Notsonasty:

Nda helpline said maths isn't compulsory

Really ? I ' m so happy to know if there is Mathematics being compulsory..
What about for Biological Sciences ?
I hope Mathematics is not compulsory in both JAMB and NDAEE.

Did the HELPLINE say it is not compulsory to choose it as FIRST CHOICE like every other year ?

My question hasn ' t really been answered on the issue of 1st choice and Mathematics.
1. Is Mathematics compulsory in only NDAEE or also in JAMB ?
2. I have friends that have been choosing NDA as 2nd choice and would change it to 1st when they get admitted and they are cadets already, can I do the same ?

I need responses, please.

It's compulsory you put NDA as first choice but you can also do a change of institution in case NDA doesn't work out. Just that you might not get the institution you want (as they might have written their post utme before you know your faith) study your compendium for the NDAEE. I believe you'll smile this year cheers

Thank you so much, bro'.. Trust me you ' ll reap the fruit.
Are you an aspirant or a cadet ?
Education / Re: Nigerian Defence Academy Admission Processes..........68-76RC by ricoric: 11:27pm On Jan 11, 2019
Thanks for those great responses, guys.. I really appreciate.
Is it true MATHEMATICS is compulsory ?
If yes, must I pick it with Use of English, Mathematics and other pertaining 2 subjects in JAMB or only in NDAEE.
Education / Re: Nigerian Defence Academy Admission Processes..........68-76RC by ricoric: 3:52pm On Jan 11, 2019
This is my 4th year of applying for NDA and since then, I haven ' t been able to reach any sort of stage, I weep every year..
I can ' t risk NDA in JAMB and fail not to be admitted into any other higher institutions of learning because Federal institutions only allow FIRST CHOICE in JAMB and here comes NDA requesting us aspirants to make them first CHOICE.

1. Is a must FIRST CHOICE for NDA in JAMB true ?
2. Is Mathematics really compulsory in JAMB and NDAEE ?
3. Does the COMPENDIUM really make getting admitted into the NDA easier ?
4. Can it be chosen as the 2ND choice ( Q - 1 ) ?
5. How do others get admitted easily ?

I ' d be glad to get responses to these questions.
Education / Re: Nigerian Defence Academy Admission Processes..........68-76RC by ricoric: 3:41pm On Jan 11, 2019
Xslaze3xd:
On the issue of wether maths is compulsory or not,
JAMB: Register the subject that is applicable to your course of studies because it is not possible to write maths for all courses in Jamb.
NDAEE: Follow the instruction in the booklet.

P:S my number is no longer reachable, I lost my mobile.
To reach me, send me a pm.
Thanks.

I ' m still getting confused so much in many explanations in here,
Are you also dejecting the fact that we might not offer Mathematics in JAMB for NDA ?

Yaronmama:

Yes

It's already too late bro. Pursue ya university ND apply for 71rc, pray though they might change the requirement ND allow u guys to write d ee

I have all the requirements and I chose NDA but as the 2nd choice.. I think the only problem was that, my date of birth on the WAEC Certificate doesn ' t tally with other documents and the NDA application form.

Do I still have hope ?

Yaronmama:

Topmahn:
I'll advise you to try and get admitted into a conventional school to stop wasting time then next rc if age is not a barrier u get d form giving up is not an option. I myself Last year jamb i chose Nda as my first choice i wasn't selected i then changed to unilag and was admitted nd now in school i still got the Nda form which I know I'm going to be selected and admitted by God's grace and mercy.

We seem to be following the same path, man!
I just got admitted to UNILAG last year, to reduce the long time wasting.
What faculty and department are you, bro ?
I think we can meet up.

CaptainStephen:

Hello sir.

Can my papers be signed in any Military cantonment apart from my state of origin because I ' m in Lagos presently and I am from Ibadan ( Oyo-state ) ?

And must it be my local government chairman that must sign my form or another chairman from another state can help me sign.

Waiting in your swift response.
Education / Re: Nigerian Defence Academy Admission Processes..........68-76RC by ricoric: 9:41am On Feb 12, 2018
I heard the registrations date have been increased..

It is true ?
Education / Re: Nigerian Defence Academy Admission Processes..........68-76RC by ricoric: 9:31am On Feb 12, 2018
CaptainStephen:
We dont have senior officers from Oyo state here. The main person i would have connected you to is Maj.Gen Adeosun but it wont be possible due to his new location. If you are in Ibadan go to adekunle faguyi cantonment MRS, met the clerk there and explain your plight in a respective manner. The CO there I think(not 100% sure) is from Oyo state. She is a Lt. Col, but if she is no longer there, still ask him for directions. please take your acknowledge forms along so they will let you in.
N.B: Don't go there saying you want connections first oh, say you are looking for an officer to sign your forms. goodluck

Thank you, sir.
Can I have your number ?

I posted here few weeks ago that I needed a Military personnel of high rank to sign my form to guarantee a thorough admission..

I ' ve been getting diverted from such thought on Nairaland here.

I was actually adviced by a retired Military man to do that because without such, there wouldn ' t be admission and it has been happening for years.

I ' m confused.

Education / Re: Nigerian Defence Academy Admission Processes..........68-76RC by ricoric: 10:47pm On Nov 30, 2017
Please, my brothers in here, I have some questions to ask and I need different responses from all possible angles to be so sure.. I ' m studying ( Education Biology ) in UNILAG and I have failed to be admitted to NDA 2wice and my ambition is to become a Navy officer but not a low ranked one, I would have went for its recruit.. I heard any NDA graduant gets the ( Lit. Colonel ) title and those that have Degree ( 4 years university course ) before going for the 1 year course of vigorous training also secure the Lit. Colonel title - 1. How true is this ? 2. Do I stand a chance of securing the Lit. Colonel title studying a course like ( Education Biology ) after the Short term service ( 1 year training ) ? 3. Is there payment of school fees in NDA ?

Your bro should calm down....
I made 298 in the UTME and I wasn't shortlisted. NDAEE questions were really cheap to me...
Such is life bro.
I felt like committing suicide when I saw the list,it looked like the world was going to end。。 I scored 250 and still some with 180 got shortlisted, after the NDAEE which was so simple,I did not get atleast less 30 marks in each subject and still couldn ' t make the list,a sad DAY,BAD experience!!!

Congrats to those who made it. To those who didn't make it, put it behind u that the world richest men aren't no military personnels. Purely civilians.
Today is the saddest day of my life and only God can console me,as much as I suffered and still can ' t find my name! I read like there would be no tomorrow but still 。。。。。。 I don ' t think joining the NAVY recruit is the solution but I may obtain the form to console myself。
