Politics / Re: My Question Is Why Is The North Begging For Nigeria Unity? by robotix: 9:45pm On Aug 17, 2018
Lilisticlili:
The most annoying thing about the country is that Hausa/Fulani are afraid of disintegration and will never allow true federalism. The country is so backward just like the northern part of Nigeria.
Go to the north and the real meaning of suffering and agony, that is the only thing they have in stuck to offer the country.
They don't have natural resources,no human resources,no technological advancement,no western education,no exposure, their life's depends on oil money nothing more.
How can you say you love Nigeria but never give room for people to discuss the best way to live together as a people.

Britain will never allow self determination in contraption country called Nigeria because of its interest...
That reminds me, if you think you have gotten independence in 1960, sorry it was paper independence... You need mental and physical emancipation from devilish Britain.

Lalasticlala;
Who told you they do not have natural resources? I may not like them but I am yet to see one who is lazy, aside the ones who beg.

They actually feed this country in terms of Agriculture. Their undoing is illiteracy rate and religious inclination. Some times, I wonder if their religion is their ethnicity or tradition,I mean where is their tradition or custom long before they were lslamized

ss/se will be locked down for who? You people don't know what we mean when we say no more elections throughout biafra land forever and ever. ipob comprises of 98% of the people living in biafra land except if the 2 remaining percentage will be the one to do the locking down for pdp in which I believe they will only be party faithfuls..... They are just a drop in the ocean when compared to population intakes. I have said it times without number on this platform, any political party that will depend on biafra people to win any election in this zoo will not only loose here on earth, she will also loose in heaven. Any party that want to win apc should carry their evangelical mission to middle bet cos that region is so gullible they can fall for the gimmick of party oratory proneness but as biafra land, Nigeria has lost us. we are gone for good.

True talk. All the political heavy weight in the country will always remember the sacrifices they made to defeat buhari and will readily backed an igbo presidency in 2023 for their prominent role. By trading the VP slot they may stand to gain a presidential slot in 2023 in PDP based on zoning.
who do you think you are fooling? So if atiku wins now, he will step down for an igbo man in 2023? As in rule one term? U are joking...

Say something else and I will accept as long as it will remove Buhari but don't try to play on our intelligence as Igbos just lure us to give the slot to the south west with hope of getting presidential slot that you know no winner will like to relinquish after one term.

I believe our sensibility should be respected please. Don't insult us any further.

I can agree that the igbo should let the presidential slot go for now till 8 years expire for who will win via PDP just for the sake of removing Buhari... But don't you try to make it look like we a silly.

I see people who jump into hasty generalisations as daft, dumb and stupid. If your mother, sister, girlfriends are like that doesn't mean the average Nigerian girl is like that.

I personally have never expected much from any guy and have never dated for monetary gains and so many of my friends are in that category and nor have I ever been on dates for food as I treat myself to nice meals in restaurants whenever I feel the need.

We could say the same for you men who act too authoritarian towards your Nigerian gfs beating them and thinking its your right to cheat. Other men do not Lord over their gfs that way but I'm not saying all Nigerian men are like that. There are good ones.

So my point is this, identify the good one and stick with him/her because all these rants are senseless . Thank you!

Madam Abi Na Oga I go call you, you sef no sabi English. When someone say "average Nigerian woman"... That is not generalization. That is statistically speaking, after much surveys, some Nigerian women...

Politics / Re: Why Do Igbos Hate Buhari and APC? by robotix: 7:01am On Aug 04, 2018
EmekaMD:
I have the answer to this question.

First of all igbos didn't hate APC and Buhari before 2015.
We simply had to chose between Jonathan and Buhari/ APC and PDP. We only had to chose one and we did..
Jus like the North chose APC and isn't being accused of hating Jonathan and PDP.

When Buhari won eventually he should have realized that the campaign was over, that who ever voted or didn't vote for him didn't matter no more. That what mattered was an inclusive governance and a Nigeria where everyone is made to feel belonged.

But being so filled with vendetta and hate, he chose to vilify the Igbos and the south south. He made the infamous 97/5 percent speech - what a dumbass.

And to cap it all. His subsequent appointments and body language saw that Nigeria didn't get along anymore. He single handed divided Nigeria. Blame it all on the Buhari who is so bigoted.

And if you have some thinking ability you'd acknowledge that during election every citizen had the right to vote and not to vote a particular candidate, but the candidate that eventually won becomes the President to all. He has no right to chose whose president to become and whose not to become.

Buhari isn't jus smart.
He had all the opportunity to unite Nigeria and to include everyone after all the divisive campaign ran by both APC and PDP then

@lot13 can you see you are evil just like your Buhari?

Some ladies love cooking, I am one of them. Some of us volunteer to help cook for parties, family, friends and colleagues. It is our way of showing off our culinary skills. I am even cooking for my boss today.

If I visit you and you POLITELY tell me to cook, I will be happy sef. I love cooking and cleaning, I am not doing it for you to fck me or marry me.

