With all these evidence, I doubt those guys are truly police men
I don't expect police to be dis dumb leaving footprints everywhere

Hmm you're very right. They have been waiting there to catch those guys coming late from the club, knowing fully well that they have money with them or widraw tru their apps. However they might still police using fake registered number to defraud their tagets. When you trace the number it will lead you to nothing.
So the onus is the net work providers who did not do their job very well.
If there is anybody to be sued, they should be the one.

Family / Re: Should I Have Collected The Bread From Her Mother? by Princewell2012(m): 10:46pm On Nov 21, 2023
marcmao:
The fact that you refused to BUY THEM BREAD, is the reason they offered you bread while you were leaving.
you should at least seek advises from Elderly and experienced men whenever matters of marital affairs comes up.
You don't assume or use your city knowledge in doing things alone.
Most of our city life styles is archaic to these village dwellers.
Many village dwellers love bread, especially when the bread is sliced or coming from inter state.
Till date, whenever am visiting my in-laws, i still buy them bread and they appreciate it so much.

you need to grow up and be matured.
to me, you never ripe for marriage o.
you need to learn a lot of traditions.
This is deep. Whenever I travel to the village and I did not give my neighbors bread, they usually gets angry with me. They love bread from Lagos so much and I don't know why grin not to talk of going to my in-law how. Haba.
Even here in Lagos when an following anybody to see their in-laws we always ask questions to know what we must bring along.
We did that to my colleague who is a pastor, when it involves marriage you must ask question before going they don't want to know you are a pastor as far as traditions demands.

Since you stand to be corrected. I will correct you.
He travelled all the way from Lagos to PH to visit his potential inlaws. From the narration. I think he travelled by road which is a long journey. So, the bread would serve a purpose.

Another point is. Probably, both of them are from different tribes. So giving him the bread serves as him being welcome into the family. That is a sign of being loved by the gf family members.

No. I disagree with you because every tribe in Nigeria has its own local delicacy that are peculiar to that region ,they should have gotten something of such in readiness for the would be inlaw and not Bread that is very common in the town no matter how expensive the bread is .Even if it is something of #100 once it is local it is most appreciated by me.
Bread is a NO NO AS far as I am concern .

They spoke a parable using that Bread, he should have bought them bread instead of biscuits, haba who does that.
But unfortunately he didn't understand that Parable.

Personally it's weird for an in-law to give a son in-law bread. Who does that? Jezz! Personally I won't even accept anything. Na me supposed dey give them gifts not the other way round.

However, in your case, you're supposed to buy them bread bro. It's the normal Nigerian custom thing. Na U supposed buy them that bread but because U thought you're in the west you decided to buy them biscuit. Dey play

Why U go visit your future in-law without the girl being there? She didn't tell U about her family ways or what exactly? Una never serious.

Hmm they might be speaking parable with that bread,
If I visit my inlaw ten times a day, I will buy them bread,. I did that when I lost my father in law doing the burial.

Medicine after death. This should have been done prior to 2023 General Election. Tinubu wouldn't have become the President.
I kept saying Nigerians didn't prefer APC after the Buhari disaster, opposition parties out of greedy individuals divided their votes and handed the election to APC. Check the figures.
You are right, none of this three people is ready to back down, and drop their pride. All of them wanted be president, how is that possible
Atiku is also to be blamed as well he betrayed the southeast governor and use dollars to have his way, so they need to deal with him on their own way.
That's the result you've seeing today.
So APC uses that opportunity to graped the power

The truth is the western culture is already influencing Nigerian women even here in Nigeria. The new generation of women and mothers we have are not even 10 percent submissive. Now imagine these ladies finding themselves in a country that gives women too much power. It'll surely be abused and this is more reason why Nigeria men who took their wives abroad kept regretting such decision.
You're right this morning my wife was trying to be rude to me and I told her can your pastor wife behave in such manner, she comfortably replied me that her pastor is the one that goes to the market to buy food ingredients, so I told her what is the evidence? She said her pastor openly said it in church.
You see our women are not ready to be submissive even the so called Christians among them.
How much traveling them abroad, they can even plan your deportation.

We are not used to reporting in Nigeria may be Africa. But in US, even your little kid can report his dad for beating him and the police will respond aproprately.

It's just a complicated matter sometimes. Some abusive marriage latter became beautiful at the end. My pastor told us today how his sister fought for her marriage. At some point it was truly an abusive marriage that the man even beat her while she was pregnant and almost lost the baby. Fast forward, latter she became born again and so did her husband. They are now living peacefully ever after.
It's a gamble so decide how to play it.
Am an igbo man though a Christian, this kind of abuse is common among the igbos, why
I nearly arrest one living very close to me, should I called him a neighbor, my wife wake me up to come and intervein, this guy said he will kill the woman with two children and cult her in pieces park her in a gana must go bag and dump her in a Cana.
Can you imagine and this woman still have the gut to still leave with that beast till now.

Why will you give your brother quit notice and you said we are one Nigeria, I stay in Lagos infant I don't know Hausa or igbo which is more in number's you will get confused.
There are very large percentage of the northerners living in the west even in the east so why give quit notice to other tribe because of what one particular person did or committed Is it not complete madness even you yorubas does that as as well.
Where do we go from here. It will surely not help us to grow or develop. We need each others to succeed in life that is basic truth.

Running away from something does not solve the problem we need to face this truth once and for all.
