joeydozzy: Being polite is part of the job. How many successful businesses have you seen run by rude staff? If you cannot be polite and mature, no matter how good you might be, then you should should resign. We do agree on one thing though, that sexkillz should issue an apology. Humility is key. Even the God he claims to fear was humble. If he really does care about nairaland and could devout such time and energy into it, then he will do what is right for it. 2 Likes |

spikes C: Exactly! You were happier as a non-mod, and a good lot of people will be happier seeing you being a non-mod. I really don't get why there is a problem here? |

bobthebuilder99: Believe me, he cares, if he didn't he wouldn't spend so much time moderating. And he did not disrespect seun. Why should anyone fear seun? Fear is very different from respect. Anyway I think it's post like yours that make him unnecessarily inflate his ego, and that is not helping him neither is it helping anyone else in the forum. Peace 1 Like |

bobthebuilder99: Sexkillz has spoken! Then you must respect every d#ck and harry out there. Don't look at words my friend, look at deeds. |
Nairaland / General / Re: A Response To The Open Letter To Seun Osewa by psky: 11:16pm On Sep 29, 2013 |
gree-die: His arrogance is evidently affecting the forum, and seun does have a responsibility to bring him to order, or atleast strip him of his duties. The "sensitivity training" is itself a way of humbling him, an apology is just that little extra which could be vital for the case. It might not be seun's duty to humble sexkillz, but it is his duty to have humble and mature mods. It is crucial for the effective administration of the forum. 2 Likes |

Kairoseki77: Exactly why he needs to issue an apology. His pride is getting the best of him. Bringing him down to account for his deeds will really help. Seun I hope you are listening? |

centje: Ithat's a clever way of asking him to resign, cause you and I know he wont apologise Well a mod who is too arrogant to apologise for acting in ways that are evidently wrong should resign. 1 Like |

centje: dude, this is now childish. seun has responed, made open his plans, allow him to work them out. Yeah but I think the best thing would be if sexkillz also issued an apology. That thread is booming, people really want him out, they don't want to hear any sensitivity training, an apology to add with it could do a lot to pacify them. 2 Likes |

Seun: They will be made to go through compulsory sensitivity training, and if their manners do not improve dramatically by the end of the training, I think we will have no choice but to let them go. Best comment of the day. I just hope it is fully implemented. |

ogugua88: Why don't you try and work things out with sexkillz. If so many people are complaining about him then there must surely be something wrong. We can't all gang up to say sexkillz has a problem, he must be doing something wrong. Please, at least consider his safety, because if things go on like this then someone is going to try to find him and harm him. In Nigeria we don't have CSI or FBI, when you die you are thrown into the canal, and that's the end of story. 5 Likes |

ogugua88: I can only hope those of you in Nigeria protested with this much fervor when patriots were protesting against fuel price hikes and corruption. That should also be a question for you, you seem like a very reasonable human being, and I am sure deep down you know a lot of what he is doing is wrong. Yet what have you done about it? I'm sure you saw what I wrote in the other thread, it's all about defending your people. Afam is as far as I am concerned the only objective mod who as contributed so far, and therefore the only one who deserves respect. 2 Likes |

You know if I was that sexkillz guy I wouldn't put my pictures out for people to see, at least maclatunji was smart in that area. You don't know who you might meet in real life, who you might need for a favour, someone might even take his anger to the extreme and try to physically harm you. Definitely not the smartest thing one could do. |
Nairaland / General / Re: Sign A Petition To SACK Sexkillz by psky: 6:02pm On Sep 29, 2013 |
I think the main reason why some people think he is the best is because of quantity, not quality. Just look at his profile page, he has spent seven months here in just two years, that's a larger percentage than mukina and even the owner of site. This post by OAM4J couldn't spell it any better: OAM4J: hmnnn... tough one for me https://www.nairaland.com/1129796/sexkillz-voted-moderator-year-2012#13355835 If someone was spending so much time and energy here, and for free, well of course people would deem him good, but that really doesn't make him good. Quantity might be a factor, but how about quality? I also think a lot the mods defend him because they have a "them vs us" mentality. Now I cannot accurately tell what happens in the moderator section, but I'm sure a lot of bonding does, and how many people can really objectively criticize those in their inner circles? They probably complain to each other about how annoying some regular members could be and takes solace in the fact that someone else understands their plight, they are really a community of their own, the moderators. And so here comes the "macho" male ready to defend the mods and show the annoying members where their places are, you really do not expect anything less than respect from them. It's human sociology people, which unfortunately at times yields bad results. 1 Like |

Spartan3d: Thier seem to be a point the mods dont understand, when u ban a user, it takes less than 2mins to create a new account, in the end NL will be filled with dead accounts...or u guys like the swellin numbers? Lol very funny. Don't you think that's the point? Why do you think you see over a million members on the top of your page? It's all for show. |
