As a lover of Education, I wish to share with you some of the positive impact I and my colleagues have been doing in the realm of Education here in Nigeria.
Firstly, with introduction : I belong to a voluntary organization called Teach For Nigeria and I'm one of the 2020 Fellows.
Teach for Nigeria core vision is to ensure every Nigerian students has equal opportunity to Quality Education irrespective of their environment.
In the environment where we teach, it is a responsiblity of Fellows to look at one problem and think for possible solutions to overcome it.
Four of the fellow in this community came together and decided to solve the issues of road crashes among our students .
We have decided to have a project and carry out some sensitization.
Here are the cost of executing our possible solutions to curb road crashes among our students.
1. Establishing Road Safety club
2. Sensitization of the road users
3. Construction of speed bumps at the entrance of the school
4. Drawing of zebra Crossing line at the designated location
5. Mounting of Sign post.

Budget to execute our plans
Paint- 3pcs (34000 x 5) = 170000
Brush and Roller = 3700
10 bags of cement (4100 x 10)=41000
Ropes and line = 5850
Sand and granite = 54000
Rod for traffic sign post 5pcs (5 x 4500) = 22500
paper tapes 3pcs (1700 x 3) = 5100
Total = 302,150
