Op why don't you stop insulting everyone and be honest to yourself. Having been found out, the best you could do is to abadon the thread. Unlike what you think, there's no dignity in staying back and cursing everyone, you just sound like an insane cock.

You again? Hmm...you know I don't think you should keep trying to guess people's ages, you are just fueling your obsession and it might end up consuming you. I think you should try to supress it and think of more fulfilling things. I mean like you said, it's not a talent right? So it's of not use. But anyway who am I to tell you what to do? Why don't you google for people like you, I'm sure you'll find them. I had to google for answers in your other thread, google answers all.grin Nairaland, among Nigerians specifically, is not the best place to open up on matters like these. You'll just be rebuked and told to go to church. Most of us are too backward and primitive-minded to comprehend the complexity of the human mind, and hence attribute it to the spiritual.
But hakuna matata, just google for people of your type. Like I said, you'll find them.smiley
Nairaland / General / Re: Subtle Ways To Ask A Person's Age by psky: 11:45am On Jun 23, 2013
Get one of your docs that has your date of birth, a doc you know she'll have and tell her you think there's something wrong with yours and you want to see hers.

If that doesn't work ask her for her favorite programme when she was a kid, or her favorite song in sec school, that'll give you an idea.

Again if that doesn't work out ask her for the name of her secondary school, and tell her you think you know someone who went to the same school and graduated around so so so period. During the conversation she might be forced to tell you when she graduated, and that'll also give you an idea.

Got all these tips from yahoo answers, place rocks!

Nairaland / General / Re: Nairaland Needs Unlike Click by psky: 10:04am On Jun 12, 2013
harlos: oh i see the reason why u need the unlike click, but still there won't be any changes if it exists.
Even after unliking the post u will still comment and this people you are talking about will still post more of those annoying things.

Those people who keep posting annoying things are just a few attention seekers who want to be infamous. They could be frustrated by repented hidden posts and bans by the mods who would justify it by the obvious unpopularity being ignited.

Mynd_44:
How does a dislike feature reduce the number of redundant comments? I don't get it.

Just cos I got 100 likes does not make me want to type the same thing again and so just cos I got 100000 dislikes won't make me type crap again

Let's face it, not many people like getting disliked, so if you post an annoying comment and end up being disliked by a lot of people there's a good chance you won't repeat that. But if all you will get by being annoying is people quoting you you could just post something annoying and never return to the thread. That's my argument.

Usuals. Caucasian.

And now? What do you imagine him to be?
Nairaland / General / Re: Nairaland Needs Unlike Click by psky: 8:25am On Jun 12, 2013
Mynd_44: You guys keep missing the point here. This is a forum and hence the issue of an "unlike" feature does not come up. The quote feature is there and if you do not agree with a certain post, you should quote it and say why you do not like it, what is wrong with it and the way forward.

Just clicking "unlike" will create a situation where people will see a topic and instead of getting in a conversation to discuss an issue, they click unlike and walk away without bothering to state why and this can disturb those trying to learn from the topic

Then how come there is a like button but people still comment? The only thing it will do is reduce the amount of annoying and ridiculous comments like "1st to comment" "what is Obama, is it the name of a cow?" and so on, but sensible contributions will still be made, infact with less annoying posts more people will contribute as there will be less disgusting posts to put them off. Besides, people like posts and still comment on them, so it's all good. smiley

You mean the creator of the universe, the source of love and the source of all life. How do you expect me to have imagined such a being? Well, as a child, I just thought of God as Pure white light radiating with beauty and with glory that no eye can dare behold. I still have the same image till now.

Hmm...so you brushed aside all those pictures of God in story books? Pls tell me when you started envisioning God to be this white light, I mean there must have been some point when you developed such an incredulous perception of him right?

Romance / Re: Any Hope For Short Guyz? by psky: 10:38am On Jun 04, 2013
RedBenson: This is one digusting thing wit our ways of reasoning. The op said, 'any hope for short guys like me'. He never said 'any hope to have a relationship wit females' and all of u here are talking abt girls and grabs. What if he was talking abt hope in getting job i.e. a military job where one's height is highly considered? What if he was talking abt getting a contract that requires people wit appreciable height? Let's be specific pls.

@op, no matter ur height, i think there are great things u can still do in whatever capacity be it relationship, job and what have u. Just be ur real self. Dont fake! u can even use ur shortness to make amusement on people e.g. making a statement like 'as short as i am' while talking to people just to make them laugh and recognise that u are fully aware ur height.
The Lord is ur strength

Nothing do u mehn!.

You do know this is the romance section, right? And you do know the romance section is for posting about issues concerning romance right? undecided

Like I said, research. It also surprised me when I found out. And to the question you probably have in your mindgrin, no, I'm not short, I just think it would be nice if we stopped taking shortness to be a bad thing.smiley

Pvt. Parts:
No. If I ruled the world, I would have your type shaved, sterilized and disposed off.

You really need to do some research. As it turns out, it would be better for the world if we were all short. Short people live longer, have higher IQs, are less prone to fatal injuries in accidents, require less resources, and so much more. So please, don't deceive yourself by thinking shortness is a bad thing, cause it isn't.
