Explorers:
Earl Simmons, the gruff, evocative rapper from Yonkers, N.Y., better known as DMX, died on Friday at 50. He spent his final days on life support at White Plains Hospital in Westchester County after suffering a heart attack on April 2.

DMX was one of the most recognizable M.C.s in the late 1990s and early 2000s, years when hardcore New York rap could still stake a claim as hip-hop’s central concern.

Here are some Dmx top tracks of all time:

Phones / Re: Is Samsung Galaxy M21 In Nigerian Slots?? Can I Get It Offline?? by Randerl: 6:26pm On Apr 08, 2021
Jmw2kblogposts:
After going through all samsung phones, i finally selected the M21 because the price beats the rest and is still competitive in the quality and specs.

But the problem now is that i'm not sure if i can get it from a nigerian phone shop, i don't want to make orders online just to be on the safer side.

So does anyone have an idea of a phone shop i can go to purchase it or if you are a dealer kindly signify below with pictures of it just to be sure
IS SAMSUNG GALAXY M21 IN NIGERIA??

Phones / Re: USSD War: Banks Unblock MTN, Reconnect Telco To Banking Channels by Randerl: 3:21pm On Apr 04, 2021
Abuleoshi:

It is either you don't live in Nigeria or you are a financial illiterate not to understand cost of doing business in Nigeria has sky rocketed in the last one year, that businesses are looking inwards to cut cost and remain profitable.
Same period last year, dollar was N360, dollar is N485 today. Businesses are increasing price of products and services, Coca-Cola just increased the price of soft drinks to N120, fast food outlets increased prices of snacks, Hotels have increased prices of their room rate.
Telecos on the other hand can't increase Tariff like other businesses because NCC is regulating prices in the Telecoms sector. If Telecos can't increase prices, they need to look inwards to cut cost and remain profitable. Hence the sales discount reduction, this will go along way to improve MTN's balance sheet.
You might ask is it only MTN that is affected by the harsh business environment in Nigeria that they are reducing sales discount? The bigger the head, the bigger the problem. MTN is the market leader, so naturally they will lead and others will follow. If MTN is able to resist the banks, watch out for other Telecos to also reduce sales discount.

MASTAkiLLAh:
good for you, just know that this particular battle involves all the telcos. Banks are only using MTN as scapegoat. Where is the 42 billion naira banks collected on behalf of telcos via USSD charges and why are banks insisting telco customers pay an additional 6+ naira on top regular charges without paying off that initial debt ? I know MTN are a greedy bunch but this battle is for your own benefit. The regulators and everyone else is siding the banks because of kickbacks meanwhile, Nigerians are being ripped off relentlessly. Where is the 42 billion banks took from customers ?

Phones / Re: Phone Gurus In The House, I Need Your Help, What phone can I get with 12k? by Randerl: 7:21pm On Mar 26, 2021
BlueKiddo:
The title is quite self explanatory

Tho I admit that I've made a similar thread in the past (if u check my profile)

My budget then was around 18k, but one thing led to another and the plan didn't come to reality

In about two weeks or less, I'm hoping to recieve around 12k from a relative, but this money is for my feeding, allowance, transport fare, etc for 1 month (I am a student)

Nonetheless, I'm planning to get a phone with the money, so I'm prepared to go hungry for a while, I and my mom have been sharing her phone for the past few months, and I have to say, its quite frustrating

Our department has a WhatsApp messenger group and the course rep regularly provides us with updates about upcoming tests, exams, projects, assignments, lecture days and etc

Several times I've almost missed tests/classes if not for some few kind friends who remembered to call me up at the last minute

All of this is because I don't have a decent smartphone to keep in touch

I'm planning to get a phone with the following specs

Not less than Android 8.1 OS

at least 1gb of RAM

A decent amount of storage space

Good battery life

And this is very important, it needs to have 4g connectivity, my sister once used a 3g phone and judging from her experience, it wasn't a very good one, pages on chrome would take several minutes to load, messages would take hours to send.

Eventually, she got frustrated and sold the phone after just three months

I don't wanna be tied down.

So there u have it

I hope the 12k budget isn't too meager for the specs listed above, I need the phone even if its second hand

From what I can deduce, I might be lucky to get an Itel phone, but I have no choice.

I'll take what is offered

The money is still yet to come tho, and I'm not too certain

PS: For sellers on the forum, PLEASE my location is Port Harcourt, I'd rather have it that we do face to face transaction, I don't want sellers from other states, because I cannot take the waybill risk and eventually get duped.....the money is my last card and I want to be extra careful

Thank u all

At least with that #120k you can an iPhone 11 Pro max from reliable sources.
