It depends. I will advice Python. But if you're really smart and you want to understand programming deeply learn C/C++. You'll start with C for functional programming, then C++ for OOP, Design patterns. Make sure you're good at it. Java, python, JavaScript, will be very easy for you. |

Micro-Implants is no longer a future technology, it is here. Would you embed a Micro-Chip into your body? Maybe for medical reasons such as early detection of disease, or cancer cure or other reasons. Will it face lots of challenges from conspiracies? What about Security issues? Let me know your options |

dasparrow: East Germany, I'd agree with you, I haven't been there though. But in western Germany is a complete different story, I have lived here, I've experienced almost no racism. People who had helped me the most are Germans. If you are honest, hard working, smart and legit, most people will like you. It's hell, if you're illegal in Germany, and how do you expect to find it easy when you are illegal. 4 Likes |

janettee: Oh, I see. It is very weird and unusual, the university actually dedicated a whole semester (6months) for 1 project course of 5 credit Units. That's extremely weird. And still, that's the unusual case. Maybe 1 in 100. |

janettee: The bolded is false, for university of applied sciences. I don't know any university, applied or technical that the standard semester for bachelors is 8 semesters. Normally, the standard is 6 or 7, depending if the course requires mandatory 1 semester of internship in the industry. 1 Like |

janettee: The fact is University of Applied Sciences prepare you to be job ready. It's curriculum is tailored towards a real practical world, unlike the the normal universities that is tailored towards research work, that is, more into the academia. It is evident that that the school of applied sciences requires their professors to have at least 1 year working experience in the real world(not in academia). And there's always a mandatory internship that university of applied sciences had to go through, usually 6 months. And also, their thesis(bachelors or masters) is usually required to be done in the industry, not just university research. Now, a new law has been passed that allows university of applied sciences to offer PhD programs. I would say, if your reason to pursue a PhD is to be a professor or stay in the academic line, university is your choice, but if your career line is to be in the industry, the University of applied sciences could be a choice. 5 Likes 1 Share |
Crime / Re: Anambra COVID-19 Taskforce Members Rape A Girl Inside A Bus (Photos) by pseudonomer: 9:47am On Aug 13, 2020 |
Rawhumper: My statement never implied “supporting rape”. My statement is logical enough to follow. 1. A 25yrs old man having a consented sex with a 15years old is not a rape, but it is still a crime or sexual assault for an adult to have sex with a minor. 2. Does having sex in a public place makes it a rape? NO 3. I find it absurd for a man to attempt rape in a public place in a broad daylight. In Nigeria, when such things happen, the first conclusion is rape... without trying to know if it’s consented or not. Any sex with an underage is rape in Nigeria, but it’s actually two different crimes. 4. Without thorough investigation, you shouldn’t conclude it’s rape. I don’t even know if the girl is underage or not. I am only saying I find it very illogical to rape people in a public place. |

I don’t think any sane human will rape a girl inside a bus in the public. I can only assume the girl is underage, but I don’t think it’s rape. |

Lately, I’ve been involved in lots programming interviews which involves a lot of data structures and algorithm questions. I discovered practice and practice and practice is all I need. I’m using this thread to challenge myself to solve at least two problems per day. Others can join me too. Key to Success: Strong Background in Data Structure and Algorithm, and Logic Mathematics. Languages: C++, and sometimes Java. Others can use Python. 2 Likes |

ogagaejay: Yes, he would get a job after graduation if he's good. Germany is a country leading in Auto industry. There are so many companies that manufacture car parts. Mechatronics is exactly what is needed... He can works as an embedded engineer, software engineer(in relations to automotive), mechanical engineer and Electronic Engineer. And moreover Mechatronics is STEM course. Companies don't usually ask for a field when posting for job ads, they only mention related fields most especially in Germany. They list the skills needed, and if he studied Mechatronics and works a bit on his skills, he can work in any of the hundreds of Automotive industries like Hella, Porsche, Mercedes, Bosch...and so on. It's like saying Electronic Engineers, Civil Engineers, Software Engineers are not employable in Germany. Most of the guys that studied Mechatronics in my school even as B.eng already got student jobs from the 4th semesters. 3 Likes 1 Share |

ogagaejay: You don’t know what you’re saying. And I’m sure you never attended any university in Germany. Mechatronics is a well structured course. Previously, automobiles are 80% mechanical and 20% Electronics but now the reverse is the case. The Mechanical Engineers are worthless in the modern automobile industry, which leads to the course Mechatronics. Mechatronics combines both mechanical and Electronics... and You can cannot study Electronics without knowing how to program hardwares using C/C++ or similar which leads to the Computer Science part of the Mechatronics. In Mechatronics( You learn 3D-Design for Prototypes, Mechanics, Electronics and Embedded Systems principles and more). You become an electrician, or technician by doing Ausbildung, maybe that’s what you meant by training for 4 years. This is no way a university degree, don’t try to compare it or it’s structure to a University. If you have Bachelor/Master Degree, you’re an Engineer not a technician. It’s 2 big different thing. 3 Likes |

Because Nigerian CS degree is BS! I’ve never met any CS graduate from US/EU/Aussie or any developed country that doesn’t know how to code... because you’ll be involved in several projects throughout your university time to validate your skills. University only try to let you learn the basic concepts of coding/software development, and I think this is valid and fair enough because you have a lot of other stuffs to learn. With that, you’re expected that with ease, you’ll pick up any technology necessary to get any particular job done. 8 Likes 1 Share |
