The generosity of Angelina Jolie really has no limit: the goodwill ambassador of UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) has confirmed exclusively to E! News that she had opened a school in Afghanistan.

Jolie chose to fund this primary school reserved for girls in an area outside of Kabul, an area that traditionally favors the education of boys than girls.
Angelina chose this village in particular because of its high density of refugees: local conflicts have forced people to flee when their homes were destroyed, but since the fall of the Taliban regime, families slowly starting to return to these areas previously affected.

Former Head of State and national leader of Congress for Progressive Change, CPC, General Muhammadu Buhari, Wednesday threw some ‘darts’ at President Goodluck Jonathan, saying that the Boko Haram sect was a creation of his administration.

President Jonathan, through his Senior Special Assistant on Public Affairs, Dr Doyin Okupe had on Tuesday challenged the retired Army General to persuade members of the fundamentalist to accept peace talk as a means of ending the endless and senseless killings in the North.

Okupe had also asked Buhari to emulate the role Jonathan played by going to meet militants in their vast hideouts in the Niger Delta to plead with them towards a successful laying down of arms and to gladly accept the general amnesty granted by the late President Umaru Yar’Adua on June 25, 2009.

Angered by Jonathan’s attempt to ridicule his person, by linking him with the dreaded sect, Buhari had asked the presidency to leave him alone and find possible means of resolving the Boko Haram insurgency, which he said, was borne out of the failure of his (Jonathan) administration.

The former presidential candidate in the 2011 election replied Jonathan through the National Publicity Secretary of the Congress for Progressive Change, CPC, Mr. Rotimi Fashakin, that it was wrong for the Presidency to keep telling him to call Boko Haram to order when he does not have any relationship with the group.

Fashakin said, “It is unfortunate that a presidential aide referred to the legitimate desire of a statesman as inordinate. Away from the uncouth posturing of Dr Okupe, it is apparent that this fellow is conflicting two unrelated issues and scenarios.

Universal Channel (DStv 117) on MultiChoice's DStv pay-TV platform erroneously broadcast an "obituary" of Remembering Madiba on Tuesday night about the frail elderly statesman Nelson Mandela - who is very much alive - the TV channel is now a profusely apologising for the "technical error"

However, the TV Station has since released an apology.

A parish Reverend of an orthodox church in Bariga, Lagos has become incapacitated after a strange fall at the entrance of his church. It has turned into a bone problem on which all his money is being expended.

“I used to have many members, but by the time I returned from a long treatment I discovered I was left with only five church members,” he cried out.
Pastor Amos Oladipupo, a father of two, told Punch that since the sickness refused to abate, his church members had also abandoned him.

Narrating the incident amid tears, he said, “It had just rained that day, and I wanted to take something outside. I suddenly fell on the pavement at the side door of the church.

“I initially experienced a little body ache, but I ignored that because it was expected after a fall like that.

“I became worried after the pain kept increasing. It became so unbearable that I had to see a doctor who told me it was rheumatoid arthritis, a critical bone problem and that I would require an operation”

Asked if he had not prayed on the matter, he said, “Many pastors and prophets together with some church members have had vigils and prayers for me. I think it is their prayers that have sustained me till today.”

He said he had struggled with the condition for three years with pain killer drugs until his doctor advised him in April 2012 that he might not survive the trauma if nothing urgent is done to save the situation.

Pastor Oladipupo, who hails from Abeokuta in Ogun State, is appealling to good Nigerians to save him from dying. He said, “I cannot walk, I crawl with my hands to enable me move around, and life is really unbearable. The doctors said I need N1m for the operation to save me. I don’t have a kobo. Nigerians should help me."

She is in her 30′s successful, happily married with 2 kids, my husband loves me so much in fact I don’t think there’s any man like him.

He has a younger brother called Dele. We are very good friends even I do call him my younger brother he just finished his youth service and refused taking up any job on the ground that he has not find the one that suites him.

Of late Dele started coming to the house to demand money from my husband it got to a point that I said to myself this is becoming too much so I decided to have a chat with him thinking I could talk some sense into him.

After having a word with him he thanked me and said he was going to wait for my husband to arrive because he needed some money coincidentally when my husband arrived he said he has no money, Dele then left the house angry.

I tried calling him back to at least give him T-fare but he just walked away. The next day when my husband left for work and my children for school He showed up at the door on letting him in he started yelling at me calling me all sorts of name accusing me of preventing my husband from giving him money.

I tried explaining but he won’t listen, on leaving the house he said he will show me. That night I refused telling my husband just to avoid further tension between him and his brother.

To my surprise the following day he showed up again this time on opening the door for him he just pushed me, I staggered off my feet to the floor and got up. He went to the door and locked it up with the key when he came back he said he has come to show me.

I was terrified I pleaded with him again trying to explain but he pushed me again this time I fell on the couch, he came on me at this point I knew what he was up to, I tried fighting back but the woman in me was just so weak, he finally had his way inside me and he ended up molesting Me he didn’t even care despite the fact I was on my period, I felt so bad and dejected I wept but no way to fight back. That evening when my husband came back he noticed I wasn’t feeling too well but I tried covering it all up because I don’t just know how to tell him about the incident.

Just last week Dele came again and this time the same thing happened again he r**ped Me for the second time, am so traumatized I don’t know what to do.

Should I tell my husband? What if he doesn’t believe it was r**pe don’t you think my home will be destroyed?

Can someone please tell me how to at least stop this guy because I’m scared it will happen again for the third time.
Please I need your advise on how best to go about this.

BlackBerry has become a status symbol among students. Undergraduates in Nigerian universities are notorious for sending BBM in classes and networking through social media and chatting and spreading information.

Miss Toyin Ajao, a 300 level student at the Lagos State University, Ojo, once wrote this BlackBerry text message phrase while answering an examination question – d soln 2 d ans’ in proper English would be written as ‘the solution to the answer.’ This mistake almost made Ajao repeat the course.

Mr. Seun Ogeye, a student at Covenant University, Ota, Ogun State, said on one occasion, instead of writing this phrase – the chemical, when combined with gas, wrote ‘d kemical,wen combid w gas’ during a semester examination. He said the error was noticed just when he had five minutes left to submit his answer script.
