The classes already started in March 1. So she was required to pay 50% so she can get CAS and enrol at once. But ordinarily, you 1k GBP to get CAS and pay 50% of fee at enrolment.

How did you end up paying full tuition. I also have unconditional for SHU and they told me to pay 1k as deposit to get my CAS. Pls explain cos I dey fear ooo. Sept intake

I friend of mine in the UK (a student) received her NI letter, but the part that was supposed to have her NI number was cut off with a scissors.

Even the envelop was cut off.

Please is this from NI office, if yes, what is the implication.

If No, should she report to the police, as there is NI fraud going on at the moment.

Is your friend sharing a house?

That looks suspicious, he has to contact the authorities quickly before someone uses his NI for fraud

He needs to call NI line first to report it, they will cancel the NI and reissue it.

How long did it take SHU to get back to you on your application. It’s been a week now for me nothing from them yet.

Admission usually takes 2-6weeks. I think my shu offer came in after 7days of applying.

Don't rely on that. It was 570.5 naira today when I checked.
I was debited today. So it took exactly 1 week as promised. Rate is 578.

Hello People, Please, my wife and daughter applied last Friday 12th March standard visa, but a mail came in few minutes ago that my daughter's travel document is ready for collection. Please what is the implication of this. Because i think stand is 15 working days.
My visa was issued today. Just 9 days after Biometrics. Biometrics was done 8th March , Pick up mail 17th March. Standard Visa. Not up to 2 weeks!

Ensure you are applying to the right kind of school. A Higher Education provider with track record and your program is more than 9 months. Otherwise, you may not qualify for all the incentives that are attracting most international students.

Goodday all, there was an error on my Visa/BRP NO WORK NO BUSINESS and i have filled the BRP Error form on Gov.uk/BRP, its over 30 days now i have filled the form like 3 times and i haven't receive any response yet. Please anyone with similar issues that has gotten a response
Don't fill the form again cos every time you do your case file starts counting all over again.
Mine took about 11 days but I guess there was no rush at that time

I appreciate all those that have contributed their quota to this thread.

Please can someone suggest a school in the UK that offers 2years Msc program in any business related courses.

I have already applied to a 2 year Msc program in Teeside university but I would like to apply to other university so as to get options to choose from at the end of the day.

I already searched google but I could not get my hands on other schools with 2years program.

Thanks. Please what is the link to fill the form for Police clearance. I learnt I can as well submit from my state Police Headquarter.

For latest resumption date, is better she check with her University but I believe she won't have any issue base on that.
For her Police Clearance certificate, I will advise her to get the form, fill it properly and go to Police Headquarter in Alagbon, Lagos state so as to avoid any delays or story. Mostly the Police report is out within 5 days.
