Thats why I said "notification of result" in place of certificate. He doesn't have his certificate, he never collected it. If we had the certificate we wont have gone through all this.

We paid for transcript July, and August we got a contact because no progress. We asked the contact guy to help us with the statement but he insisted we send it with the transcript and he lied that it was sent, this was in August/sept. He also lied they don't give paper copies, I really don't know what his aim was because it makes zero sense why he would lie about that (after paying him 15k).

Package got there Sept 10 and they only updated transcript was received, we told him and he kept insisting it was sent, then he stopped picking calls then strike happened, then back and forth calls to WES and they double checked, then there was protest break and then we now got someone else to do it and the person found out it had not even been processed at all, even after paying for it 3 months prior (Unilag is useless like that) and we got the copy of the notification of result some days after and uploaded it last week by ourselves.

3) I have 3 years experience including NYSC, but just 1 continuous yrs of experience but I want to claim points for 3yrs,hope it can work..and for the case of proof of payment via the place u work..is the proof of payment via bank statement just for like 6months back or a year etc,how many months or years do de ask of from ur bank statement when applying thankss

After about 4 months of back and forth and lies (even after paying a contact), Unilag just sent notification of result (in place of certificate) last week even though transcript has been there since 10th Sept. and counting 35 working days would mean January for ECA and i turn 30 in January
Our score this week with husbands IELTS is now 474, we were projecting WES to be done October if not for Unilag's rubbish and now CRS cutoff is getting higher, so upset sigh

Why not upload your certificate by yourself?
I did mine with Unilag. Applied and paid for transcript online and uploaded my certificate directly on WES' portal.

Okay thanks... What about if I get to learn French language. The simulation I did with the CRS app you can't add both IELTS and French to sum up ur score,seems you must pick 1. So if I max IELTS without simblibg support my score would be like 468 or 470 bkaux I dont intend waiting for her. I'm thinking of taking French so it can sum it up to 478 or 480 but the App dosent acknowledge 2 languages. How did it appear on your birth certificate and other documents?
I really don't know how you are going to resolve this.
Maybe you should try getting a new birth certificate, but how will that explain Ezekiel in the other documents? Or swear an affidavit.

Just be prepared for the possibility of conversing with someone that has a foreign (British, American or Australian) accent. If you had noticed the error before biometric capturing. It could have been easier to fix, tho it will cost money

I'm very sorry about this problem. Unfortunately, they are right. Nothing can be done at the moment about this. Correction of error has been on suspension.

Please do not pay another money for reissue, it will amount to same problem. The permanent card will still not be released.

Wait till when correction is possible. While you await that, you can keep going for extension of the temporary copy.

Here is my predicament:

I have applied for a new DL in Lagos, but on printing my temporary, it was discovered that there was a mistake in my gender. I am female, but male appears in my card. I complained to their oga who said there is nothing they can do and that I can only change it when I want to renew, which is like in 5 years!

Today, I went to collect the permanent, since they said I should just manage the gender like that; only for them to say permanent cannot come out because my gender has issues and that I will have to pay again for re-issue, which will be out in like next year!

Please what can I do?
The gender error is no fault of mine, and I cannot imagine paying again for something that wasn't caused by me, but by them!!!

Guys, finally applied for the passport and got captured today.

Once I got through the gate, everything was seamless.
Although the payment issue tried to raise its head again, it was resolved.

Wasn't even up to two weeks. I was on the island and thought to just go there and see if it's ready, and voila! it was.
But mehnnn, collection na war! Maybe because I didn't get there on time. Got there around 1pm and waited a while, they didn't come to take the slips from the bowl we kept them since for them to check inside for the passports.
Luckily for me, I saw one of the officers I met at Servicom and explained my plight to him, and he asked to give my slip to another of his colleague who went in and got my passport. I thereafter activated it and left there around to 3pm.
