Career / Re: How To Work With A Difficult Boss by scaramenga: 7:13am On Sep 02, 2016
Amaga:
Several people, over the course of their career, have crossed path at one time or the other with difficult bosses. There are those who are currently sharing an office with a difficult boss who may see the situation as hopeless. Here are four simple ways to work with a difficult boss.

Stay Calm: Staying calm when being screamed at could be quite difficult to do. Some let their emotions get the better of them by either breaking down in tears or screaming back in other to protect a bruised ego. In the corporate hierarchy, your boss is above you and so whatever is said to you in any manner take it with a smile while you plan an exit strategy.

Stay Focused: After a demoralising encounter with the boss, one is often plunged into a sea of despair. Do not let it get to you. Stay focused on the job. People are known to make more mistakes during such a period. Try as much as you can to put yourself together and continue the task as though you never had the encounter.

Stay Committed: You need to, as much as you can, stay committed to your career path. Some have let a difficult boss ruin their career path by resigning without a backup strategy. Do not let that happen to you. Stay focused on the path you have chosen and learn the ropes steadily so that you can attain all that you have set out in life to achieve. Always remember that an unfulfilled life is full of pain and agony and life has its difficult moments. Nothing lasts forever.

Stay Happy: It is often easy to transfer aggression especially when the person to receive it is perceived weaker than we are. After a bad day, some spouses easily transfer the anger from work and this would affect their relationship at home. Never let that happen to you. Whatever happens at work, ensure that it remains at the work place. Remain happy and never make your source of joy, which is your family, unhappy.

In all of these, always remember that happiness can neither be bought nor transferred. Happiness is in you and it is your decision to be happy or not. Let no one make you choose sadness. It is not worth it. Be happy and stay positive.

Pele, hahahhahhah

Terra Hawks never scared me, I think they were the reason I was always bogging my mom, aunt's, uncles and even my elder sisters boyfriends that I needed dolls like them....

grin

I don't remember water down.....
Oliver twist only Made me sad a bit.

The cartoon that made me scare was because of one mischievous character there named "animal" - daffy babies u think... There is groggy, piggy and the rest of them then their never fully shown but leggy nanny.

grin grin grin scaredy cat

cheesy you no fear terrahawks?
If I hear, terrahawks was super creepy is it zelda or her son that sounded like he was gargling blood or something?
Even the good guys looked creepy

1.Animals of farthwood

An NTA2 channel 5 favourite 90s kids will remember.
Its about a group of forest creatures who are forced out of their homes by humans turning the forest into a mall or whatever, anyway they head for a park (which is kind of a sanctuary for their kind) and have some misadventures along the way and when I mean misadventures I mean some of them getting shot and killed or getting road killed or getting pierced and killed by thorns.
There is not a single scene of fun or laughter it is all darkness, sorrow , pain and fear. Anyway a handful of them made it to the park in the end that counts as a win right?

2.Alixx
From silverbird on saturday mornings, it follows the adventures of alexander the great which includes losing his friends to such violents and twisted fates.
I remember an episode where he befriended a lion and during war time the lion attacked alixxs enemies and got killed off screen but that wasn't enough for the studio, they had to show us the dead lion with tons of arrows all over its body dumped in the desert and then they were done I mean they literarily cut to credits after that scene

3.Code geass
A little more recent than the others on the list and arguably the best anime I've ever seen, the story follows an exiled prince of a ficticious nation and his obsession with destroying this said nation for personal reasons using mostly his brain and some hypnotic power given to him by a witch. Cool story right? Well except for one thing, code geass has about 43 episodes and only 1 is a happy episode, the saddest moment was when his younger brother(long story) sacrificed himself to save the Prince from attacking soldiers it was so slow and so real I could literarily feel the little boys heart slow down and to top it all there was one really melancholic tune playing in background just to seal the deal angry and in the end it was all for nothing cause the prince intended on killing his brother initially(long story)

4.Little prince
Hey who remembers little prince from NTA 10? about a dude from planet b-16 who travels from his planet using a shooting star to visit earth and bump into someone who just happens to be depressed about something, the little prince helps him conquer his depression says a painful goodbye and heads back to his lonely planet leaving me depressed sad

5.Lost toys
A channels television favourite won't be surprised if they still show it by now, its about an abandoned teddy bear and doll who look for new owners, if you are expecting a funny toy story like adventure you go tey this cartoon shows a destitute injured dog, a cold teddy bear, an almost n*ked doll who kept ripping off her dress to treat peoples wounds, at the end they get new owners but in different homes and the dog doesn't even get adopted he's just abandoned in the snow while this really really saaaaaaad adele like song plays in the back ground.

Is there any cartoon I missed in my list?

And I'm fresh out of ideas.
Please I just want to know is there any otherway to raise funds when I get to the US? Cause I will be paying by installments
