Asoozy: What do you mean by "he has shot himself in the foot by embracing his Igbo side"? Has he ever come out to claim he is an Igbo man? Is it because he worked in an industry dominated by Igbo? How did he neglect his Yoruba origin according to you? Your argument is so lame and lack basis. Good luck to him. 62 Likes |

Seems Nollywood ain't lucrative any longer, why are all these guys going into politics. From Julius Agwu contesting governorship position in Rivers state to 9ice running for house member representing Ogbomosho and now Desmond Elliott. Won't be surprised if I see Osuofia or Baba Suwe contesting against GEJ in 2015. 40 Likes 2 Shares |

Typical Nigerian, viewing everything from a tribal lens rather than merit. Why must people pull others down just because the result /outcome did not favour them? Shame on Oshikoya and his likes. |

bigtt76: GT must have increased theirs cost at a time it was N240 when Zenith was N450. Don't know about Union Bank ...though I would dine with them using a very looooooooooong spoon they're so archaic Seems it's been a while you walked into a Union Bank branch. Sentiment aside, they have one of the best robust Internet banking platform. The platform is very user friendly and one can even set up a Standing Order on it. Their UnionMobile app does not require any token before you can make a transfer. @topic, GTB is good but I think they are over hyped. |

Nigerians are indeed funny. We have seen Igbo village in Virginia, now it's Yoruba village in London, yet our cities from Aba to Ibadan are all in ruins. Why not think of how to better our land and make it habitable. The Americans and British don't give a fuccck about us. Yoruba village ko, Igbo community ni. 8 Likes 1 Share |

Politics / Re: CBN To Reintroduce Fee On Remote-on-us ATM Withdrawal by redsquare(m): 9:35pm On Aug 13, 2014 |
This Emefiele guy is gradually reversing all SLS policies. First was the removal of charges on cash deposits in excess of 500,000 and 3M on individual and corporate accounts respectively (Kudos to him). Secondly was the destruction of trapped debit cards (ATM) by the acquiring bank and now the reintroduction of fee on remote-on-us withdrawals. These guys keep making policies that are unfriendly to the masses. Why not reduce the lending rates by banks or make policies that will reduce inflation and stabilize the Naira? 4 Likes |

Travel / Re: FG Sites Green City Project In The City Of Onitsha by redsquare(m): 2:54am On Aug 08, 2014 |
Yeske2: You are making a mistake here, from your assertion Agege, Ikeja, Oshodi in Lagos wouldn't be Lagos but Lagos state and Lagos city restricted to only the island. Onitsha is a metropolis comprising areas like Onitsha, Ogidi, Nkpor, Awada Obosi, Oba,Ogbunike(partly), 3-3,Nsugbe, Atani road Ogbaru, Okpoko etc. Remember that Onitsha township is just enu-onicha, Fegge, Woliwo, Odeakpu, GRA, Omagba and housing estate 3-3 all within Onitsha north and south LGA. Nkpor or even Awada are far bigger than the two LGAs.So we are talking about a metropolis here and these outlining areas are where the bulk of the population lives. Same for Lagos or Abuja or any other big city. Gbam. Going by his analogy, only Lagos Island is Lagos, Port Harcourt is just PH township and areas like Diobu,D/line,Rumuokoro and so on are not PH. Agreed, Onitsha is just Enu-Onitsha but today Onitsha metropolis consists of Nkpor,Obosi,Ogidi,Nsugbe,Oba,Iyiowa Odekpe,Nkwelle Ezunnaka,Umuoji,Ogbunike and so on. 2 Likes |
Romance / Re: Which Should He Own First: Wife Or A Car? by redsquare(m): 8:42pm On Jul 31, 2014 |
It depends on the age of your friend and the kind of work he does. If he is a banker/lawyer and lives in a place like Lagos, with the crazy Lagos traffic and transport system then he needs a car. But if he lives in a city where it is not so difficult commuting to/fro work then he needs to settle down if he is of marriage age. Mind you none of the 2 is easy to maintain. 2 Likes |

They are very reliable. I used them to get my orders last December from T.M. Lewin. I reside in PH and it took about 2 weeks from the date I made payment into their account to get my goods. Their charges/commission is moderate and their customer service superb. I recommend them for anybody making purchase from any UK shop. |
