*sighs*

If we attach the same importance to condemning bad governance as we do to this LGBTQ issue, we wouldn't be in this shoddy state we're in.

I have given up on explaining to people that Homosexuality isnt a disease. This country is way too riddled with senseless folks to even attempt to begin.

As you can see, even the so called Educated are supporting their acts on this thread.

What hope is left for this country sad
no.mind them as if they r one bit better than any of those homosexual guys

I would love you to use yourself for the experiment. Come out from school and serve if your age above 26 then come back and share the type of job you get. Perhaps that will bring the needed encouragement. You want me to tell people what they want to hear? Then wait forever.
you need to get sense!!
is it their fault that jamb has frustrated 70% of Nigerians?? is it? is it their fault that even if u make it in jamb(score above the cut off mark) sm1 doesn't still get admitted into school?is it their fault that ur country is so fuc ked up that for someone to enter school u either do runs or use connection?? is it also their fault that even if sm1 enters the school strike comes knocking at the schools door which makes students stay longer than the normal yrs they were supposed to stay,so tell me,which of this is their fault??if they had their way do u think they would hv wanted even one of this to happen to them?
instead of u to encourage your brothers and sisters u r here saying after 26yrs one can't get a job so wen they start stealing and doing other things to get money nko?u will still be the first to talk human nature!!!!!!! come to think of it who says one can't get a gud job after above 26yrs?? I hv friends who finished sch at that age and working its only mostly banks that do that age limit simply becos they want to take advantage of those naive young ones who they pay 50k to mk them wrk out their a s s for a salary worth 100k.
and also for number of yrs of retirement that's all!!
try and get sense and stop talking anyhow u dunno if ur son will be one of the unlucky ones to finish sch at 26 and then u can tell him to just stay at home cos job don close for him

You don't have to regret going to school. If you are from a rich and connected family then you can go to school with the hope of gaining a well paid job. But if you are intelligent and without connection, go to school with the view of discovering something to contribute to the society in exchange of huge financial returns . If you are very intelligent, then make a First Class, stay back in the academic society and lecture to transfer knowledge. Ignore all of the above, then you graduate to queue up for the very narrow to nonexistent chance for merit - that is if you are lucky to come back from NYSC before 26. Stay away from faith, face reality.
so people who didn't do NYSC before 26 nko??
they don't get Jobs again or wat they shld kill themselves?? pls stop sending wrong signal u hv heard he wrote jamb from 2009 to 2013 that's 4yrs then add another 4yrs that he'd spend for school........instead of u to say something better u r here say if he is lucky to come bk from NYSC and ppl who were not lucky nko they won't also queue abi? becos their degree is Worthless abi!

Education / Re: 10 Things That Happened During 2017 UTME Examination by samJ17(m): 3:06pm On May 26, 2017
Gurusblend:
Just like joke, 2017 jamb commenced, almost all candidates have seen their results, some with higher grades which is 201 to 400, some with average points which is 180 to 200 and some with lower grades which is below 180 lol.
However, 2017 UTME examination was full of fun, controversies, funny but critical conditions, let's review 10 things that happened during 2017 UTME examination

1. Candidates unable to generate pin during registrations, this caused a lot of chaos at some CBT centers which resulted into candidates exchanging dirty words or exchanging blows, in some states candidates beat the hell out of security officers, it's quite funny when seeing photos of Jambites at cbt centers unable to generate pin.

2. Exam slip re-print, though its funny, its still under critical conditions, JAMB had earlier promised candidates that they will receive their examination slip through their email, it failed due to how slow jamb was, candidates started running to cbt centers to re-print their slip, if you are there you will witness so many situations that will make you want to crack your ribs..

3. Jambites who sat for their exam on the first day were unable to check their results till tuesday, some them were already panicking, if you get close to those candidates, you will see how funny they look.

4. Jambites scheduled to sit for their exam at LAUTECH ogbomoso were unable to sit for their exam due to lautech strike, some of them were chased out of the CBT center, their appearance alone will make you laugh out loud, but under such conditions you will pity them..

5. CBT center in lagos shut down systems before the actual ending period of exam, the invigilators at the CBT center told candidates to go home. One of the candidates said she was the last person on roll, she just typed her Registration number when the systems were shut down..

6. Candidate brought gun to the examination venue, this quite funny, is he going for war or for an exam? gun at the examination hall, the candidate just forfeited his right to sit for the exam, too bad..

7. Jamb deduct 100marks from candidates score, if you read the message that was sent from jamb to candidates, it looks like it's fraud because there were too many errors in the text message, though it indicated that jamb was the sender, on seeing this, candidates started panicking, jamb later debunked the rumor..

