Is it always funny to hear that there is economic recession in Africa, given all the economic and developmental opportunities that are waiting to be tapped into.

There is no government in Nigeria to make the country work. What you have are a bunch of extremely greedy individuals stealing all the resources that should have been used to develop the country.

They rob themselves of what they have in the name of becoming foolishly wealthy forgetting that fools can never be rich. Regardless of how hard they try.

All constructive and brilliant ideas to stop this current cheating is welcome. Our resources are finite too. You can not keep your own 100% and be dragging our own with us. Let us collaborate by reciprocity. If you don't give us from your own, you will no longer have ours. The current system is not sustainable and it's a recipe for serious problems today and in the future.

You guys tend to forget that Nigeria is supposed to be a young country. Nothing stops a Yoruba from going to Enugu to establish. There are many thriving Yoruba property development businesses in Asaba right now that I am aware of. We must strive to progress rather than retrogress as a people.

The biggest issue is that the politicians are stealing the resources that were supposed to be used to develop the land.

Lagos is financially attractive because it's currently the commercial capital of Nigeria, every smart businessman wants to have a stake there. But that could change if it becomes a hostile ground for investors.

Reality3080:
u igbos rejected ruga on your land but claiming another man’s land is no man’s land

You should have thought of a leasehold agreement before selling your birthright for a pittance. We don't sell our land, instead we lease it to investors or use it productively for ourselves.

Land belongs to the government and the hard-working people of Nigeria. Who the cap fits, let him wear it.

These bastards crying foul are stuck up in jail-like houses all over England living like cockroaches, and if Whiteman refuses to give them the hell holes they live in, they will be quick to claim racism and discrimination.

Man, stfu, you old git.

What do you mean by “so-called indigenous scroungers”, you primitive cannibalistic monkey? You’re an utter disgrace to your children and you need to be flogged for the idiotic statement.

Most of you are poor and destitute but you keep running your filthy mouths and Twitter fingers. And you will definitely get what you’re begging/asking for one day. The ones that engage your stupid bigots aren’t the ones you should be worried about - the quiet ones who don’t say much are the ones you should fear.

The fact is that your kind is unfit to be called humans that is why you are stuck in the past. You need to open up your ass-licking tribal mind to understand the meaning of a country, constitutions and laws.
Politics / Re: Lagos State Indigenes In Diaspora Ask Sanwo-olu To Adopt England’s Property Law by redsun(m): 1:55pm On Jul 01, 2023
If they apply the Nigerian Land Use Act of 1978, those so-called indigenous scroungers in Lagos will realise that the land belongs to the government and the people, regardless of whether the person is a native or a coloniser. They tend to disregard that aspect of Nigerian land law because they are profiting from the sale of so-called indigenous lands.

You cannot have your cake and eat it too. If you must be a part of the world of 21st-century society, you must adopt new ways of doing things, otherwise, you will be left behind. The rule must be adhered to for Nigeria to be considered a country.

Foreign Affairs / Re: Uganda's President Museveni Explaining How The West Destroyed Africa by redsun(m): 1:37pm On Jul 01, 2023
It's what Fela calls colomentality. Africans, including the buffoon president himself, are puppets under the control of the puppet masters.

You can take control of your destiny when you lack common sense, and that is what is completely missing in Africa today.

You engage in such deluded and babaric behaviour becuase the the country is still firmly mired in the dark ages, which is a direct result of the leaders you have to continually ruin your affairs and keep you on the wheel of retrogressive evolotion. The country will never progress without rational leaders in place to make rational decisions that will move the country even upto 19th century standard.

Some of you may think you are in the 21 century becuase you have access to oyinbo made technology, but in reality, you could be said to be living in a premordial age when humans have not yet developed the ability to reason.

Expecting a rogue government to fight corruption is like expecting Jesus to come from heaven to execute the rapture you muderfuckers are hoping will save you from your misery of fundamental ignorance. ..most of those countries where pms is expensive don’t make use if pms. What they use is cng. Example of where i have been to are India and ghana. Indonesia. Only few private cars run pms. Also they do not make use of generators.

Don't mind the preneolithic animals. Their primary aim is to recoup the money they used to steal the people's mandate. They should be more concerned with what they do with the crude oil and the money they generate from selling it. The only thing Nigerian suffering masses use to benefit from the country was probably the so-called fuel subsidy, which made the price of petrol relatively affordable.

Since this irrational measure was announced, life has become ten times more difficult because almost everyone relies on petrol to survive in Nigeria, given the country's dark state.

Steel processing is the foundation of sustainable industrialisation. Many parts of nigeria are still in the stone age, and that is what is holding the country back. Running a country is not about stealing, looting and hoarding.Rather, it is about being creative, resourceful and productive.

But why are we still going to other regions to develop their land after having all these pleasant blessings? Who did this to us please? Lekki is expensive because of Igbos, Abuja is bubbling - Igbos patronage. Why shouldn't we do the same in our own place? May God deliver us!

A colosal failure of leadership failure. Every politician in nigeria is the same, regardless of the regions they representative. They are gang members whose sole objective is to plunder the people's resources. Correcting the proplem of nigeria is not going to come from the presidency, rather it will come the grassroot, the local governments.

To hell with the president once the people are smart enough to choose who will goern them locally.

Water fronts in lagos have tranformed into agberos havens and market places, thanks to Tinubu. It no longer fun to visit beaches in Lagos. Igbos should focus more on investing and developing their regions, instead of getting stuck up in the mega slum Lagos.

Lagos without the socalled non indigenes will be like ileife.
