Educational Services / See Reasons Why 2baba Is Still The King Of Music In Nigeria by precious1530: 11:44pm On Sep 11, 2017 |
We have seen talents come and go, sounds have changed, and our music is one of the few things that keep us united as one people. Music keeps you going, and Nigerian music is a reason to be happy. We can only be thankful, when it comes to our musicians We have had our hearts melted with the voices of beautiful talents, we have danced our feet to weakness, to the beat of trendy songs, and through all these things, celebrities have been born. While every musician has his or her own focus, and has attained his or her own level of success, some have just pushed it to the limits. One of such people is the veteran artiste, Tuface Idibia, who we now call 2Baba. Some of his songs have gone down in history as evergreen songs and somehow, above all odds, he still continues to grow and thrive in the wide industry. While we can all agree that he now has a few tough contenders for the throne of Nigeria’s music leader – one of such being Wizkid, here are some reasons 2Baba might just still own the title for now. 2baba 1. Consistency: 2Baba has been consistent beyond words. Since his days as part of the Plantashun Boiz, to his early days in music, this man has been consistent. He released the multiple award-winning track strong>”African Queen” as far back as 2004. A lot of the other artists that were popular back then, have completely faded into oblivion today. Who knows how many new acts in the industry would be able to build this same track record. 2. Content Nigerian music of today has been trivialized. We hear the same kinds of songs on a daily basis and it is worsening at an alarming rate. Musicians now only sing about sex, money, alcohol, or even worse things. But, not 2Baba. Even when he wants to get a little playful with his music, you would not catch him lose track of content. His content is clean, it is wonderful, and only really few artists today can boast of that. 3. Relevance How does he remain relevant to the industry after these many years? It is not news that a few musicians that were around when he first started, have tried to gain access back into the industry. However, it just doesn’t work. Why? Because they are really no longer relevant to the industry. It has grown and they didn’t grow with it. 2Baba. still remains relevant and his songs are still making waves till today. 4. He’s Legendary No matter how much an artist earns more than Fela, he still cannot be seen as better than Fela. This is because Fela was, and would continue to be a Legend – dead or alive. This is how 2Baba is. History has already marked 2Baba for countless reasons and he is a veteran in the industry for even more reasons. His songs are timeless and they would go down in history as some of the best things to come out of the entire continent. source : http://www.loadedupdates.com/2baba-still-king-music/ |

Education / Reasons Good Men Are Single by precious1530: 7:22pm On Sep 10, 2017 |
Recently had the opportunity to make some research on reason’s why “Good Men Are Single”. In the world today the nice and good looking men are mostly single, i had always confused and i always ask my self why is it that the Good type are the once single when they are suppose to be the once to enjoy the beauty of love. So i decided to make some research o find out why “Good Men Are Single”. Most people put all the blame on women, “yes” there are many ways that women contribute to the problem. but also there has to be a higher level of personal accountability involved. with that said, am going to give you Top Reasons why “Good Men Are Single” 1. You’re too soft as a man Yeah you have a good job, yeah you’re a good-looking guy, and yeah you open doors and all that sweet stuff. That’s great, and I applaud you for all those things. But at the end of the day, no woman wants a punk, and if you have not learned to balance cherishing your woman as well as putting her in check when she disrespects you, then you will continue to be a lonely punk… “I’m just trying to help”. 2. You lack ambition as a man So men seem to think that because they are the good guys, this means that mediocrity in other aspects of their lives should be accepted. Don’t get me wrong, some women have ridiculous (at least in my eyes) expectations, but some of you “good men” don’t expect enough out of yourselves. It doesn’t matter what your line of work is, show the drive to do better and be better and you will quickly attract more women. 3. You’re easily intimidated as a man Just because she has a lot going on for herself and portrays the “independent woman syndrome” (I will save the elaboration for another post) does not mean you need to feel insecure and start trying to prove yourself in ways that end up coming off as lame and annoying. Also, a lot of “good men” feel challenged by a woman who can do for herself and they back away at any sight of assertiveness on her end. MAN UP! If you know you’re a good man then just be you and she will figure it out. Assert yourself and watch how well that works. 