8. 11 people arrested for trying to hack jamb's portal in order to copy questions, solve it and use the same portal to upload answers through their client's registration number. their clients/candidates on getting to the exam hall, they will type their registration number, the answers will be uploaded already, they will just have to review their work and submit without doing any thing at the center, but the hackers failed, though they were not the only ones doing it.

9. Jamb to add extra 40 marks to candidates scores, candidates that failed 2017 jamb tried to give themselves hope by circulating fake news of extra 40 marks, jamb later debunked the rumor, some of them started crying..

10. Candidates who scored below 180 started hoping for miracles, those candidates were also looking for schools that will accept their score. Imagine, someone who scored 110 in jamb asking which school will accept that kind of result or which course he can study with that score, you can just tell the person to go for SUNDAY SCHOOL and study NATIVE DOCTORS. abi? na only God fit accept us no matter how poor and dumb we are...
Nigerians!!!
number 7 and number 9 You are so wrong jamb stated that they never sent anyone any text saying 100 marks has been deducted from their score and ppl shld be aware of such and jamb also said that they haven't and not planing to add 40 marks to anyone these two things didn't happen thus were rumors but I guess u didn't do research well enough

Some schools require you to have one african language in both waec and jamb, while some require just arts and social science.

Go through this page, you'll be duely guided,,

the school I want to go doesn't really require language,so is English, literature crs & commerce good to go?

You’d find yourself laughing after you have finishing reading the article, i took time to stressed out the types of students you will find in an exam hall!

1. Expo Guys
Only the name will tell you what this set of people are up to, about 60% of the entire students in the exam hall belong to this group, these are the people that bring the expo to the hall, before distributing it!

2. Big Boys
I would have used the heading “Lazy Guys” but then this one fits them better, these set of people wait for the expo to fly from heaven and meet them without working it out, they are too lazy in the exam hall. 20% of Them out of 100%

3. Christian Guys
Lol!! The heading is funny self, you know what these guys are up to now, they are the ones that will solve the question with their brains. 5% of Them out of 100%

4. Expo Hustlers
This set of people normally don’t pay for expo neither do they sort out the supervisor, they are the “back-sides” waiting for any means to grab the nearest “runs”. 15% of Them out of 100%

Having said all these, which group do you belong to?

NYSC / Re: 5 Reasons Why NYSC Should Not Be Scrapped by samJ17(m): 12:01pm On Apr 19, 2017
corpersforum:
After the Nigeria Civil war, the NYSC scheme was created to reconcile, reconstruct and to rebuild the country.

After the Nigeria Civil war, the NYSC scheme was created to reconcile, reconstruct and to rebuild the country. The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) was established on the 22nd May, 1973. NYSC was established with a view to the proper encouragement and development of common ties among the youths of Nigeria and the promotion of national unity.

Recently, there have been rumours that the NYSC scheme has been scrap by the federal government. Even though it was a rumour, many people would love to see it happen. Today, we will be telling you five funny reasons why NYSC should not be scrap. DO Not Forget to Join corpersforum.com

1. Cultures/ Tradition
Do you know most youths have not travelled out of their state of origin or resident? Scrapping NYSC will prevent most youth to experience or learn other cultures. I recently finished my NYSC program of which I served in Anambra state. I can vehemently tell you that knowing the culture and tradition of the Anambrans changed my orientation towards the Igbo people and increased my love for business. There is always something you will learn from other cultures and traditions.

2. Alawee
#19,800? That's too small! Only feeding will consume more than half of it! I won't lie to you, I also complained about the money. But do you really think if NYSC is no more, you can get 19800 every month after finishing school considering the Nigeria economy? This small alawee has saved many youths from begging money from parents, uncle, friends after school. I can tell you that many youths don't even get up to that alawee in a month after finishing their NYSC. Do you know the money most people saved from their Alawee is what they use to survive after NYSC before their dream job? It might be funny to you, but it is true.

3. Life Partner
I don't need to tell you that many people met their lost rip during the one year NYSC program. I can still remember the song we sang at orientation camp ''When corper marry corper them go born ... wink''. So many married people met their partner at the orientation camp, some at their PPA and some even met theirs in the host community. A lot of persons might not see their missing rip if NYSC is scrap- funny but true.

4. Job Opportunities
We have talked about Cultures, Alawee, and Life partner, let's Talk about Job opportunities. During NYSC program- Most graduates are fortunate to work in an organization where they are being retained after the one year program. Apart from your PPA, there can also be several job openings in the community or state where you served. Scrapping NYSC will deprive so many of job.

5. Experience
NYSC program serves as a good platform to gain experience. 70% of corps are being posted to schools which is also a good place to gain experience. I don't need to tell to include it as experience in your CV.
