Wow, Congratulations.
I do not think she would have a problem at the point of entry, rather your worry and prayer should be about boarding the flight, considering that she is close to delivering, you need to pray that she would be allowed to board unless she uses clothes to conceal, but agin they would ask her how many weeks gone is she.

Congrats once again.

Besides, when they get to the airport, they should go straight to the PORT HEALTH CLINIC by the post office at the "E" arrival and get a pregnancy certificste and present it with your fit to fly from your doctor. I think she should be fine. Hey ready to pay N1500 or N2000 there.

guys i posted this in the morning and someone replied to it... i really appreciate the person's opinion but i'd really love more people to comment on this.... some people i talked to are of the opinion i keep quite about it.... i don't feel good about doing that

thanks guys

It is better you declare it because these embassy guys are not predictable. If you tick "NO" and your medical report shows that you have the history of TB, then you risk being alleged of MISREPRESENTATION.

Our people should learn from what happened to some applicants last year when they ticked "NO" to question in the form if they have been refused any visa before and unknowingly to them, the background check conducted by the IRCC with the U.S. Data base revealed that they have been refused USA visa on the past and misrepresentation with 5 years ban was their verdict.
THIS KIND OF BAN IS AVOIDABLE.

Hehehehe grin , I laugh at the bolded words. What experience are you talking about here?
Sir/Ma, I crave your indulgence that you should stop dishing out misleading information here. If you're unsure about any question, kindly jump them and give relevant answers to questions you know. Don't claim to be right when you're wrong okay. Why do you keep on saying that the updated IMM5707E is wrong? After giving a link for you to check and an Attachement from cic webpage.

Lemia already testified to it and Ratawu of a moniker is still arguing what he/she is not sure off. Quite funny anyway.
@Ratawu nice job you doing here, but endeavour to give out information you have relevant answers on and not a guess work okay. I won't go further beyond what I have just said

All the best!

Nobody knows it all here. We are just here to share notes and ideas to help ourselves. WHAT WOULD I GAIN FROM GIVING WRONG INFORMATION?
I contributed to the question based on my personal experience at the VFS and that was my teacher. Truly, I completed IMM5707 from home and when it reached my turn to submit around 5pm since 07:45am, the VFS guy told me it was the wrong form and I had to spend another money to come the next day and filled the IMM 5645 with additional N3000 at their business centre. And when we argue it here, the concesus way forward was that because of the inconsistency of the VFS guy, people should go with the two forms and give them the one they want in which o totally concurred with.
THEN WHY LAMBASTING ME AS IF I WAS YOUR KID. Don't behave as if you know it all and we need to respect each other.
Thank you

Hello guys........is it a must someone from Nigeria must take IELTS exam before the person can go for masters in canada? Expecting replies urgently thanks.

NO
But if your choice university requires it for admission, you have to do it and meet up with the required score.
In general, most schools in Canada do not require language test for admission

Hello

I applied for my visa via paper route some days ago and I can confirm that the family Information form used now is IMM5707E.

IMM5645 is no longer used.

Then the VFS officials are misleading people. I initially filled IMM5707 and was turned down by the guy collecting after waiting for like ten hours there. I had to come back the next day to fill the IMM5645.
Don't let us argue over it. As somebody has suggested, fill the two forms and give them the one they want. They might be funny atimes

Ratawu & Frankrobbn1,

Thanks for the information. I think the upper hand that paper route offers is the fact that each application would be checked by the VFS official before submission.

Maybe it just makes sense to fill both forms, upon getting there, they, i will mention that filled both forms, because i wasn't sure of the specific one. I think at that point they should select the one that is the right one and remove the one they do not need.

Abi?

That will be the best move

Paper route would work better for me considering that I am applying with my company as the sponsor and i have a lot of documentation I am presenting.

But is it possible to submit passports and withdraw temporarily when I need to make the trip.?

