Philadelphia:I know the reason I wrote it, your inference does not answer the question!! A penny for your thoughts tho.. For people who are willing to give input, the person is studious and can cope academically regardless.. The crux remains if there is a way he can do straight Master without going through pgd |

Hello everyone. Please I have a few enquiries from those who have been in Ireland for a while based on their experience(s). I got to Ireland in November,2020. I have been able to settle in school, secure accommodation, get my bank account opened, get PPS and GNIB cards. I have 2 broad categories of enquiries. 1. Job search: Please I would like to ask how it is going for us and ways one can get a fast part time job. since I got here in November I am online every night applying all over the various sites, indeed, joogle, jobsie and the rest. but i have not been able to secure any job and the bills monthly are becoming very scary. Please what is the way? Does any one have any legit connect? Please help a brother. 2. Certified courses: I would like to know if anyone has information about certified bodies that one can get finance sector certifications to boost ones CV to work in the financial sector. My fear is registering on any SCAM site which is not accredited because I need to be sure I will be issued a genuine certification for the course I want to take. Looking forward to a reply. 1 Like |

I understand how that can be. I came in Oct 2020 and got a few jobs after resilience and strategic applications. My advise is for you to choose the kind of jobs you want. There are several industries and you cant keep shooting one CV to all. Also, you should consider using recruitment agencies in Ireland. They always have jobs; some might be far from your house location. Speaking of which, where you live in Ireland could also be a factor. Recruitment agencies like Noel Group, Staffline, Temple etc. If you can be on their data base they'd always send you jobs whenever they are available. Don't forget the level 5 lockdown has hit the economy and only a few companies operate right now. I hope this helps. Cheers. |

Hello everyone. I want to use my current company as my sponsor, what other requirement do I need from the company apart from a bank statement. Second question: If I choose to sponsor myself, what document do I need as well. |

I have a single room in Waterford for 150 euros per month, you'll be sharing the entire house with one other person. It is a good way to avoid the high rent cost in Dublin as classes are still online. Private chat me if interested. 2 Likes |

Good day all, please I have a few questions to ask..sorry for my ignorance - 1) Please if you use edubond and pay maybe 6k or full tuition does the sponsor or student still need to show proof of finance? -2) Can an applicant have a joint sponsor for visa? Maybe like a father and mother or siblings?. -3) Can volunteer work let's say for about a year plus serve as work experience/explanation for gap year. Thanks in anticipation of your response. |

1. I'd personally advise you include recruitment agencies in your search. That's what I did in Dec 2019 and I was assigned various roles in business/office support based on their client needs. The same recruitment agency got me into the HSE Civil Reg Office (and this is a govt job I could have done for a long time but I just did it as a stopgap). There are a number of them, check CPL, Hays, etc. 2. In term of certifications, you mentioned finance. I'm sure you know ACCA and CFA. For banking in Ireland, check their QFA qualification. Thermodynamics: Level 8 qualifies you for 1 year PGWP. Your application is going to be sketchy and I’d advise that you don’t attempt this if it’s your plan at the moment. My candid advice further is that you don’t even use a block account. Also, you’re on a long thing if you just wanna get to Ireland and start working |

Thermodynamics: You may want to consider the UK |
