Femi should shut up. He chose his path before elections. What has chapels and mosques done to leaders occupying the loft at the Rock? Please let us concentrate on governance related issues. Nigeria will be great again. We are on the path. Things may go a bit low, but we shall rise! |

Excellent piece. The intent for good governance is not enough. Government must be run with a detailed plan in place; absence of same will result to planning to fail. We may end up plugging all the loopholes and saving trillions of Naira; we however have to ensure that the trillions do not become worthless by the time we wake up from this developmental lethargy/torpor. PMB should enact the doctrine of multi-tasking. Appoint Ministers now and let key projects progress or commence while continuing with the fight against corruption! 1 Like |

When I remember how vibrant SUG and Student Parliamentary were those days, I can't help but marvel. Some students have already lived their lives complete as students. They run the SUG like elective posts under a major government. Extreme benefits like these in the main article are reasons most of them will rather remain in SUG than graduate. Legacy, Dr 3As, Akin all come to mind. Great Ife! 5 Likes |

Splendid political satire. In short, 99% of Political Office Holders under Obj and Jonathan should be jailed. Evidently, they all looted us blind. Include Amaechi, Fashola (still my best guy though) and few other APC polithieves in the article and it will be aptly balanced. No need selecting from PDP. The central government they ran was a charade of criminals. 2 Likes |

@ FlirtyKaren, The first ring I gave my wife when we were dating was bought for N1k up North when I was serving. She wore it until it faded. Today she wears rings bought directly from Italy & Dubai. It is necessarily not the substance of the ring that matters. It is the symbol exuded by the gesture that matters. She never loved him, hence her reaction.. 1 Like |

Dino the Zino.... Still vexing from the #NASS leadership saga. Our politicians are very childish. There will be no sportsmen in the world if they take cue from Nigerian Politicians. |

To be a father is not only by donating the sperm. A true father is anyone who takes responsibility for a child. Kudos to the adoptive father! |

Yes it can. It starts from a systematic and structured approach to develop a framework to identify what the requisite sustainable amenities will make us a first world country. It involves a cohesive approach to what the "Nigerian Vision" is. It includes studying other related countries who have broken the third world jinx; what did they do right? It involves answering the question: "What can we do to bring the world to us within a stipulated time frame". It lies in effective Portfolio Management Strategies. You may read my article my article on the subject: https://www.nairaland.com/2515377/projectnigeria-proposed-mock-timelines-short My 2 cents... 1 Like |

Kudos to Soundcity for their honesty and professional response. I concur absolutely with the reasons given; and their exclusive rights to air any video of their choice. Sometimes, life is not always about what you must get in return. Sometimes a little sacrifice is the best form of gratitude. Sometimes your best partners are the silent ones at the backhouse who support us at no fee but we often take for granted. My 2 cents! 108 Likes 3 Shares |

Kennydoc: I agree with most of your views. However, the APC shows that there was a concerted conscious strategy to hold the Party together for a cause, " to wrestle power from PDP", which they achieved. PDP must in similar vein develop a strategy to reclaim the mantle in 2019. The process may start from understanding the root cause of their loss beyond chanting propaganda. Secondly, there is a need to study what APC did to win. Lastly, need to study what the electorate wants and temperament of same. I agree with you that APC needs to check their supposed alliance before it consumes them. PDP's decay rate is faster than expected. The party's woes are more than that of a prodigal child. The continuous wailing by the leadership is ridiculous. They obviously did not save anything from their loots in cash or kind for the rainy day. No cohesion. A party disorganized in less than 100 days of losing power. Shame! I think they should study Tinubu's style of politics, take out the chaff, consolidate on the positives if they want a near rebound in 2019. Else it will be a show of disgrace. The party may end up being too broke to fund any electoral activity. Hanging PMB's portrait concerns them alone. The party's secretariat is of no importance to Nigerians! 18 Likes 1 Share |

dougivilla: Until I read PDP's apology, i also felt something was wrong with the decision. My emotions were premised on the headlines. The prompt pardon of political ex-convicts differs completely. If Biu had been convicted earlier and the President grants a pardon then he would have been said to have committed an act if folly. My 2 cents though. Nb: My mum was once wrongly accused 24 years ago. She just did not come home. She was apparently locked up for 2 weeks or more due to a fraud perpetrated by someone in her department. The trial started and lasted for four years before she was found not guilty and thereafter reinstated. It was a harrowing experience. Loads of her colleagues were quick to judge her at the time the trial was on! |

ShowYourCertificate: Lol. I am not certain it is Buhari's jurisdiction to take the decision. Guess the PSC should further elucidate on the basis for acquitting the accused. |

maxtamazin: Guess my opinion was subtle enough. It is weakness to throw a jab at someone who has not directly provoked such. To the subject, i agree with you that public perception may cite "insensitivity" in the reinstatement. However, if you read beyond the headlines, you will notice that there was a statutory panel of enquiry saddled with the responsibility of probing the sack. They found the accused not guilty. By law, will it be apt for the accused to remain accursed after being found innocent? If truly he had a hand in the atrocities, he would someday pay accordingly. Buhari obviously had no influence in this. If he made any efforts to interfere with the PSC's decision he would be termed a dictator by the opposition. |

bushdoc9919: I want to believe the PSC investigated and confirmed within human reasoning and evidences brought forward that he had no complicity in the escape of the notorious Kabiru. It will be foolish to reinstate him if still indicted.. |

@PM News Sometimes we have to let go of emotions when the agents of the law have taken a decision adjudged to be the most suitable. Biu was found worthy of being reinstated by the PSC panel, what can we say? If truly culpable, with time he would answer for his atrocities. If PDP can retract on this subject, then we all should let go! 5 Likes |

No wonder he has been defending the government and twisting facts in some instances. His explanation on the new Custom Boss did not make a lot if sense to me. I am sure if he was neutral he would have posited differently. His son Falz gets MTN endorsement; father inturn gets a Federal appointment. Congrats to the family. Falana is an erudite lawyer! 3 Likes |

MizMyColi: The reason why the Grade "A" is 70% to 100% is because there must be tolerance for exceptions. Conclusions and postulations from research works and surveys are drawn from most recurring assertions from respondents and necessarily not the views of all respondents. The penultimate poster (PassingShot) you responded to was right to generalize that "when the body is good, the whole body is good". This is a feel-good news for all Nigerians to applaud! 5 Likes |