Do I go to guys house to cook? NO. Simply because of the mentality of people like the OP and Lucifer. If I go to a guy's house to cook and he tries that, I will leave and that would be the end of that friendship.

I wanted to tell him to stop taking advantage of ladies. Nigerian men and sex... But to take care of the product now, it becomes a night mare. See all the morons littered everywhere in the country that can lead a country just because some stupid parents couldn't do their jobs well.

Only a foolish man would use his hard earned money to sponsor a girl through school with the hopes of marrying her.

Who the hell does that these days when the chances of her sticking with you in the future is slim! I'd rather use that money on a profitable business with a very high return on investment. I can't be doing the job of your parents all in the name of love.

You ask who the hell does that? Who else except stupid igbo men? I am yet to see another tribe engage in such wastage. My first encounter with this madness when I was around 7 year old was also an igbo man called Ndubisi who was spare part dealer at Ngbuka around surulere...

Subsequent stories I have heard have all been igbo men and the one shared by the OP is clearly an igbo man too. What a miserable way to spend your hard earned money.

you are silly if you allow what happens on nairaland make you talk like this.

I will give you 3 instances:

I am igbo and my best pal is Yoruba guy. He guves4me good advices when need be.

I am igbo and a Yoruba lady I met on nairaland I was good to her when her dad was seriously ill and I rendered financial assistance to her numerous times so much that when she met her new man, she told him about me and how I was very kind to her. Mind you, I have never set my eyes on her until I needed medical assistance which her man tendered with his connection at Ife.

They are in the know in my current venture and business model which we all will work together to succeed as well.

Yesterday my fellow igbo brother , since October last year, told me for this first time that he helped a Yoruba man collect loan worth N2,000,000 for his business. The man has not paid and my bro hasnt been able to sleep since. This thing has been eating him for some time now and I had to force him to speak... Which was when he opened up.

he told me that he did cos the Yoruba man was very good to him when his boss left area to move to Lekki and he no one else.

I know the man personally because he took me earlier this year to go check one of the man's land which was intended for sale. It was yesterday that he revealed that the land is for sale so that the man can raise money to pay back the loan as his relationship with the lender is jeopardized except he pays back the money.

He said the man was reinvesting the money back into the business as he was being paid for the contract until all of a sudden, the contractors stopped due to some checks to be done. If he had known such will happen, he would have released the some part of the money paid to clear the loan. So right now the Yoruba man is trying to raise money and my igbo brother can't sleep.

Get your sass off Nairaland...

If it makes you even sadder, My family has cocoa plantations in choiced states in SW , we the educated ones just don't go there often to avoid being winched ... Known fact, so on that part, i am not one of those you categorized

What happened to the ones they planted before? it was sold, generated income and families share the income and reinvest it , that's how it should be , i do not know how your grand parents or parents did their own, but as for mine , that's what they did , they made profits, they got richer, Nigeria exported and kept it's ranking ....

Like i said , Running away is for cowards, leave the country , but make sure your travel is legit otherwise you'd be one of them who constantly come online to show us prisons and videos of them drowning or them being tortured as slaves and need to be bailed out

You are funny. Do I look like someone who would travel illegally?

I am an entrepreneur and current states of mind that the masses have can never make this country move forward. it is not cowardice bro... It is about my sanity and that of my kids.

And if I am leaving, Rwanda looks very very inviting... A friend recently came back from there for expository travel to survey the place.

He also hinted on their coffee export business... And I thanked him for sharing it on facebook because my target is to venture into exports. Finding buyers for such produce will not be hard for someone like me.

I have similar plans for Nigeria but sincerely, I care about my sanity more than anything. It would have been better if some folks who claim to be educated were not supporting mediocrity but that isn't the case. I can't live with a people who live and breathe average life.

The future has left Nigeria and Nigerians already or you think you can confidently proclaim the giant of Africa in current dispensation? Bros, no let small African countries laugh you o.

Either way, I appreciate your concern... I deserve better and I have a right to a better life.

I don't intend to travel to develop country of the west cos I have no business there as an entrepreneur... Africa is where things are happening... If you open your eyes to spot the opportunity.

And while June 12 should not be an object of ridicule by people who politicized and condemned it , Running away from the country and calling others stupid isn't the solution either , if you or your parents and your great grand parents had planted Kola during their time , i guess nobody would have overtaken us ... if you plant your own Kola or cocoa today , you will be part of the solution , So instead of running your mouth with anger and blaming Buhari for all your woes, Do something, Contribute !!

Fork off... Plant which cocoa? What happened to the ones planted before you and I were born?

I am not entirely blaming buhari or did I mention Buhari anywhere in my previous post? I am blaming you and your likes who are comfortable celebrating mediocrity... The ones who ar okay with average life.

If you demanded better results from your leaders, there won't be a person like Buhari in the firs place.

I repeat I will leave this country for you all cos the last thing I want is being a mediocre and being okay with averag life. Keep making excuses for Buhari.
