Now I know the reason why this people changed their tribe name from Eebo/Ibo to Igbo, it's just to fit into Yoruba history.

Sorry, Igbo is a Yoruba word for Forest or Bush!

The money made from the ports and companies is first, we all know where oil is in Lagos and Ogun and they will start producing and must be paid right now cos there are states that their oil are on the page of newspaper only, nobody knows where the oil is located, but are getting paid already cos of politics.

kernel504:

I agree with your first comment, but Lagos and Ogun are not contributing cruel to our daily export. Just like most Eastern states, they have oil, but is not been exploited.

You won't recognize them with your one dimensional view ofcourse, but I will help you.

You see the one standing 3rd from the right is Kunle Afolayan, is the man that sneezed once recently and your whole tribe was down with flu for a month and some will never be healed. That's how important those in the pix are.

I don't have balls that anyone can hold on to, let alone hold.

I trust Buhari to get it taken care off.

The people's voice must be heard.

Chest beating roach at it again!

I know what will happen, you will put the ports on your heads alright and take with you to Biafra, but the problem is, the ports have stay on your heads as you don't have any ground to put them on.

Igbos are in control of the 90% importation of goods into the country,so don't mention the south west has port...

I wish it can happen like that, but the power that be, as there won't be any reason for the country to be together, and the offshore oil within 200 nautical miles would pose problem on sharing formula.

There's oil somewhere up north now and Kogi is NC. What about gold and gemstones? Agriculture alone is even enough for the north. The only area that will suffer is the SE, landlocked and no land to grow, the small 2*2 Square mile land is being threatened by erosion.

What difference does it make? You know resource control will never happen with Nigeria intact, this is the next best thing. If I have the magic wand, I will break Nigeria into 5. We are all just pretending to be one, it will never work!

They pay the taxes to the FG and some miniscule fees to the state, unacceptable! Pay 13% of what you get from my land to me, as simple as that! You don't get anything, you don't pay anything.

Politics / Re: Ayiri Emami Urges Buhari To End Amnesty Program For Ex Militants by royalcatier: 7:41am On May 02, 2015
Oil producing states and every state that is bringing large amount of money into the Federal purse must get the 13%.

nsyforreal:

Good morning, going thru your post I stumbled into the 13% derivation which you said Lagos and Ogun are not getting their share.please correct me if am wrong.is 13 percent derivation not for oil producing states.if that's the case,Lagos and Ogun states do not qualify for it.

Thank you.

yes he is right, but he refused to let people know that most of the slaves yoruba sold are mostly ibos who were conquored by the yoruba slave lords.
Politics / Re: Ayiri Emami Urges Buhari To End Amnesty Program For Ex Militants by royalcatier: 7:18am On May 02, 2015
The ports have been before the oil, so money from the ports, Oodua investments, cocoa and groundnuts developed the oil.

chukwudi44:

Oil money was used to develop the ports and not vice versa.Nigeria gets over80% of its earnings from oil. That is the main stay of the Nigerian economy and not even ports or companies which can also be constructed anywhere.

Tomorrow the FG can decide to build ports in onitsha, calabar, ph or ibaka, companies can also relocate if conditions become unbearable but same cannot be said about oil deposits

They are oil producing states too, and will soon be declared, plus what is being made from the ports and the taxes from companies.

He will stop it, crush the noise makers with federal might and nothing will happen.

why should Lagos and Ogun get 13% derivative? Are they oil producing states? I dare GMB to stop it and see a new fiGht on his hands

FG has used money that could have been used to build 10 ports in developing the Oil, I'm sure you know the local grave diggers didn't drill the first oil.

Oil brings money into the federal govt just like the port and the companies do.

Lagos and Ogun have oil, please tell me where the oil in those SE states are?

This is apple to apple, let the Fg drops 13% of anything they get from any land or scrap it. And where nothing is gotten, nothing is dropped!

chukwudi44:

FG can rather decide to build ports in other regions, please stop comparing apples to oranges please. Yes there is oil in imo, abia and anambra, the only sw state that has oil is ondo.
