They gather toooo much information about you ( your mail, browser history, contacts list, google query, keyboard pressed etc). They know more about your internet life than yourself. The challenge then is that, system get hacked all of the time Infact in IT, it's a common slogan that their is no such thing as 100 percent security online. That being said, with the amount of information they collect about you, what happens if it gets in the wrong hand? You could be blackmailed, private life exposed etc and government can also request for your information at any time to use against you and government as we know is just as corrupt as corruption can be.

Google keyboard : everything you typed ever
Gmail: every mail you've ever sent or read
Chrome: every site you've ever visited

Evolution is real. It is not enough to judge events that over millions of years by just the knowledge of 2016 years. Evolution as a concept/theory is more than just human evolving from ape or fishes which there are fossils to proove by the way these way we have fossils proving dinosaurs existed. Our evolution from ape is more like us and apes sharing a common ancestor by the similarities in our Dna not really monkey changing to human.
