This news is highly inconsequential. Abuja as a whole is the least populated in Nigeria and has a total population of about 1.5 to 1.7 million.
And by the way, apart from Lagos, all these other results are from the 2006 census results. only Lagos state has the most recent figures since they conducted internal elections last year or so. Meaning that you shouldn't compare the present Lagos population with the 2006 census population of the rest states.

I grew up in Zaria...so you know. Zaria maybe populated but no where as developed or viable as any of the 3 big cities in Anambra. Zaria cannot assume capital status as Kaduna city but Onitsha and Nnewi can assume that status in 24 hrs.

I don't understand what you mean by not developed and viable. A city that is populated and have people from very part of Nigeria doing business and working is not viable? A city that is bigger and more populated than 2/3 of all the state capital in Nigeria including all the cities and state capitals in the SE is not viable? What are you talking about? Yes, Kaduna is not Zaria's mate in every sense but ZARIA can be a state capital of any state in the SE in less than 1 hour.

Name me 3 big cities in Kano, Ogun, Oyo, Ondo, Kaduna? You can only name one, maybe 2 at most in these states. But in Anambra you can name 4 or 5 cities that are well developed. That is the focus of this thread and my post.

Kaduna State:- Kaduna (which is undoubtedly more developed and bigger than anambra as a whole), Zaria(which I believe is more populated and cosmopolitan than all the cities in anambra), Kagoro, Kafanchan, Zango Kataf, Kachia and Zonkwa. Travel my brother. I don't want to talk of Kano sef.

Fear enveloped Egede community in Udi Local Government Area of Enugu State, following the alleged killing of an indigene by Fulani herdsmen.
It was gathered that the 42-year-old Chinwuba Ekwueme, father of three and a member of the Egede Neighbourhood Watch was reportedly murdered by AK- 47 wielding Fulani herdsmen.
The herdsmen were reportedly grazing their cattle in the community.
The situation has heightened tension in the area as community leaders make efforts to forestall reprisal attacks.
Chairman of Egede Neighbourhood Watch, Mr. Donatus Otie, who confirmed the killing, said the deceased was murdered by the herdsmen after other vigilante members took to their heels.
According to him, the herdsmen came shooting at the community vigilante members.
The deceased was not however lucky as he was surrounded by the cattle men that eventually gave him severe machete cuts that led to his death.

Indians are very proud of what they make. The difference between Nigeria and India is that they understand that they are a developing economy and they live within their means trying to develop their economy indigenously. Nigeria on the other hand doesn't recognize that it is an undeveloped country so no effort is been made to even work toward development. Everyone in Nigeria wants to live like they live in the US, buy expensive cars, clothes, jets, etc.
