greetings to you sir trust you are doing great please I had my Bsc in micro biology and I’m planning to go for my masters please which course can you suggest would show career progression looking forward to hearing from you
If you have a 2.1 you can go for Masters in Microbiology, there are lots of area of specializations in Microbiology e.g Biotechnology, Nano Microbiology, Mycology etc.

Visit Wikipedia for more details
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Branches_of_microbiology

Am sure you gonna see research areas you av prior knowledge or research in (e.g your final year thesis) or research areas that interests you in Microbiology, cos you gonna be in a Laboratory and its all gonna be a thesis-based masters (Research) and to that, you will need to search for Microbiology Profs in schools, check for their research areas, if you find profs you have something in common with, send a cold mail to them.

Its not advisable to have two temporary resident visa applications processing simultaneously at the Canadian High Commission. You've the option to withdraw the long processing visitor's visa application and apply for study permit to further your studies in Canada.

It will end in praise

Amen sir

Please I withdrew the long processing visitors visa today, I will like to ask the duration? so I can quickly start my study visa

Thanks

Hello All,

Please I need your inputs.

Please when someone is supported by an uncle,

1). Is it better the money be kept in Sponsors account or should the money be sent to application and gift of deeds given?

2). Is It necessary to show proof of past assistanceship though not in Education, but in other areas?

Thanks

1) my uncle was my sponsor, I was advised to have him send at least my 1year living expenses of $10,000. so i think it will be better for your uncle to show a form of commitment by sending most of the funds to you.
2) I think it will go a long way in showing his involvement in ur life.

please wait for professional advise oo.

Thank you so much, I really do appreciate.
I guess NSE is for all academic routes (MSc, PhD, diploma, postgrad certificate etc.) that’s what I think. I got the NSE request in Dec but I had a family emergency that period so I couldn’t write the IELTS neither could I provide my parents MBS too. To be very honest, I am currently running an online IELTS class thinking I wasn’t going to get the visa (since I graduated with a 2.1 and applying for a diploma, according to what I’ve read here, no academic progression). But I just thank God. But if you have an opportunity to write the IELTS and also provide MBS of your sponsor, that’s really good, if not, you’re still good to go as long as you provide all the necessary documents.
It will def end in praise.

After deed of gift worth one year tuition and $10,000 living expenses,is it necessary to still show the sponsor's account statement
Frankrobbn1:

Transcripts is a very essential document to be included alongside your application package when applying for a study visa to Canada. Even though, there are a few number of applicants who were successful without including their transcripts with their application, I would urge you to include it. I recently noticed a new refusal reason from the immigration of Canada, which is often as a result of "missing marksheets/transcripts" to show progression for the chosen course of study. To play on a safe path with your two eyes closed, its advisable to include one.

With respect to your second question, the amount in your account matters a lot in your visa application and further demonstrate your personal financial establishment. If you're a matured applicant and in gainful employment for the past 3 years and above, its very important to show substantial proof of funds on your part irrespective of the fact of being sponsored by a family member.

I hope this information satisfies your enquires.

Congrats to all those who got their ppr today.
Please I'll like to know which exchange rate the VO's use to know if the amount in an applicants account is enough to cover the tuition fee and cost of living? Is it black market, bank rate or what?

Lekiboboe:

You are welcome

There is no problem in doing a diverse program, the problem now is the Admission Committee of these schools accepting you for an I.T program. Based on your transcript, an academic background mismatch will be discovered which will make you ineligible for an I.T program.

Chemical Engineering will still be your best shot & its more diverse than Petroleum Engineering, and there are touches of I.T components in Chemical Engineering e.g Using Software modeling tools for simulation, Optimization etc.

You getting Admission at this time is 50/50, you av to visit the Website of the program in that school to know if they are still accepting application for Fall 2021

See the link below for

Masters in Chemical Engineering Programs (over 25 Programs)
https://www.universitystudy.ca/search-programs/?k=Chemical+Engineering&program_level_merged=Master%27s+degree&program_language=ENGLISH

Take your time & google them one after the other, check their Admission Requirements, tuition for international students etc., am sure u gonna see programs that are still accepting students for fall 2021.

If you are still interested in an I.T program, you are likely to get admission for a PG. Cert in I.T related programs, but for Masters in I.T. related programs, your chances to get admission is very low.

Thanks so much for the advice. God bless you abundantly
