Good morning everyone! My interview is next month and I applied for a medical visa which is same as my previous Visa... I am due in June and this is my second birth .... what are my chances? Do I need to get a doctors reports and are they still asking for previous medical bill? Thank you

Me: no, he was born x months later and I left before my time expired
Vo: so how is he a citizen of the USA?
Me: we went to x country where I’m a resident and had him there, his dad is a us citizen
Vo: oh, okay, that’s it, now I get it
Me: yeah that’s it, boom
Vo: so what do you do in Nigeria
Me: we are visiting remember we live in x country

I used an agent and i couldn't get date in lagos so I opted for Abuja.

Both Lagos and Abuja conduct interviews daily

Hahahah e choke oo but na God cos the intensity of rejections happening at this time is not even funny. I sat inside cos of my son by the play area while others were seated at the waiting area outside the interview hall and all I was just hearing at the opposite side was no and sorry you don’t qualify for visa!

I’m not even surprised that Nigerians were excluded, the number of people that have overstayed their visas over the past few years is alarming and making it really tough for those who genuinely want to renew and those who are freshers. God help us because this country sef hard

What do you mean by if its the same process?

You apply for a Canadian visa to get one. And its a very different process that requires documentation majorly. No physical interview like that of the US.

Does the child become a citizen at birth?

Go to their site , book an appointment to renew a passport. you pay cash on the day of the appointment (about N45,000).  
Both parents most be available,  pictures of the child(from age 1-5) printed on A4 should also be taken along.
