That's how the system is, when it is 2 or 3 months to 3 years, it would be calculated as 3 years.

If ITA is gotten within this period, you won't submit until after 3 years is actually completed.
But I thought the information you enter suppose to be accurate before you enter the pool as that would be the basis of one getting ITA?
Why then would the system calculate it as 3 years based on the details I inputted before ITA, only for me to then wait till it gets to 3 before submitting my application post ITA?
So if I get ITA now, I have to wait till March to submit, is that it?
I'm confused pls

05/2015 - 05/2016 = 13 months
03/2019 - 11/2020 = 21 months
11/2020 - Present = 2 months

36 months
Wait oo, that first one is NYSC biko. Isn't it supposed to be 12 months? My certificate carries that date (May to May)
The others; I ended a role in November and started another role in the same organisation, same November
Please help. This is confusing.

Yeah, but the EE system is giving me points for 3 years nah
How is this possible?

Please I am back again o
I just checked my profile now and saw that the system calculated my work history to 3 years experience. 3 years is meant to complete in March, and this made my score jump to above 470, from the 440 I was calculating with the simulation using 2 years.
Please help me see this work history for me:
1. 05/2015 - 05/2016
2. 03/2019 - 11/2020
3. 11/2020 - Present

I don't know how the system is re-calculating it to 3 years, when I know it would clock 3 in March
Should I be worried?

Please guys, I know this has been answered before, but I can't seem to remember the page number nor the answer.
How do I get the reference letter of a defunct company?
The company in question has been taken over by the parent company, sort of and I still speak with the manager who now manages the new company.
How do I get refence for the old one, seeing it no longer exist technically?
Please someone, help me!!

Please guys; does TRF number change with writing IELTS again with BC?
I recently re-wrote the exam. Result is out, but I haven't received hard copy yet and I want to edit my profile with the new result.
Will the new TRF be different from the old one?

Hi,
You don't necessarily need a 6 month statement since it is a gift deed, if the transfer was done recently you can just do a month SOA to show the inflow of money from mum to ur account.
NO, no need for an affidavit as a gift deed is a legally binding document already esp. if notarised.
Cheers

Hi,

But is it safe to use 100% gift deed from one's mom? I'm in the same shoe but my funds are tied up in different places and I don't want to start explaining the lump deposits into my account, but if it's from a gift deed, fine since I'll notarise it.

Would it pose any challenge if it's 100% gift deed even though applicant is a worker?

Hello House,

My 6 months bank statement to show proof of funds (gift deed) is over 30 pages. Should I go ahead to scan and upload, considering this is a lot for any VO to scrutinize?
Does gift deed require 6 months bank statement?

First name and last name, that's it
But some pages back, I raised the same concern and one of the elders here advised I put my first and middle name together.
Cos I know it reads first and last name, but I have 3 names on my passport, middle name inclusive.

Which one is it?

No, this is USD not CAD. She will convert the CAD she needs to USD, which will be around $2200+ in USD

O! I see.
So to pay with barter, one needs to have already converted to USD?

You got no other option. Just use flutterwave

But why are they using US rate for payment that ought to be in Canadian dollars?
From my understanding of these rates, isn't it mean to be eventually converted to Canadian dollars via cross rate?
Using 480 is too much na. Is 480 CAD now equal to 1 naira?

They convert to USD first and get the cross rate for CAD, abi nor be so?

Or are we being charged for USD for a payment that ought to be in CAD? That would be cheating and wouldn't be fair

Cos I'm not understanding oo

Please I have an uncle in Sask (citizen, we bear different last names). I'm not using him to claim points since he is not my sibling.
Is it necessary to include that I have family in Canada when filling the form/creating a profile pre-ITA? If I say no, could it count as misrepresentation? And if I tick yes, would they ask for his details and for me to submit some documents?
I don't wanna use him to claim points cos of the potential stress of getting documents

What do I do?

SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP

You’ll have to reach their customer service because last time I checked they said no visitors allowed in their premises, we had to send a dispatch to drop off trf. Things may have changed now though, just email them I’m certain they’ll respond to you as to the alternative method to pickup
Thanks so much.

Please how long does it take for the hard copy TRF to be sent over, assuming its CBT, BC?
If my contact address is my house, how will it be delivered? Courier?
What if I don't answer the call? Can I get it from their office and will a mail be sent to me to come get it?

Yes I'm using a GTB Naira card and what I'm paying if converted to US Dollars is 185$ not up to 200$. I've tried my UBA Naira card as well and still I have not been able to make the payment. Any suggestions on how else I can make the payment. My bank UBA doesn't offer Western Union Transfer.
Try Access mastercard if you have

You could update your first name to include your middle name so that it matches your documents....there is no middle name field.

I didn't quite understand the family section you were referring to. If you are pre ITA and this is just your profile, I think this probably refers to just you...as a single applicant. Post-ITA you will have a chance to list your family (parents and siblings) in the relevant section.
God bless you

Mmamaroon:

I believe the next field allows you to choose the exact family relationship e.g. parent, sibling, grandparent etc..... I may be wrong though.

You can say "yes" and select "uncle" or "not applicable" if "uncle" is not listed. If neither "uncle" nor "not applicable" are listed, then you could alter your response to "no"....my take is that they are not interested in that specific relationship type.

CRS points wise your uncle doesn't add any points to you (unless you're you get nominated by a province where having family can help you get nominated) anyway.

Thank you so much. I have selected the uncle option.
Something else please; how can I edit my name? It asks for first and last names and still asks me to verify if the name corresponds to what I have on my passport.
My passport bears my middle name, same with other of my documents.

Then the part of how many family members do I have. I'm a single applicant. Do I say one or list my parents and siblings? The bracket only has spouse/partner and children. Is it safe to add parents and siblings?

So sorry for my questions. I just don't want to make a mistake

Hi Mmamaroon, please assist.
I'm filling my EE form (pre-ITA) and the option of family member came up.
I have an uncle in Canny, different surnames and I'm not using him to claim points. Do I tick yes or no for family member in Canada?

Thank you all for the help. I tried again today at Ikoyi passport office. Started with the NIN. I was given a number tag. After which we went in for capture. Then NIN slip was printed. I laminated.

I took it to servicom. I was given some papers to photocopy. Iwas also told to photocopy my passport page and the NIN slip I was given.

Proceeded to going to different offices for signatories. Then another capture for the passport reissue. I was told to come back after two weeks. Pls is it possible to get it before then? My travel date is 14th Dec.
Mine took 5 days to get ready, and up till now,I didn't even receive any mail from them that it's ready. I was on the island and just decided to check, and it was ready.
I'd say check in in 7 days. It should be ready