4. You lack confidences as a man This goes with #3. A lot of guys that are “good men” do not have the confidence it takes to keep a woman. Women love confidence, and if you don’t have it then don’t expect to have her. That confidence actually plays into #1 & #2 on this list as well. You can’t blame women for not believing in you when you can’t believe in yourself. Get it together man! 5. You have no personality as a man: Your good job can buy you a lot of things, but it can’t buy you a good relationship. You will have some women who can tolerate you, but you won’t be able to keep her if you have not developed skills like: good conversation, making her laugh, and (not that I’m promoting this but…) good sex. Your nice guy, good job, blah blah blah can only take you so far. Become more well rounded and you will become more desirable and be able to keep the women that your money may attract. 6. You’re just not that attractive as a man: I am not trying to be mean, but let’s be honest. Many “good guys” just aren’t always the best looking. There is hope though. If you can conquer the other 5 things on this list, and do a good job a grooming yourself, getting in shape, and having some style, you will easily become so much more attractive. Women are turned on by many non-physical attributes so take advantage of what you can control and you will no longer have to deal with this issue. In no particular order of importance, these are my first Six (6) reasons. Not every “good guy” has all these issues, but one of these things may be present. Don’t be so quick to blame women for your single hood if you have not properly addressed the things that you can control. For those that don’t fall under any of these reasons, I will Uncover their potential issues in the remaining six (6) reasons when I post (Reasons Why Good Men Are Single Part 2). If you enjoyed this and will also love to know the the remaining six (6) reasons why Good Men Are Single (Reasons Why Good Men Are Single Part 2), I look forward to sharing more light on this, and in the meantime, I will love you to drop your own view about this using the comment box and also don’t forget to like our Facebook Fan Page, please click the link below to like our pagefacebook.com/Loadedupdatescom For More Updates….. Politics / Not All Nigerian Leaders Are Criminal- Buhari by precious1530: 10:01am On Feb 22, 2016 |
I did Not mean that all Nigeria leader are criminal – President Muhammad Buhari who was on An Interview at United kingdom Telegraph Newspaper On February 5th 2016, In a Conversation on Tuesday, Mr Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, noted that the wave of negative reactions to the President’s remarks about the reputation of all Nigeria who live outside Nigeria was a result of incomplete understanding of President Buhari’s point Of View.. This all Happened On February 2016 The Nigeria “President Buhari was asked by The united kingdom Telegraph newspaper about the flood of migrants from Nigeria and the fraudulent applications for asylum put in by people desperate to leave their motherland at any cost, and it was this question that elicited his response,” The Nigeria president { Muhammad Buhari } said, encouraging Nigerians to avail themselves of a full text of the interview, which has now been made available on the Telegraph’s website. Mr Garba Shehu added a view point that it was preposterous for anyone to imagine that the president of Nigeria would describe all the citizens of the country he leads as criminals, when he himself is a Nigerian#lol –obviously not a criminal–and when there are many Nigerians Who live their life and proud to be a nigeria just to make Nigeria proud akk over the World . “Unfortunately, there are also Nigerians giving their country a bad image abroad, and it is to those Nigerians that the President referred in his comments,” he said, adding that people may play politics and online games with the President’s comments, but the fact of the matter remains that Nigeria’s reputation abroad has been severely damaged by her own citizens. “These Nigerians who leave their country to go and make mischief on foreign shores have given the rest of us a bad reputation that we daily struggle to overcome.” Mr. Garba Shehu called attention to the many efforts of President Buhari to clean up the image of Nigeria, such as the war on corruption, stating that acknowledging you have a problem is the first step to preferring a solution. “President Buhari is very aware of the problems the people of Nigeria face both at home and abroad, and he is not shying away from admitting them even as he focuses on solutions to bring them to a permanent end.” http://skyevibes.com/2016/02/22/not-say-nigerians-criminal-president-buhari/ see interview video @ http://skyevibes.com/2016/02/22/not-say-nigerians-criminal-president-buhari/#respond |

