An MBA program or Master of Economics are good options for your profile.

Why spend so much for a document that is not relevant to your study permit application? I can tell you for free that police character certificate is not a requirement for study permit from Nigeria.

Transcripts is a very essential document to be included alongside your application package when applying for a study visa to Canada. Even though, there are a few number of applicants who were successful without including their transcripts with their application, I would urge you to include it. I recently noticed a new refusal reason from the immigration of Canada, which is often as a result of "missing marksheets/transcripts" to show progression for the chosen course of study. To play on a safe path with your two eyes closed, its advisable to include one.

With respect to your second question, the amount in your account matters a lot in your visa application and further demonstrate your personal financial establishment. If you're a matured applicant and in gainful employment for the past 3 years and above, its very important to show substantial proof of funds on your part irrespective of the fact of being sponsored by a family member.

I hope this information satisfies your enquires.

Good day Frank, from what you said here, it means that if the company isn't a recognised one, they should atleast maybe send even if it's your first say fees to your account right?
Thanks!

Generally Speaking, I wouldn't advice anyone on this platform to use company's sponsorship for a Canadian study permit application. You can only do so, on the account that the owner/CEO of the company is a close family member. However, if the owner of the company is not in any way related to you, it will be extremely difficult to convince the visa officer on the provenance of funds accessibility during the course of your studies.

Hi I have been refused from US but I have forgotten, on my application I choose no, I was 17 then like 6 years ago. My mum was applying and she added me to the application.

I have totally forgotten

What can I do?

I don't think this should have a negative effect on your present study permit application considering that you're a minor (below the age of 18) as at when your mom filed for the US application. You can provide an updated study permit form IMM1294E and upload it via IRCC webform with brief explanation addressing the issue. You will face no problems whatsoever in the hands of the immigration authorities.

I’ll advice you to withdraw your application immediately and reapply then declare your previous refusal. If you were caught with a misrepresentation which is what this exactly is to VO, then you’re gonna get banned for 5 years from all these 5 countries; USA, Canada, UK, Australia and New Zealand and even after the ban the chances for you to get visa to these countries will be like really really minimal. So if you just submitted your application, I would advice you to withdraw it and reapply with proper informations.

Withdrawal of her current study permit application shouldn't be a feasible option here. She was a minor when her mum filed for the US application. She can update the IMM1294E study permit application form by including the refusal and provide a brief letter of explanation addressing this concern. From my vast experiences, no reasonable visa office allegedly charge her for misrepresentation.

@ozone00001, please be properly guided.

I apply for a tourist visa November 2019
Up till date no response, I guess due to covid 19

Am about to submit my study visa application
I will like to ask gurus if the tourist visa will not effect me study application

I need your advice

Its not advisable to have two temporary resident visa applications processing simultaneously at the Canadian High Commission. You've the option to withdraw the long processing visitor's visa application and apply for study permit to further your studies in Canada.

There's a way u can do this.. Google members of Canadian Parliament, their office emails are available. Email one or two different persons everyday. You will see the Lords work.

Surprisingly, member of Parliament has little or no role to play on an applicant's application. They can obtain the current status of application but can't expedite the processing or decision of the visa officer. I would recommend applicant should contact both her primary and secondary visa officer in an email to inquire about her application.

Good day my people,

I'm in great dilemma and I don't know if I should continue with this process.

I want to use my dad as sponsor but his business is not registered with CAC and he's major source of income is through farm(village farm) proceed.

Please what should I do from here, I'm totally confused.

You can still use him as your primary sponsorship for your visa application. Although, you must include strong evidence that this farm business has been in existence prior to the registration of the business. You can include pictures, receipts/invoices as well as land documents or a letter from the ruler of the community authenticating this business to be functional in the community. More so, there is no harm registering the business now and including it with your application. You should explain to the visa officer that the farm business is located in a rural area and as such your parents haven't deem it necessary to register it wit the federal government.

Good afternoon everyone, i need a bit of clarification please.

My pof is split into three accounts with two banks and only 1 account is domiciled with a bank that offers mybankstatement service. What do i do?

Please advise me.

You can transfer the funds in other accounts into the bank account that offers mybankstatement certificate service to their customers. A written letter of explanation as per to origin of these funds must suffice in order to avoid suspicious reviews by the visa officer.

Gooday! If someone was included as an accompany dependent for permanent residence family class (the person was not the primary applicant). Should the person answer yes to has he applied for Visa to Canada before if the person wants to apply for study permit?

If the person has done biometrics, the answer should be YES and state clearly the immigration program type.

Sure, she still remains your biological mother. Although, if you're a matured applicant above the age of 35, it will raise eyebrows as to why she is financing your studies instead of your husband or yourself. Therefore, do your very best to dot every i's and cross every T's in your application.
