12large1:shut up. Nobody is blaming anybody for Osimhen's low return in term of goal. You are the one making up allegation. Wait for the new coach to relegate him to the bench. You are very annoying and childish. |

12large1:your problem is that you "assume" alot. He said gattuso will not be in napoli next season and your small mind quickly assume osimehn is the reason why gattuso will not be wirh napoli next season?. Try to use your brain sometimes cos you are not making sense at all. Read and understand but you post nonsense. 1 Like |

12large1:How is Olise an English reject. I suppose Musiala is also an English reject? Top national teams are busy finding talents that can improve their teams including dual nationals and you are busy expecting the Nigerian federation to remain idle. Is Nigeria better than Germany or England that were battling for the services of 18 year old Musiala? Or is Nigeria better than Netherlands or USA that wanted the services of Sergino Dest? Even smaller nations like Surinam recently got approval from their government to call up Dutch players eligible to represent them. A lot of national teams are looking out for players that can improve them and Olise is a Nigerian citizen by law since the day he was born. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Karlovych: Not just olise, Aina, iwobi, v moses, ejaria, lookman, akpom they're all English rejects. Anyone that played for England at youth level and didn't get called up to their senior is an English reject. Ask yourself if England call olise today, will he reject it for nigeria? |

[quote author=BascoVanVeli post=99946850] U were just praising him and now u are saying a new coach will bench him. Which one is it? Has he been playing good or were u just saying that to go with the crowd? If he has been playing has good as u yourself have said, the bench should not be in the conversation.Nigeria? I didn't say a new coach will bench him. I said a new coach "might" bench him since he is a gattuso signing. Also, I was responding to the guy that said that gattuso will not be at Napoli next season implying "termination" |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by 12large1: 1:06am On Mar 17, 2021 |
Karlovych: Of course, at one time they were Irish rejects since Ireland didn't call them to their senior team after playing at youth levels. Also, just because you were someone reject at one time doesn't mean they won't regret letting you go if you progress in your career |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Karlovych: 1:08am On Mar 17, 2021 |
12large1:Rice played 3 games for Ireland at senior level, and mind you Olise never played for England at youth level so is he a French reject or an English reject? these players will always do what is best for their careers. Same way in people's careers they choose jobs they feel is best for them if they have multiple options. Not all of them that expressed interest to play for Nigeria will eventually get called up 3 Likes |

Karlovych: My guy he is still an English rejects that's why people here are anxious and hoping that England doesn't notice him yet until we cap him. Even Ameobi that played in 2014 wc was an English Reject. Anyway, we just need to build our academy and ensure that we get 1st choice Nigerias like ndidi, zaidu, iheanacho, chukwueze |

12large1:If he changes his mind and decides to play for England, is it a big deal. Semi Ajayi also played for Nigeria at both youth level and Senior level currently, is he an English reject? Why put the word reject? A lot of players Born and raised in Nigeria have turned out for European, Asian and African sides in the past. Are they Nigerian rejects?Regarding the Nigerian academies, they have been improving in recent years and the good ones make it into the senior team as well. As long as they are 100 percent committed to representing Nigeria I'm okay with them. 1 Like 1 Share |

Karlovych: Anyone that plays at a country youth level and didn't transcends to their senior team level due to lack of invite is that country "REJECTS" But just because you were a country reject doesn't mean that you wouldn't have a successful career or the incumbent country wouldn't regret letting you go. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Karlovych: 1:39am On Mar 17, 2021 |
12large1:Lol, as it stands Nigeria stands a better chance of winning an international trophy than England. It's difficult for players especially teenagers that are 18 or 19 that barely have first team games for their clubs to turn down a call up for youth team games that boosts their profiles and it has nothing to do with being potential rejects. As far as they are committed and not mercenaries like Boateng I'm cool with them. like I said earlier they are Nigerian citizens and have a right to represent the country. Even the English-Nigerians that refused to play for Nigeria, a large majority of them had less than 15 caps for England including Agbonlahor, Ehiogu, Fashanu, Salako, Armstrong, Onuoha, Cole etc. So much for the "rejection" 2 Likes 1 Share |

12large1:Guy. Senegal, Algeria and Morocco. have "rejects" making up half their squad and where are they now in Africa? Right at the top. And please don't call Olise a reject abeg. He'll definitely had been in the French u21 squad if he hadn't decided for us. If you have the money to build world class academy in Nigeria, please go and build it but don't sit here raising the same topic each time an FB turns up for us. 6 Likes 1 Share |

JohnBullMySon: Football academies are springing up in Nigeria everyday and so the future of our football is bright. Barcelona, Real Madrid and Roma have football academies in Nigeria and there are plans to build more academies by institutions and individuals. Our grassroots football is really growing but maybe the press is not making noise about it. Players are being discovered every time 1 Like |

Philosopher1979:It's a good development for Nigerian football, even in the SE most of the players born in Nigeria are not products of the NPL they went straight from academies into Europe unlike the system in place some years ago. 2 Likes |

kellycute: Very simple one game doesn't make a player. He has played 87 games in the EPL for Leicester has now played 4 seasons and scored a total of 15 goals. Thats what many fanatics call exceptional skill and prolific striker. However, that's not my opinion. He scored a hatrick against a demoralised mentally defeated, relegated and managerless Sheffield United. A very good performance WITHOUT DOUBT, but it doesn't wipe away 4 seasons of mediocrity. It creates great expectations for him to live up to. The question is can he replicate and for once show some quality consistency or revert back to his consistent under perfomances. So maybe Brendan may give him more game time. |
