You can write the exams without paying annual dues but you will definitely pay when you qualify.

Meanwhile, ICAN stated it in the syllabus that results are released within 6 to 8 weeks after the examination and in the 9th week, we are still having 50/50 chance without any formal communication from ICAN.

my next question is? How does one get the center for examination. Does registering in lagos means you are writing in lagos? Cause i will be going for nysc soon and cant tell which state i will get.

Examination centre is chosen at the point of registration for examination.

after this ( i mean after you successfully register as a student), you will still pay and register for exemption. it is after you have gotten your exemption certificate that you can register for exam and choose your preferred centre.

What is the meaning of "official" Once results have been approved by the council members it becomes official immediately even if it has not been pasted or uploaded online. Before results are being uploaded online, it must have been approved (official). So uploading results online does not make it official. It becomes official at the point of approval and not when uploaded

Unless, you don't have your NYSC certificate.
Once you have that, you don't need to process transcripts bro.

ICAN no try at all. This was how they Bleep up for November 2015 results when they sent in two conflicting results.
At least, we were supposed to get a text from them today apologizing for the delay in releasing results and communicating when the results would be finally out.
It was stated clearly in their syllabus that results would be released between 6-8weeks.

Ok sha, they know that nothing would happen even if they release results in February so far is Nigeria.

The effect is clear, you won't be able to prepare for May 2017 diet on time and that's an advantage to them.[color=#000099][/color]

Got an info that it would be released on 18th of this month.

Just got an info that the results for November diet would be released on 18th January. One of the ICAN examiner told my friend today.

the message here is that HR people should have the decency to communicate with the candidates that did not succeed. instead of promising them "you will hear from us". or leaving them in the cold.

Most of these so called HR don't know anything. You will have to know someone in the prospective company before you know what is going on with your application.
Too bad!!!

A simple feedback like a "regret mail" is enough. Though, kudos to some multi-national companies,, they give feedback on application and some will even tell you the reason your application can not be processed further.
