Expectedly. One of the many thieves. Effc should go beyond arrest and build a case even the devil will be afraid to act as counsel in court. The disappointment will be after all these, EFCC through tardiness or been bribed fails to prosecute diligently. 6 Likes 3 Shares |

prettyboi1: Well.written but the crux at hand is simple Why has EFCC not invited Amaechi to clarify these allegations. That's what people are agitating not that Buhari should arrest Amaechi. I frankly don't have time to go into a long rebuttal on what you wrote. So I'll just cite a few examples. Orji uzor kalu was charged to Court based on petition when he was governor. Ditto- saminu Turaki, late Audu, ex Imo governor (can't remember his name) Based on petitions written against them, that could not be prosecuted when they were governors. As soon as they lost immunity, efcc hauled them in. A minister does not have immunity, a petition has been written against him. EFCC should take him in. Furthermore, let's say tomorrow, Fayose finishes his tenure. And apc takes over and a group writes a petition against him. Your guess is as good as mine what will happen to Fayose within 48 hours of leaving govt house. Finally, EFCC has constantly said, there is no petition or any cause to investigate Amaechi, at least online apc supporters have said that. Well here it is in black and white: a petition with Amaechi name written on it. 1 Like |

The ambulance arrived within five minutes and he was taken out on a stretcher, with paramedics giving him oxygen support. I'm sure he saw how civilized countries work. As an ex minister and so called elder statesman; he looted and looted. Drag his arse back to Nigeria to face his crimes. I have no pity for people that are very wealthy and still steal monies. I heard the road to his house in edo was untarred but he has money to feed UK Nhis yet cannot influence road to his village. The sort of men that gives Africans bad names. 9 Likes |

As someone rightly said except Soyinka was given cash, Wike is wasting time dragging his name. The prof is a global citizen who has achieved much, hosting him to dinner is not an isssue. If Wike wants to squeeze Amaechi I expect him to probe areas like The rivers rail system Hospital, schools and other infrastructure amaechi handled. Then, we can tell if Amaechi is corrupt or not. |

I believe this man. Mr. Fix it has a penchant for lying. As a minister of works and housing, with Obj be stole large sums of monies and claimed to have fixed the Benin ore Lagos road. Yakasai by and large is a straight shooter. |

The proof of the pudding is in the eating. 1. Dasuki 2.akpolobolemi 3. Dokpesi 4. Metuh 5.Abdullahi 6. Tony Anenih 7.Bafawara and sons 8. Nyako and sons. If at least your commission cannot secure jail time for 4 of those- you have failed. |

This man sounds confident. I'm drawing attention again to the prosecution team of efcc. Nigerians should not be surprised if this man was to walk free. Either incompetency or through bribes. Trials are not done on pages of newspaper and internet forum but proving the case in court. Efcc legal team has LOST more high profile cases than WON Something must be happening at EFCC allowing big men to walk while only petty 419ers are jailed. 9 Likes 1 Share |

Keep. It coming. ![]() Can't wait for those of Okotie and oyakhilome. These people are just funny. He said; 21. Nigerians should commence prayer for IBB against stroke and death. 22. Sunday Oliseh, as revealed to me by God, is not the right coach for the Super Eagles. -_----+++++++++++++++++++ Why should we pray for IBB. Are we his family?. His presence or absence does not affect millions of Nigera. God told you Sunday Oliseh is the wrong coach, did he reveal who the right coach is? Those are just two I bothered to highlight. Each of his 'statement is riddled with inconsistencies. 2 Likes |

I have been seeing people raising this issue every now and then. Maybe it's the same person using different handles. I know the point to all this is so it hits the front-page. I hope the mods don't fall for this cheap trick. Each day people die and are buried. Why is this logic so difficult for people to understand? People also get married silently without noise and owambe. Different people ;different culture. In Islam, once a person dies, he is buried. If the Alams family, wants to mourn quietly. What's the issue? If you are unsatisfied, go to Bayelsa and ask his family for the burial ground and see if you come back unscath. |

Hi OP I see you emailed me. I checked and didn't see anything. If u could, send me the message directly from your own email. Thanks. The other fellow asking me for clarification. I'm just going to put up three poems. All 3 seem playful 2 of them are poems with serious value and 1 is just playful verse yet effort was put to it. Can you tell which is of artistic value? Remember, while poetry is subjective, there is still chaff from the real thing.

Sparklesebony: Read the verses, each beginning of the lines in all 6 or 7 stanzas begin with rhyming. I apologize I simply don't have the time to point out one after the other. Any student of literature can see it for themself. Keep in mind, there is NOTHING wrong with use of rhymes in poetry. I was more critical of how he failed to convey deep emotion and was more interested in rhyming. Were a word that does not sound melodious would have given more conviction he elected for words that sounded 'sweet'. Secondly his choices of words were curious to say the least. What pray tell me is the word 'lamina' doing in the first stanza ? Lamina means- a thin sheet of plate, a flat surface It also part of the anatomy of plants: the leaves or something. Not sure again. How does using that word help pass anything to the reader? Was it there just because it sounded and rhymes with what came before? Literature at least serious literature requires deep effort and thinking. Verses and 'cute' composition are also nice and have its place. Again I assumed by putting it in the fpage, the OP wanted pointers and ideas. If he is just doing it for fun. Then I say thumbs up. Not everyone has to be a poet. |

Sparklesebony: Your issue is your lack of proper education about poetry and literature. There are over six kinds of ryhme schemes Start from there. Read up on them And then go back and read his verses(which is a more accurate description of what the OP wrote) Again this (what Op wrote) is not serious poetry but verses filled with ryhmes. I believe by putting it on front page, the OP wanted constructive criticism. I'm most times at home in the politics section and have never visited the literature board so don't know what you folks do down there. If you don't criticize each other work, when it calls for it, then you are really not ready to move into serious literature. Maybe the OP just wanted to show his 'skills' as a versifier, if that's the case. I apologize. |

You were more interested in words that ryhme and not the depth of emotions which poetry is meant to convey. These are rhymes not poetry 2 Likes |

This man should have retired long ago from active politics. Since 90s to now. In his old age, he'll start writing statement and fretting. Some people don't seem to know how to enjoy their "wealth" 20 Likes 1 Share |
