This is just stupid. I can't find the rationale. How many Covid cases to we had in Africa as a whole that would mandate this restriction?

It is not just about the Covid but the amount of days they will stay in isolation upon returning to their respective countries

Latest news is that all EPL, Ligue 1, Serie A, Bundesliga, and La Liga Naija players will be withheld by their clubs.

Iwobi, Chukwueze, Osimhen, Iheanacho, etc to miss out on Benin and Lesotho games.

Beautiful goals.

Abia Warriors have actually been playing good football all season.

And i think the passing game from some of the teams has improved most lately.

Yes Sir Imama has been doing well lately. They had been playing good without results earlier in the season but now everything seems to have come together. There is a lot of talent on that side.

Would that be necessary? This isolation thing has not made sense to me from the start.

Test these guys, if they are positive, isolate them, if not let them be? What's the use of isolating healthy people?

Still, they are travelling to a region where the virus is as prominent sad where they are coming from.

If the virus has gotten to the stage where countries are opening up, when then these stringent measures?

Oladapo was a treat all night. Too bad we lost. Enyimba missed good chances earlier in the game. John Noble is of Enyimba.

I'm happy for them, their coach is really good. There is an Irish/Nigerian defender in their squad too, Omobamidele.

Sparta Rotterdam glovesman Maduka Okoye will hold talks with manager Gernot Rohr during this month's international break about a potential move to Eredivisie powerhouse Ajax Amsterdam in the summer transfer window.

Ajax are in the market for a goalkeeper as they will be without first-choice keeper André Onana until February 2022, the Cameroonian was handed a 12-month ban from football by UEFA after breaching doping violations.

The 1995 European champions are believed to have enquired about the availability of Okoye but an offer has not been made yet.

"I will be with the Nigerian national team and have a conversation with him (Rohr)," Okoye told Transfermarkt Netherlands.

"I have a close relationship with him. He gave me a big chance against Brazil when I was still the goalkeeper for Fortuna's second team. I am very thankful towards him, and his opinion matters."

Apart from Ajax Amsterdam, it is claimed that English, Italian and Belgium clubs are keeping tabs on Okoye with a view to a swoop when the window reopens.

The former Fortuna Düsseldorf starlet wants to join a club where he has been promised playing time.

"The press found out about Ajax and is now a public topic but there are also big clubs from England interested and one great club from Italy as well as Belgium, both have talked to my agency already.

"But until the summer I will focus on playing, there is work to be done and goals to be achieved," Okoye said.

It is claimed that Okoye had offers from Besiktas, Atalanta, and Sporting Lisbon before he joined Sparta Rotterdam last summer.

My post match analysis. Surely Enyimba could have done much better in not committing errors but I believe this match gives them a lot to build on. Credit must go to the coach Fatai Osho because he did absolutely nothing wrong from the touch line. It was individual errors that ended costing the team.
