I can understand but this one is already in the public space for even the blind to see.

The case of the photographer in Abuja who spent 10months in Prison Prison for resigning from work via text message is a reminder. Nigeria has never been a place.

Why the coding.

The Beverage company is Coca-cola
Their drinks was exported by an Igbos businessman to Britain where it was seized and destroyed for being "not fit for human consumption". The man came back to Nigeria and sue Coca-cola for the loss.

Coca-cola told the Court that it was only meant to be sold to Nigerians and not meant for export.

Don't ask me how the case ended. This is Nigeria

safarifarms:
Na wa.

Summary is that anything goes in Nigeria. Some years ago, a coy sued a beverage coy for damages as the product was seized and destroyed when they exported it to a developed nation. The destruction was because it had excess of a particular constituent and wasn't fit for consumption. The response of the beverage coy was that they didn't inform them that the product was meant for export. Meaning they deliberately produce substandard for Nigeria. Same NAFDAG responded that Nigerian max allowed for the same substance was more than what is allowed in Europe however a test of the beverage and that of similar beverages in the country showed alarming inconsistencies among same products of the same coy and the quantity of the substance in the product and that of others was more than the Nigerian max value.

Things that kill us in this country are so plenty o.

No wonder our life expectancy is so low.

If Tinubu's economy does not kill you, police, bandits, kidnappers, careless health professionals may, or even the food you eat.

May God help us

He might be different. Let's try him.

There's no way the government can stop them.
1. They are always very much needed during elections
2. They pay tax to the government improving their IGR
3. The government rather interfer in the appointment of their officials.
4. They're well connected to the government of the day

Pay without a salary structure?
Even the level 1-5 they said is ready hasn't been found or seen anywhere.
Check, the increase may be LG as government at all levels rush to pay it to avoid being calculated on the new salary scale.

CBN governor, deputies get N10 billion bulletproof SUVs, jack up their allowances

Photo of Jerry Wright-Ukwu Jerry Wright-UkwuAugust 30, 2024 1 minute read

As Nigeria struggles with economic hardship and inflation, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor Yemi Cardoso and his four deputies have reportedly acquired bulletproof SUVs worth over N10 billion.

According to Daily Nigerian, the CBN officials have been spending extravagantly, including the purchase of ultra-modern armoured vehicles and an increase in their allowances, even as many Nigerians struggle with hunger, hardship, and inflation.

It is reported that Governor Cardoso recently procured six armoured Lexus LX 600 2023 models for himself and the four deputy governors—Emem Usoro, Philip Ikeazor, Bala Bello, and Sani Abdullahi—at a cost exceeding N10 billion.

Cardoso secured two SUVs for his personal use in Lagos and Abuja, while the other four deputies received one.

Furthermore, sources indicate that the officials already had armoured vehicles in their convoys before acquiring the new ones.

Additionally, it is claimed that about 20 Toyota Camry cars, each costing approximately N85 million, were purchased for CBN management and board members.

Reports also allege that the CBN governor and his deputies have significantly increased their annual housing allowances to around N1 billion, despite residing in official residences in Maitama, Abuja.

Moreover, they have reportedly upgraded their international travel privileges from business class to first class, with the cost of a first-class ticket from Abuja to New York currently around $15,000.

Their foreign travel allowances have also allegedly been increased, with each official reportedly receiving $7,000 per night during foreign trips.

The NISWC is yet to bring out the table of the adjustments based on the new minimum wage. Even the Salary GL 1-5 they said is ready is nowhere to be found.

Why not conclude your post without the usual APC feature? Why can't you be honest ? The Hon. Minister of Works said they have diverted to the original plan which will no longer affect the Landmark as it would have been.

By the way, has work started in Akwa Ibom and Calabar sections as directed by the President? This project is likely a Lagos project.

I can see. But NL is more than bastardized. You hardly read through a thread without the topic being derailed into ethnic quarrel.

The worst is that the Mods had been compromised. They even lead at the front. Especially when politics is involved, they want to swerve everyone to APC. But that can't work.

Items that are shipped directly to Nigeria has quality compromise. Remember we have useless regulatory agencies here.