Yes, you can submit your passport and later make a request for your passport but has some cost implications

Ratawu,

Always be updated before you dish out advise/information here. The family form IMM5707E which excludes adding siblings details is currently used by paper route applications as recommended by cic while the old family form IMM5645E is still used by online application, which I know soon it will be updated to this new one. None of this forms are fake, nor has the correct/wrong one in them as you've just said.

The attached will educate you more. If you doubt the attachment you can as well explore to this link:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/student.asp?countrySelect=NG#applications

All the best!

Experience is the best teacher. I don't just post any here if I am not sure of it. Don't let the applicant waste his money and time unecessarily. Since the applicant is doing the paper route, the VFS officials will not accept the family form you referred to from him and he will be forced to go and fill the correct form, that is the family form with siblings at their business centre which is somehow expensive.

hi guys,

i'm about to apply for my study permit and something is bothering me. so here's the thing ... when i went for my nysc in 2016 i was so unlucky to have contacted tuberculosis cry cry in camp.. we were about 250 in a small room and it could have been from anyone. i received treatment from june 2016 to april 2017 here in lagos.. i was on drug for more than 9 months.. but in may 2017 i was asked to stop the drugs that the tb cells were dead and i was tb free...i had series of test to confirm this and it all came out positive and since then i've been very fine. so now to my question

on one of the forms there was a question about tuberculosis in last two years.. i'm thinking of coming clean by ticking yes but i'm also scared it will raise a red flag.. please what do you guys think??

Tick yes and explain that it has been cured. Afterall, you will undergo medical test and the result of your test will take care of that

Now that study visa applications are being processed in Nairobi, would it be wise to still stick to the above address?

kindly advice

Address your letter to the visa office responsible for your country whether your application is processed there or not

Good evening all.. Someome is to submit password this week for TRV approved. And school resumes
September.

My question is

1.When does the Visa starts counting ?

2. The duration of the course is 16 months.. What will be the duration of the trv. Is it exactly 16 months, beyond or less ?

Did you mean passport or password?
For your questions;
1. The visa starts counting from the day it was issued.
2. The visa is just for him to enter Canada. The real study permit will be issued when he arrives Canada which will cover the duration of his program but if hos visa expires before be finishes his course and he want to leave Canada and return, he can apply for an extension in Canada.

Lol. cheesy cheesy No jnyuwa02. I posted just once and then re-posted when no one answered. Someone else was interested in the question and quoted me. We have to be tenacious in seeking and asking till we get answers so we can do the proper thing.

Yes I was also concerned about having to submit my original certificates. This whole application + forms issue needs to be streamlined by the commission as it can be a bit confusing to applicants. Thank you for answering as usual. You are really of great help.

You only need the photocopies except letters addressed to the embassy and your bank statement

BREAK DOWN BETWEEN ONLINE ROUTE AND PAPER ROUTE

1-)The online route no one will correct your mistakes like it is done on paper route where VFS workers will make sure your papers are complete and are arranged accordingly before submission.

2-) If you have scanners and a desktop/system close by, online route is okay. But mind u, u need to compress your documents before you upload them and you will need to complete payment with your credit card, but the paper route you are to pay at the counter.

3-)The online route, after submission you will get notification a day or 2 days depending at times 1week to proceed for your biometrics. While the paper route, you will complete everything that very day at the VFS office, then wait for the outcome of your application.

4-) Finally, Online route is more expensive (68K-70K) compared to paper route (55-57K)

So it's left for you to decide which best suit you. But be guided that none of them has added advantage to your TRV application.

Cc: Frankrobbn1.

In addition, prepare to spend the whole day at the VFS for paper route. Get there before 8am and by the time, U may be number 90s but you will do it. Although u may leave VFS office by 6 or 7pm. Get your form filled correctly if you don't want the Vfs staff to reject your application and u will have to come back the next day after spending the whole day there already.
Just tell the driver you are going to Ikate. Don't look for the third round about as they have have remove that third round about. Don't be misled by this round about
