some people here have been asking questions about the implication of a 1year study visa (PGD) and a 2 year study visa (masters) in relation to the duration of work permit and PR after school. i remember someone analysed this in detail towards the end of part 7. MEVISBLEEK i think, not so sure. i already did a lazy search and couldn't find it. please guys link me to that page. i want to add that link to the list of links here. cheers***

Thought the same too, but it's been over a week and not even a "Medical report under review", it's like the cycle is repeating, my last year application, I was called for medicals, did it, did the second one and nothing ever came Untill I was refused over 6 months later.

You seriously need to keep that Prayer promise, my village witches are powerful, I'm sure they are at it again (it's no joke) that would be the only right explanation.

shocked shocked really??

Where did u read that one?
Please read the rules again

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/study-changes.asp

read changing institution or program. I made a mistake though. He just has to notify immigratiom through my CIC.

Here's part of the rule

Changing institution at the post-secondary level

If you applied for a study permit to attend a post-secondary institution after June 1, 2014, you must notify Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) via your MyCIC account every time you change institutions. You are not required to apply for a new study permit when changing institutions that are at the same level of study (e.g., from a college to a university).

For example, you must notify CIC if you submit a letter of acceptance from the University of Ottawa when you apply for your study permit but then transfer to Carleton University once you arrive in Canada.

Not to attack anyone on this thread but guys guys, lets be nice to newbies who come asking ridiculous questions here. To be honest, some of the questions are ridiculous but nobody holy pass, some of these guys are totally new to using the internet for research and have absolutely no idea how to go about things.

Your comments here go a long way to break or make people. Please be nice to them and if you have to tell them to go to recent threads please say it nicely.

I must commend all my ogas here and my people awaiting medicals. God bless you all for your contributions

To the newbies, please learn to research a lot. If you want to go to canada for studies, you have to learn how to research. Google answereth all Internet questions.

God bless Nigeria, God bless Canada and God bless you all. Happy sunday.

Impossible is nothing! From my experience, people have self-sponsored themselves for PGD and Diploma prog. to Canada on this forum. I also got medical call in 2011 as a self-sponsor(still in Naija though) and I was single. Though I wrote a convincing SOP and I have good hometies which I explained on my SOP.

out of curiousity. Why are you still in naija ooo. Did you fail your medicals

Pls house, from the CIC website the processing times in weeks. Nigeria was 51 do they means 51 days or wks I'm a bit confused. I'm applying for sept 2015 intake. I need a guide.

but come to think of it, i think CIC actually meant 51 days. because that fits the average time people get called for medicals in here.

please house can some1 who is 28yrs sponsor himself for college in canada ? he finished o level 2005 and neco 2008.. the question is the gap between then and now ..how can someone covered does gap pls....??

hello friend, you are 28. and you only mentioned wassce and neco. i am ASSUMING what you want is to go for an undergrad course in canada. and you want to self-sponsor.

ok i really don't mind what your age is at this point because for you to say you want to self sponsor, you must be into oil and gas... period tongue. so yes if you are into that much money, you can self-sponsor and also be ready to write a killer SOP because for me, i believe no age is too young to go for undergrad, and the V.O knows this too. you just need to convince the V.O thats all.

and that business giving you so much money, you need to prove to the V.O that someone would take over and keep it up an running to prove as home tie.
