Yeribanza women are bad tempered and very promiscuous.

Is that what attracted some of your Igbo leaders like Emeka Anyaoku, Ben Nwabueze, the immediate past foreign affairs minister etc to have them as wives?

You are just a non enti.ty.

Security is beyond that.

This vehicles are for their personal use, to move around, calm their subjects down, ensure that their spheres of influence are under control and reach out to the government of any impending trouble spots.

Its more for a good PR between the government and the indegines.

Dey joke, they forgot Wike is a lawyer married to a judge and practiced before Peter Odili brought him to Governance

Wike reports only to the President

Oversight function doesn't stop Wike

.

Peter Odili himself said not long ago in a public gathering that their paths first crossed when he became Governor-elect and Wike was Chairman-elect of his own LGA so, how does that translate to bringing someone to governance? Odili brought Amechi to governance and not Wike.

Crime / Drug Trafficker Excretes 97 Wraps Of Cocaine After Arrest At Lagos Airport by Sanitizedem: 10:18pm On Apr 30, 2021
A 47-year-old drug trafficker, Chigbogu Ernest Obiora, has been arrested by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos.

The Spokesperson for the NDLEA, Femi Babafemi, said on Friday that Obiora was subsequently put under observation during which he excreted 97 wraps of cocaine with a total weight of 1.55 kilogrammes with a street value of N360 million.

“He was arrested about 1:16pm on Sunday, April 25, 2021, during the inward clearance of Ethiopian Airline. He had arrived Lagos onboard the airline from Entebbe, Uganda via Addis-Ababa, Ethiopia,” Babafemi said.

The Commander of the NDLEA at the airport, Ahmadu Garba said, Obiora was intercepted in the E-arrival hall of the airport by the operatives of the agency on the suspicion that he ingested drug substance.

He said, “The suspect was taken for body machine scan and the result was positive for ingestion of substance suspected to be an illicit drug. The suspect was promptly moved to the NDLEA excretion/observation facility.”

Barely an hour after he was arrested, Obiora was said to have excreted 31 wraps of cocaine weighing 500grammes and another 47 wraps (750 grammes) in the evening of same day while 19 wraps (300 grammes) were excreted the following day, Monday, April 26, bringing the total to 97 wraps, that is, 1.55kg.

Babafemi said under interrogation, Obiora claimed he was promised $1,500 if he successfully trafficked the drugs, adding that he opted for the ‘deal’ because he needed money.

“I did it so that I will be capable of feeding my family. I was living in Madagascar but due to the COVID-19 and the lockdown in the country, I couldn’t go back to my place of work.

“There was a time I started lacking money to feed my family and to pay my children’s school fees and the worst part of it is to pay my rent. So, I decided to take the option to do it,” he said.

Obiora reportedly said he never knew he could be arrested while stating that he has never met the real owner of the drug.

“I don’t know him, they contacted me on phone and asked if I can do the business,” he claimed.

Meanwhile, in continuation of efforts to dismantle all drug spots, the Ondo State Command of the NDLEA has raided two joints, arrested two dealers, and seized 80.2 kilogrammes of skuchies, while four hectares of cannabis farms were destroyed in the Eleyewo area of Akure south local government.

The acting commander of the agency in the state, Callys Alumona said a lady, 31-year-old Ibukunoluwa Kemi, and a 25-year-old young man, Oluwaseun Sunday were arrested with 78kg and 2.2kg of skuchies respectively.

Crime / Nigerian Arrested For Selling Drugs In Patong, Thailand by Sanitizedem: 11:52pm On Mar 27, 2021
PHUKET: A Nigerian man was arrested and amounts of crystal methamphetamine, cocaine and ecstasy seized, as he was allegedly making a delivery to customers in Patong area.

Davidsmith Chinazaekpere Ejiogo, 26, was apprehended in Soi Nanai 8, off Nanai Road, in tambon Patong on Tuesday, Patong police said.

Arresting officers found one sachet of crystal methamphetamine, six of cocaine and four of powdered ecstasy in his pockets.

The arrest followed a tip-off from an informant that an African man would deliver illicit drugs to customers in Soi Nanai 8 on Tuesday.

Police assigned to the area noticed the suspect standing, waiting in the street. They approached him, and a search revealed the drugs.

Mr Ejiogo allegedly admitted he had more drugs in his room in Kalama area. He led police there and some cocaine was found inside a drawer under his bed, and some ecstasy hidden under a tree in front of the room, said police.

He was taken to Patong police station for further questioning.

The suspect said he bought the drugs from an Asian friend in Bang Thao area of Thalang district, but did not know his real name, according to police.

He was held in police custody on charges of illegal possession of illicit drugs with intent to sell.

Crime / Tanzania High Court Sentences Nigerian Drug Trafficker To Life by Sanitizedem: 11:59am On Mar 21, 2021
Moshi. The High Court of Tanzania has sentenced Mike Nwankwo, a clothing retailer in Abuja, Nigeria, to life in prison after finding him guilty of drug trafficking.

However, Judge Mohamed Gwae, who heard the case, acquitted the first accused, Ms Mastura Makongoro, who is Nwankwo’s girlfriend, due to lack of evidence against her.

The verdict against Nwankwo and his girlfriend was handed down on Friday where Judge Gwae said the testimony of nine witnesses to the prosecution and 18 exhibits, confirmed the indictment against the Nigerian citizen beyond any reasonable doubt. The prosecution in the case was led by State advocates from the National Prosecution Service (NPS), Ignas Mwinuka, while Nwankwo was defended by advocate Diana Solomoni and Mastura who was cleared, was defended by advocate Modestus Njau.

According to the case, the prosecution claimed that on February 12, 2014 at the Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA), the defendants were found transporting 5,126 grams of heroin to Freetown, Sierra Leone.

It was reported that the defendants were lovers where the first defendant, Ms Mastura, had asked his boyfriend Sh15 million for the construction of a house, and the latter replied that he would find her a job that would provide her with the money. Then, the second defendant assigned his girlfriend to transport a bag containing the drugs to Sierra Leone.

On the day of their arrest, the Nigerian national escorted his girlfriend to KIA where she entered and underwent inspections and was given a boarding pass by Ethiopian Airline.

Upon completion, the defendant, who was a student at Bandari College, went to sit in the waiting room and her bag was sent to an Xray machine for inspection.

However, security officers became suspicious and called the accused to reduce some of her belongings and it still was heavier than the allowable luggage weight and the officers suspected something was hidden.

Police officers decided to tear up the bag and thus they came across four envelopes that contained the drugs and in an initial questioning the accused claimed the bag had been given to her by her boyfriend.

The suspect was taken to the KIA Police Station, and while she was being held there, the second accused returned to the scene searching for his girlfriend after he suspected something was wrong. While at the scene, the police suspected that he was the one mentioned as the owner of the bag and arrested him.

Judge Gwae said he was acquitting the first defendant because in the way the drugs were stored in the bag, she would not have been aware that there was anything extra in the bag.