[PHOTO] MEET THE FEMALE BRISTOW PILOT WHO SAVED 13 LIVES BY DITCHING HELICOPTER IN ATLANTIC OCEAN Sources: Skyevibes.com Tragedy was averted last Wednesday February 3 when a Bristow helicopter enroute Lagos from PortHarcourt with 11 passengers including two crew members onboard crashed into the Atlantic Ocean. Luckily, nobody died yet not many know the capable hand that was in charge of the helicopter. Captain Abimbola Jayeola who is also Nigeria’s female helicopter pilot flew the 5B BJQ Bristow helicopter that was headed to Lagos from Port Harcourt but ended up “ditching” into the Atlantic Ocean. “Ditching” is a controlled emergency measure to land an aircraft on water. Captain Jayeola hails from Abeokuta in Ogun State. In 2008, she graduated from the Bristow Academy in Florida USA, where she “learned to believe in herself”. It was revealed that were it not for the captain, all the lives aboard would have perished. Jayeola currently works for Bristow Group and is based in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital. Before joining her present employers, she worked with Geointel and Associates. Politics / Buhari ’s Body Language No Longer Working – Fasehun by precious1530: 10:20am On Feb 11, 2016 |
Sources: skyevibes.com Founder of the Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC), Dr. Frederick Fasehun, has bemoaned the present state of the nation under President Muhammadu Buhari, saying Nigerians are not getting the reward for voting the president and his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) into office. Speaking in an interview, Fasehun who said Buhari’s body language has failed said he (Buhari) was able to instill fear into Nigerians during his rule as Head of state because of the fear Nigerians have for the military. “Nigerians who cheered the president before the elections are now jeering him because things have gone from bad to worse. “I think Buhari’s body language is no longer working. He was lucky to have ruled this nation as a soldier and every Nigerian fears the military government. His own military government was particularly dictatorial so we thought maybe now as a civilian president he will bring in good governance and probably change. But some of us believe leopards don’t change their spots and this is what we are getting” “We thought Buhari will come in and make everybody smile. That was why Nigerians cheered him when he was coming in but now we are jeering. Things have to change for the better. Nigerians must have food on their table, they must be able to pay their house rents. They will have stable electricity to illuminate their environments, school fees will be paid easily, minimum wage will be paid and so on”. “But tell me, which of these things I have mentioned have we experienced since Buhari came into office? It may sound like criticizing him but we are actually telling him that so far, not so good”. “He still has more than three years to go so there is plenty of time for him to change. I am happy that the leaders of this country that have spines are telling those in government that this is not what Nigerians expected”. “We all know things were bad. We didn’t expect things to be worse. Some Nigerians are jubilating because the dollar has appreciated to almost N300. That clearly shows that there is no improvement in our situation”. Politics / Buhari Reveals Why He Cannot Prosecute Alison - Madueke by precious1530: 12:07pm On Feb 06, 2016 |
President Muhammadu Buhari, has said that he is unable to prosecute the former minister of petroleum resources, Deizani Alison-Madueke and other petroleum workers over what he called lack of evidence, Break Times reports. The president stated this in an exclusive interview with Peter Okwoche of the BBC, after attending a conference on the ongoing Syrian crisis. Okwoche in a series of tweets quoted the president to have said: “To prosecute corruption successfully we need evidence. That’s not easy especially in petroleum sector.” President Buhari had earlier threatened to prosecute all those who dipped their hand into the nation’s wealth for private use and among those brandished and suspected to be prosecuted is Alison-Madueke. The president unwilling to give up on his search for evidence has unwittingly admitted that there was no form of evidence privy to his government against the former minister and as such vindicated her from diverse alleged corrupt malpractices leveled against her by Nigerians. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister of Dominica Roosevelt Skerrit has denied that Nigeria’s former petroleum minister was ever offered or encouraged by his government to take Dominican citizenship. Skerrit’s denial comes as Alison-Madueke faces serious corruption investigations in both Nigeria and the UK.
