GEJ means well. Everybody means well. The man is not capable is what we are saying. There is a difference between meaning well and being capable. Now this woman becoming president of gas exporting countries has some people congratulating her and GEJ without thinking.
Our LNG plant is supposed to be earning us $1.5bn a year, where is the money?. The NLNG taxes are also supposed to be about $350million, where is the money?. Also what is her agenda for gas exporting, the price is already down, Europe is buying from Russia which is the cheapest for them and only China and India really need our stuff so what is the point in forming a cartel in a market that is a buyers market.

Your case is different, I expect no objectivity from you. Besides your messiah as to stabilize the price of crude oil before seeking to understand what the gas market entails. What is your Buhari's road map? What is his manifesto? What is he planning to do differently? And if I hear anti-corruption from you then you have to tell me the day Tinubu and Atiku were crowned saints while Amaechi was sharing dollars on his behalf during APC convention.

To your question, the money is used in paying the overbloated salaries of your APC public officers.

tongue In your face haters

Ii have nno doubt in my mind that GEJ means well for a United Nigeria. His long term policies on agriculture, automobile, power road map, gas distribution projects, railways, education (alamajiri schools etc) and even the subsidy removal are all geared towards a prosperous future.

We Nigerians are so short sighted and only interested in immediate gains. The enemies of Nigeria are busy fanning the ambers of insurgency and anarchy ...... But if only Nigerians could quit emotions and view things objectively knowing that no messiah will come an clear our 100years mess in 8years..... Support this government and work towards better days.

Who wants a violent and war mongering. Old coup plotter and extremist for a president in a fast evolving delicate Nigeria.

Anyone asking for change from a man who had his chance 30years ago is either not sure what change means or outrightly rooting for a balkanized Nigeria.

Good development, the market will remain unstable for a while but I doubt Nigeria will ever recover from this in a short while. However, good learning for Nigerians ...... Don't be over dependent on oil.

GEJ started off well diversifying the economy by revitalizing the agricultural and automobile sector. He has also set the tone for the power sector by privatization. He wanted to open up Nigerian downstream sector by the removal of fuel subsidy but Nigeria revolted. The technocrats in this govt envisaged this and have done quite well attempting economic diversification.

My only appeal goes out to Buhari and his APC northern elements to call their bokoharam boys to order for this country to grow. If only these recycled previous northern leaders did their own part, we would have been long at this time. We know they are keeping to their promise of making the country ungovernable but they should understand that the Nigerian dream is greater than their selfish political targets.

Fashola is more corrupt than all APC stalwarts put together. Where is the 4.8trillion amassed by fashola in 7.5yrs? Why deport non-lagosians? Why put toll gates on existing roads? Why increase LASU school fees? Why refuse to sign FOI bill? Why are lagos roads in shambles despite the massive IGR.

PROPAGANDA CAN NEVER HIDE THE EVIL IN MAN.

I keep hearing this nonsense all the time. If the Militants blow up the pipelines how then do they hope to sustain a war against the might of the Federal Government for 30days? They will be completely wiped out. Do not believe the hype. The Federal Govt can still at least buy arms on credit with a promise to pay for it in the future, the Militants are not at liberty to do so. There are so many other variables, but the bottom line is blowing up pipelines will affect the militants more than the Govt.

You are so wrong. Bunkering will continue unabated. They will easily access arms from the black market. All odds are in their favour.

When they were acting as a rag tag army, the actually got Nigeria to its knees much more now they are more organised and have had sufficient time to amass arms. There is no way you will comfortably arm twist the creeks to continue looting a product at their backyard. ..... Not in today's Nigeria.

Are you in support of breaking of Nigeria? That is why allowing leadership of great country in the hands of creek boys is a disaster. Their sadistic ideology is manifesting everywhere. A hungry man is always angry, thinking that someone or some people are behind his misfortune. But the reality is that every religious person will always turn his problems to Al-Mighty God, The Sustainer, because He sees and hears anytime ...anyday.

The good people of Nigeria will never support division, killings and deprivation of people irrespective of their religious or ethnic background.

I can never hate my leader either a Muslim or a Christian if he/she is leading well. The Quraan and Bible taught us to follow our leaders appointed by God to lead us. What of those who rig elections and instead of leading us well do the opposite?!

Your sermon is coming rather late. All ends have been stretched.... Nigeria is at its elastic limit.
Some people promised to make country ungovernable and they are keeping to their promise. The creek boys have promised zero oil production at the exit of GEJ, trust them to keep their promise.

The national conference has set the tone for the way forward. Its either regional govt or outright disintegration. .. the former could be non-violent but the later can only happen through violence. .... we could argue all we want but the signs are all over.

Add the free fall of crude oil pricing to potential reduction in produced volume from militant activities and add bokoharam to the equation...then the pending anarchy coming from non payment of salaries and non-allocation to states....... Only the blind will claim not envisaging all these.

GEJ loses, Nigeria gets on its knees....... GEJ wins, bokoharam takes it a notch further. Choose your poison.

@ratiken The primary responsibility of government is to protect lives and property nd GEJ is more then failure in this regard or what are we talking about here, excuse that the north should call BH to order is not tenable it is the sole responsibility of the govt to contain BH. Gej should stop going about appraising himself as the best president when the country is the of state of war by BH.

If an enemy intrudes you abode in destruction, you will first attempt a fight and call for help. When help arrives, you would provide all support necessary to your help aimed at defeating the intruder. The last thing in your mind would be blaming the helper if you want the enemy out.

Bokoharam will not last one week if the north was not sympathetic to its cause. We've lost tons of young military men, we've seen efforts at buying more arms, we've lost helicopters and numerous arms.

Let me ask, will your so called Messiah fight Bokoharam with a different army other than Nigeriam Army?

We must all unite to support NA and the FG. We can complain and blame GEJ all we want but the trouble remains.

I repeat, anyday Buhari, Atiku etc wants Bokoharam ended, that same week.... Bokoharam will be gone for good.

Politics / Re: What Is The Solution To Nigeria's Problem? by ratiken(m): 6:24pm On Nov 29, 2014
Nigeria is not ripe for democracy. With a very corrupt judiciary, every sane policy will be over-turned.

Our democracy is very expensive, the money used in servicing the lower and upper house can put our education and health sector at world class status.

We are too divided to make and sustain effective policies. Every move is tribalized, criticised without any form of objectivity. This will continue unabated under current Nigeria structure.

Our politics is do or die, our politicians are desperate. Propaganda at its peak without plans for the Nigerian masses. The objective is same across all parties. ... loot until there is nothing left.

Our economic structure is unsustainable, fuel sibsidy has to go away..... its the single biggest platform for corruption globally. Foreign exchange rates are fixed and not open to market forces and shored using limited resources. Its unsustainable.

Nigerians are decieved to believe we are a rich country. We are a poor nation. With a population of over 180million, we need to at a mminimum triple our current revenue to make a reasonable income per capita. Unfortunately, leaders past and present loot with reckless abandon like the funds are unending.

I can go on and on...... the way out is
1. Regional government
2. Regional government
3 Regional government

This will make politics unattractive. Make leaders accountable. Reduce tribalism and mediocrity. Promote efficiency and objectivity. Open up the economic markets. ....... the benefits are numerous.

Zero funds from damaged oil facilities
Unpaid salaries and no more subsidy
Increased militancy in addition to bokoharam
Anarchy

Whichever way you look at it, Nigeria cannot survive under current structure beyond 5yrs. Something must change.
