For the yorubas in the house,if you happen to be a good student in your yoruba class, then you would understand the logic behind the yoruba version of different colour name. Why red = pupa, why green = awo ewe etc. Do you all remember this topic in yoruba? ORO AYALO(borrowed words).u rememeber that there are oro ayalo afetiya(borrowed word by hearing),oro ayalo afojuya(borrowed word by seeing). For more detail, come and register to my extra mural class on yoruba. ![]() |

Billyonaire: Auto: Shift Gear to N, then apply aux (hand) break and steer towards service lane. Dont panic. For manual, changing to neutral gear is not advisable. As neutral makes the car to be more free,no more grip on the car and you can loose control of the car expecially when on high speed and going down a steepy road.Never never change to neutral. The best thing to do is to change to gear 1 and remove ur leg gently from the clutch until you completely free your ur leg from it.This will defintely slow down the car and you can then apply handbrake to bring the car to a complete halt. 2 Likes |

Richtalk: Otedola has finished these foolish legislators. They are just too lazy to do their job and full of sentiments. Just because one of them was caught, they want to transfer the anger to the executive arm. If the executive was involved in exposing their corruption, then that calls for commmendation. Yes,exactly on point bro. |

karl max: exactly!! why did the so called opposition not question him on the floor. of the house when he moved the motion? OrI dont think the other lawmakers(non member of the subsidy probe panel) that didnt raise any objection to the amendement raised by Farouk has done anything wrong. My reason:If you are given a task in your compnay to work on a project and you are the only one that know the in and out of the project. And after finishing your work on it,submmited the report,if you come forward later to say that you made a mistake while doing the project and you intend to correct the mistake,of course no one wud object to it simply due to the fact that you are the one that worked on it and know the in and out. To me, I think all the member of the subsidy committee share part of the bribe. They are the one that suppose to object to the amendement. |

Imanuelle:He said Farouk himself collected $500 while the remaining $120 was collected by secretary to the probe panel. 1 Like |

ifihearam: *singing*bro, you are getting it wrong accusing Otedola why he paid bribe.Pls get it right that Otedola contacted SSS when the pressure on him to pay bribe was too intense. It was the SSS that gave him the marked dollars he gave to Farouk.Though I am not exonerating Otedola from corrupt practices, but Farouk is already in a cage, his hands are in shackles already.Lets wait and see how the drama wud end. This wud really prove how serious GEJ is in fighting corruption. At least on of them (either Farouk or Otedola)is graviously guilty and shud not escape imprisonment. 3 Likes |

hassymo5: For me is a welcome idea, but the bannin should not involve civil servants, the CIVIL SERVANTS can be identify by their identity card on the road, very soon alot of workers will be force to come to the office late which can result to query and even sack!!!Try to read in between the lines. It is only COMMERCIAL motorcycles that was banned.Someone with his private motocycle is free to ride his without any molestation. |

bayooooooo:Otedola didnt succumb to the blackmail.Rather he contacted the SSS who advised him to play along and supplied him with the serialised dollar notes and video recorders. Otedola may not be innocent in the subsidy scandal but Farouk has been exposed as a corrupt man. |

mikron: you no dey read and understand article? It said he attached the money with the report he sent to the IGP. Read it again plsHavent you also read that Farouk said he refused to release the money to the police against the order of IG claiming it is the only eveidence he has against Otedola? Havent you read also that Farouk wanted to tender the money b4 the house but the speaker declined that Farouk shudnt bring the whole house into his(Farouk)bribery saga? That Farouk shud carry his own cross alone. Farouk has not been consistent in his submission, initially said he didnt collect any money.Later he said he collected to nail Otedola. If Farouk claimed he collected to nail Otedola, why didnt he informed the other members of the committee abt it ?why did he keep it to himself until his yansh was blown open? Conclusion:Farouk knows that he has been caught red-handed and just cooking up stories to defend his dubious act. But am yet to understand why SSS has not come out to confirm Otedola claim that sss gave him the serialised money and video and voice recorders |

bayooooooo: It obvious that you hv not been following the storyline from the onset. Otedola didnt give his own dollars to Farouk. The money he gave to Farouk is a serialised dollar notes given to Otedola by SS to track Farouk. You shud note that Otedola contacted the SS from the onset when the pressure on him from Farouk to pay bribe to remove his companies from the companies indicted was too much.SS advised Otedola to play along and they gave him serialsed dollar notes, video and voice recorder |

informatix: Why will Otedola Give Bribe if his Zenon wasn't Involved. The Police Memo will be the Only evidence that saved Farouk. Otedola should be Arrested Immediately if FG. Is NOT a Primary school.lol.It obvious that you hv not been following the storyline from the onset. if nairalanders have been following the information/news that has been coming out since the blow out of this bribery allegation,it is likely possible that Farouk is a bribe taker and liar.He has been changing his stories from the onset. (1)first,he said he didnt collect any money that the video is a caricature of himself. (2)after he aknowledged that he collected that he wanted to proof his earlier complaint that some oil magnate have been making moves to bribe him. The question to ask Farouk are: 1.Why didnt he contact the security agents immediately he got the money to submit the money to them?(hope u guys cud recollect that when Ibori gave Ribadu $50million dollars as bribe,Ribadu immediately delivered the money to CBN as an exhibit. 2.why did name of Otedola oil company got removed from the fuel subsidy report after it was reported to be there in the preliminary report.?(My answer to this is that,it was when Farouk collected the part payment of $620k that he removed the name of the company) You cud also recollect that Otedola claimed the dollars given to Farouk are marked and that he actually got them from SS fater he had informed them of the bribe request from Farouk and was asked to play along.I think the SS should comeout to say whether this is true or not. In my opinion,Farouk has not been consistent in his report and his reason to exonorate himself doesnt hold water. He shud be subjected to thorough investigation. |
