Health / 16 Year Old Dies Hours After Consuming Energy Drink And Coffee by RxH8: 7:28pm On May 17, 2017 |
Davis, a 16 year old apparently health and active high school student was declared dead on April 26, just hours after drinking Cafe latte (a popular form of coffee drink), Mountain Dew and an energy drink. According to reports, he passed out after complaining of lightheadness during art class in his school in South Carolina, USA. He died 70 minutes later despite medical intervention. The cause of death remained a mystery until the further investigation revealed that he died from drinking too much caffeine, too quickly. The report revealed he had no known medical condition and was not involved in the use of alcohol or drugsAccording to the coroner, Gary Watts, he had “caffeine-induced cardiac event causing a probable arrhythmia”. This means that caffeine intake from coffee and the energy drink was sufficient to make his heartbeats irregular, causing it to stop beating eventually. At the press conference, He said “This was not an overdose. We lost Davis from a totally legal substance. “Our purpose here today is to let people know, especially our young kids in school, that these drinks can be dangerous, and be very careful with how you use them, and how many you drink on a daily basis.” This sad news has raised fresh concerns about energy drinks which are generally considered safe and heavily consumed by active adolescents and young persons. Men can deal with the stress of infertility by engaging in healthy activities like exercise, writing or pursuing other wholesome activities. Rather than bottling up their feelings, they are encouraged to share with loved ones. Some may also need to seek counseling or other forms of mental health support. www.healthx24.com |

INFERTILITY IS TOUGH ON MEN TOO,STUDIES REPORT. Johnson and his wife have been trying to have a baby in the past 5 years. After several tests including semen analysis, and hormonal assays, they are now ready for the first cycle of in-vitro fertilization (IVF). “This period of infertility treatments has been very challenging” says Johnson. Globally, up to 50 million couples experience infertility. This inability to conceive takes a huge emotional burden on women. And men too, as shown by different studies. www.healthx24.com |
