Car Talk / Re: As A Car Owner The Greatest Embarrassment That Can Happen To You by Rinoxy: 10:26pm On Sep 16, 2023
I had a car I drive almost everyday for 3yrs plus. I sold it due to a private issue. People kept asking, 'where's your car? What happened?' Some even felt things have gone bad for me financially that I couldn't maintain it anymore. I notice it on their faces when I hang my bag going to work. But what they don't know is that my income is far better now than it was when I had the car. By GOD'S grace, very soon I'll shock them with my next upgraded ride.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: How Much Salary Is Enough For Good Living In Nigeria; this Year 2023? by Rinoxy: 9:51pm On Sep 11, 2023

You don't stay in lagos.
Normal 2 bedroom apartment in a good environment is basically above 1m per year. That's 5 months salary.

Totality of children school fees could be 150k minimum. Three terms a year is 500k.

Do the remaining maths.
But my brother, I think there are different areas for different income levels, aren't there?

200k isn't actually enough for a family.
You're totally wrong. Even in Lagos 200k a month family can get by normally.

Put only money you can afford to lose there.
Opay is no longer in app store and play store, the day I know that, I became very sketchy about them.

I'm careful about it too.

Peugeot is a region dependent car... It depends on your location, if in lagos, Abuja, middle belt and most of the northern states, yes its actually not a bad car, however in the south south and south east, it would be a problem since you'd experience a scarcity of experienced mechanics.
Oh, okay. I'm based in Kaduna, home to PAN.

As a first timmer... The Camry i4 is your best bet, it'll help you learn proper car maintenance and tame the need for speed thrill to a point. Plus maintenance is cheaper considering the country right now
Sir row2ray, that means me getting a 307 manual is good maintenance wise abi?

Economics states that where unemployment is high, the crime rate will be high. Know this and know peace

Your producing 100s of 1000s of graduates yearly into a dead country. Dont expect miracles. Expect fraud
True, crime rate would be high, but the criminals should also get ready to do the time. Know this n know mega-peace.

Good one.

I understand that the economy is hard, but taking to crime is a no no.

Let the youths get involved in handwork and other useful activities.

The government is not helping out much, but we also need to build ourselves too,so that when the opportunity comes calling we can benefit.
You're blessed for this sensible comment.
